About Me Natural Style
Comments about RESIST Anti-Aging Serum Foundation - Level 0:
I should have listened to other reviewers, but I couldn't believe PC would release such a disappointing product, especially as its sole foundation offering! The color was bad for me - I used the "medium/tan" pressed powders back when PC had them (why are they all now gone?) - so I got level 5 in this and I looked like a ghost! It was also really too thick and almost-dry to spread. And, as others mention, you need perfect skin as it latches on and accentuated everything - pores, fine lines, creases - and doesn't give a smooth or natural look at all. I have combo/sometimes oily skin and this was too dry for even me, which nothing is. I was tempted to try a darker color, but the texture and feel was so awful I don't think I should bother. I really miss the old sheer tints and hope something like them comes back!

About Me Classic Style
Unlike many reviews I have no issue with how this applies, how it wears, etc, I am honestly baffled by all the complaints about it being too heavy and not like the Barely There Tine (it's foundation that is billed as medium to full coverage so of course it's not going to be like a tinted moisturizer.) I for one wear foundation to cover redness, etc. I have no illusions that anyone is going to think I am not wearing any make up (and if you do, you are fooling yourself because even tinted moisturizer looks like make up). But I digress. :) My issue is the shades, none of them work for me. I am pretty pale, probably porcelain. I found the Level 0 too light and made me look ghostly while Level 1 was either too dark or too yellow, (even though it says it has a neutral undertone). I couldn't decide why it was bad on me but it was. I tried mixing Level 0 and 1 but that didn't work either. So...I hope PC doesn't give up on this and can expand the shades to cover varying shades of super pale (as well as dark skin tones as I notice there really isn't anything there for deeper skin tones.)
Please bring back Barely There!
I am a long time PC product user. I have been searching in vain for a Barely There replacement and hoped this would be it. I am so very disappointed. PC, please listen to your customers and bring back Barely There!!!
Delivery prompt as usual.
Very Disappointing. Not Recommended for Dry Sensitive Skin
from Washington, DC
I was so excited to see this new foundation, because I've been desperately seeking a replacement for the discontinued All Bases Covered, which I used for years. Unfortunately, as others have noted, this foundation does not work for dry skin. Contrary to the description, it accentuates fine lines and pores. Furthermore, I was unable to match my skin tone, even by combining two shades (and who wants to have to do that anyways, especially for travel?). I gave it a second star because if you have oilier skin and are lucky enough to have skin the exact color as one of the shades, it did seem to have good coverage. Shortly after starting using this foundation, I developed deep, sebaceous acne. I'm not sure whether it was caused by the foundation, though, because I also had to recently switch moisturizers due to the discontinuation of another favorite (Moisture Boost Daily).
I wanted to love this but....
I'm a long time customer and I really wanted to love this foundation. With my oily/combination skin, I find it "grabs" onto dry areas and highlights wrinkles/pore size. I loved the Best Faces Forward foundation and would love for you to bring that back!

I'm such a big PC user and while I never expect her makeup to perform as well as her skincare, this foundation is disastrous. Any pros I can list - the colors are nice, the pump dispenses the right amount of product - are severely trumped by the actual formula. Unless you have smooth, textureless skin, this foundation will immediately cake up and separate. I exfoliate daily using the 2% BHA liquid, but the foundaton latched onto any texture on my face - particularly on and around my nose - and sort of sat on top. It's kind of horrifying that the PC team would give poor ratings to amazing complexion products like Tarte's Shape Tape concealer and Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation, then release this nightmare of a foundation.
Delivery was prompt and fabulous as usual.

Please bring back Sheer Foundation
from Philadelphia, PA
This product might be better for more oily skin that needs more coverage. This showed up in my pores and made my skin drier. I loved Paula's other two discontinued foundations, but now will have to switch brands. Please bring back Sheer Tint Foundation! I use a ton of other PC products and miss the discontinued foundations.

I really wanted to love this foundation but it just didn't work for me. I bought the color closest to the shade I used for previous PC foundations but it was too yellow. I purchased a second shade and it was also too yellow and a poor match. In addition, the foundation was very difficult to blend and accentuated my pores. It also clung to dry patches and looked drier throughout the day. I tried it with and without the PC primer and got poor results both ways. I'll be returning this. Please bring back the Sheer Matte Tint!

Poor performance. Disappointing.
from Northern California
This product is heavy, difficult to apply, and wears very poorly. Paula's Choice make-up previously highlighted beautiful skin. Previous products never wore as obvious, garish make-up. This product disappoints as there is no way to make it appear natural -- it screams "I'm wearing makeup."An even bigger disappointment is that Barely There Sheer Tint is no longer available. I wore it for years and always received compliments on my beautiful skin. Please bring back Barely There Sheer Tint. It was sheer AND buildable. It covered the red of Rosacea and wore very well and naturally, even after a 12 hour day in the heat. And it could be worn around the eyes for a smooth, color neutralizing finish.

Unlike Paula's discontinued foundation, this was difficult to apply. Made my skin look chalky and dry. Due to my skin being dry, I will not try another product that is for "all skin types".
Always receive Paula's products within a few days after ordering. Did not wear every day and only tried a few times so was able to return even though I had had it a couple of weeks.
