The worst foundation I've ever used.
Comments about RESIST Anti-Aging Serum Foundation - Level 0:
All I kept thinking while testing out this foundation is, "How...". How did this make it to market? How did this prompt the company to discontinue ALL of its other foundations? Even the awesome tinted sunscreen is gone. This is not only the worst PC product, it's the worst foundation I've ever tried. Here's why:It's thin and runny, but it doesn't blend. Like, at all. It sticks to the skin in the exact ways you do not want foundation to stick: in blotchy patches that will not move. They can be rubbed until they crumble off--and this product does cause extreme balling up of other PC products used underneath, because a lot of PC products hate each other--but it can't be blended. It does the opposite of what a foundation should: it does not even out the skin, but instead highlights every pore. Every hair. Every bump. It's as if it was designed to be an anti-foundation, where the skin surface looks awful, but the follicle openings look amazing. It does not stay on. I mean, it barely goes on in the first place, so this isn't a surprise. It will stay in those pores, though, leaving you with teeny polka-dots of product. And it'll keep clinging to any and all dry spots. They say it's good for wrinkles... yeahno. Good luck having any texture on your face with this.Basically this product is just awful awful terrible horrible awful. Everyone who made this work and gave it good reviews, your face is practicing some kind of fantastic sorcery.Only positive of this foundation is that I'm extremely fair, and the 0 shade was light enough. It was, however, too yellow, which all PC color products are for me. And of course it failed in every way as a foundation. If all of this sounds harsh, it's because I have been extremely loyal to this brand for years, and am in stunned disbelief. Please bring back the foundations people like, including the tinted sunscreen. PLEASE.

Terrible for me
About Me Classic Style
I love almost all of the Paula's Choice products I've used except this foundation. I'm sorry to say that this is the worst foundation I've ever tried. It's very pretty when first applied but within minutes it starts to look uneven and cakey. After wearing it for a full day it looks terrible. It separates and looks patchy. I tried blotting and that made it look 10 times worse. I really want to like this (I've tried using it many times) but, in the end, I can't make it work.

I love how prompt delivery always is!

Despite the bad reviews, I gave it a try since it's the only foundation available from PC right now. Most of the reviews were complaints about it being too dry, but I tend to have oily skin so I didn't think it would be a problem. I was wrong. Somehow this foundation made my oily skin look flaky and dry. I kept trying to make it work but it is just terrible to the point of being unusable. Now I have to find another brand.
the best foundation I have ever used
from Lake Forest, IL
The only reason I'm giving 4 starts and 5 is the color. I have light skin, not light like porcelain, but light with pink undertones. I purchased level 3 since it looked pinkish on the website, but it is still too yellow for my skin. This has been a problem for me with all PC foundations. However, because it blends so well I can work with this color. Also, I prefer full coverage, since I have some redness that I like to cover, and this foundation provides medium coverage, however it is buildable. The texture of this foundation is amazing though. I don't feel anything on my face, so lightweight. It is not shiny at all, like other brands (Tarte), but also not drying whatsoever. I normally use Chanel, but the amount of perfume they dump into their products is just unacceptable for me, their texture is also way inferior to PC, so I'm definitely switching to this foundation. Please please do not discontinue it and do not add SPF, I like to use SPF moisturizer from PC and I don't like foundations with SPF. If you could consider adding a color that truly has pink undertones, that would be great, but I work with these colors as well.

About Me Natural Style
This is the worst foundation ever! I tried to love it just like I loved the Best Face Forward foundation. This is a terrible product. It is hard to put on correctly. It sinks into pores and wrinkles and emphasizes them more. Who wants that?? I am really disappointed in Paula's Choice for creating this bad product. Bring back Best Face Forward! I will have to look elsewhere for my foundation needs, which I am very sad about.

I was a devoted Best Face Forward fan for years and was so disappointed when Paula discontinued every foundation option. I was told that a new foundation would be out, and apparently, this is it. This foundation is difficult to apply, and when used over the top of my Paula's sunscreen (Youth Extending Hydration fluid) actually gelled up into a really frightening consistency. I have no idea why this is a replacement to Paula's other foundations, it is definitely not an improvement and now I have to look elsewhere for a new makeup brand after years of daily use.
So sorry, it's just too dry.

Wanted so much to love this foundation and at first I thought I did but it was just too dry and too matte. Lovely finish at first, very lightweight and good coverage but just made my skin feel tight and I do not have dry skin!

This is the worst foundation I have ever used. It is difficult to apply and makes my skin look very dry. Since they discontinued their excellent Face Forward foundation, I am forced to find another cosmetic line with a better foundation.
I really tries!

I love all of Paula's products, that is up until now. I really tried to work with this product. I wrote PC for advise and followed all the suggestions. Bought the primer and I loved it but it did not help with this foundation, at least for me. I loved Best Face Forward, still have some left so I'm using that up.I will need to start looking for a new foundation. I do love your products and love my PC skin cares routine.

I wanted to love it :-(
from Bburg VA
This by far has been one of the worst foundations of ever used. I've tried it with many different primers including the new one from PC and without a primer. I use the resist skincare line for blemish prone skin. I Have never had this issue with any foundation. I use a half a pump for the entire face and within 2 hours I have total cake face. When applying the foundation it won't even stick to my noes unless using a patting motion but it won't stay even if I try and set it. I have tried no powder and several different brands and there's no difference. I really want to love it but I'll see if my mom can use it as she has mature normal skin.
