    Wonderful product!
    • I am happy with this product! The soft ivory was perfect for my fair-skin. I apply this under my eyes and chin area and it does the job perfectly. It isn't oily at all and does not leave a glossy finish. Very nice!

    Problems Solved
    • The Soft Ivory color is darker and more yellow than my skin and also the texture is not quite creamy enough. However, I've found that applying the concealer over a generous application of Moisture Boost solves both problems. I don't love the concealer, because of the extra step of blending the concealer into the Moisture Boost. The under eye coverage is good, and I intend to use the product while looking for a better match for my skin color and texture.

    Bad Creases
    • I decided to give this concealer a try one day. Finger application works best; I tried this for under eye circles, which gave decent coverage, however, just a few hours later I noticed in the mirror that it had settled into the creases of the eye and created a very unattractive and obvious striped effect. It just doesn't seem to want to stay put. The best success I've had is with MAC Prolongwear Concealer, very good coverage, and never creases. The pump container is messy though.

Where are the shades for brown-skinned women?
    • I really wish PC would develop colors suitable for women who have medium to dark complexions. I've been a faithful user of PC skin care products for years and have introduced many friends and family members to those products. The continued absence of color cosmetics for women with brown skin tones leaves me wondering if the company has any interest in being faithful to customers like me.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your comments with us. We have tested other shades in the Soft Creamy Concealer and are always looking at the best potential options. In the case of the concealer, the colors we currently offer are the ones that were most in-demand. Other shades did not sell as well. We hope this explanation is helpful!

    • I did not like this concealer. It not only did not cover my dark circles, which are not that dark, but it also broke me out. I didn't find it easy to apply either.

    never buying another concealer! :)
    • I can't believe how well this blends. It's about the same price as the Revlon or Neutrogena stuff I get at the drug store (mama is on a budget!) but such better quality! Doesn't cake, ALMOST no settling into fine lines, doesn't rub or sweat off at the gym BUT it comes off nicely with soap and water. One of my biggest troubles is my dark under eye circles. I love this stuff!

    Not for me...
    • Unfortunately, this concealer didn't work well for me. It seemed too stiff and was difficult to apply in a thin, even coat under my eyes. I tried Paula's concealer brush to apply it, but it still didn't work. When I tried to spread it out, it pulled the delicate skin under my eyes.

    Best Concealer Ever
    • I use many PC products and decided to try the concealer because I was not happy with the product I was using. I have dry, fair and sensitive skin, so I have to be careful with what makeup I use or else I look like a creased clown. This concealer is amazing! It covers any red marks, veins and most importantly dark circles. I took the advice of others and set it with powder, and I have not had issues with it settling into the creases under my eyes. The only concealer for me.

    Very happy!
    • I just wanted to add my review to those who are very, very pleased with this concealer! I had been using a pricier liquid concealer, which just didn't last over the dark circles under my eyes. I am so happy that I've now found something that looks natural and will still offer coverage even at then end of a 12-hour shift. I'm no makeup artist either, so am delighted that the cream is easy to apply and blend. This is a perfect concealer for me! Thanks Paula!

    in love!!!
    • i have tried so many concealers over the years-- i love a more natural look, but depend on concealer to even out skin tone (and create that glow!). i absolutely love how this blends and stays put on me. i have somewhat dry skin and it's creamy enough to be soothing. i use the soft neutral (i'm medium complected) and the color is perfect. just ordered 3 of these as i've gone through my first one in the last few months. also so portable at this size for touch ups.

As good as the expensive ones.
    • This concealer is not perfect, but I would argue it's among the best--but it suffers from some of the same flaws. This only covers lightly, but it's easy to blend. Contrary to claims, it does settle into lines -- especially if it's not blended carefully/one uses too much. That said, this does highlight and conceal minor under-eye imperfections very well, looks natural and is easy to use. Although not a miracle, it's as good as ones that are triple the price.

It does settle into the creases
    • Don't all concealers settle into the creases? I definitely have to watch for that, gently rub in and know to expect it. I find myself wanting to buy it again because the coverage is great, and I think all products do it.

    • Lovely texture, goes on great, blends beautifully, great price. However, it does not cover enough. I would get a little darker shade but it does not come any darker. I have been noticing this about Paulas chhoice products. I am light to medium skin toned and this is to light fo me.

    Worst Concealer Ever
    • It sets into the fine lines, cakey, creases and starts to "peel off" in less than an hour. I've loved very much every PC product I've tried, so I didn't expect this to happen. I've tried a lot of things to make it work. Prime, moisturize, setting it with a powder, using it before / after the foundation (I use all PC products), and I still can't make it work. I ran out of options, so I've come to the conclusion that nothing I do will work.

    WONDERFUL PRODUCT
    • I have VERY fair skin and constant issues with dark circles due to allergies. I've tried nearly every high end brand concealer and drug store brand of concealer out there. This is one of the best of the best quality wise. You have to build the coverage or else you will find it in wrinkles...which is the case with ALL high end cream concealers. This product is a steal at the price and a great eyeshadow base/corner of eye cover without drying your eyes or looking pasty/drying skin. Set w/powder.

Coming from someone who thinks concealer is complete rubbish
    • I'm 39 and have porcelain fair skin and brownish-red undereye circles. Occasionally I try concealers at Sephora or Nordstrom because I know I can return them, and I always do. Concealers for me have always had to be caked on just to combat the darkness. I end up looking ridiculous within the hour from either all the dryness or cracking. Paula's soft ivory concealer is a surprising find for me. It's buildable, actually natural-looking because i don't use much, & sets easily with HD powder.

    Sad
    • I'm am very disappointed with this concealer. I applied it to my under eye area at 6 AM and by 8 AM I was needing to reapply. So much slippage and the coverage is light at best. I wasn't expecting it to move mountains, but I was expecting it to not wear off in 2 hours. I'll have to keep looking for something else to wear with my All Bases Covered foundation (which I love).

    A Great Product
    • I finally tried this concealer and it is ideal. I was skeptical after seeing some of the mixed reviews, but very pleased with the results. I use it to cover dark circles and it offers excellent coverage. The formula is surprisingly light weight and not the least bit pasty. The neutral shade looks natural on my skin (medium light with freckles). Even in bright daylight it doesn't look obvious. Thanks for another excellent product.

    Wonderful!
    • The formula is lightweight and creamy while still offering full coverage. I don't even feel it on my skin--it's that light. And since it's from PC, I know it only contains skin-loving ingredients. And at a very reasonable price for the quality. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the limited color range. It would be nice if they offered a peachy corrector shade to help hide dark under-eye circles. I am very fair and the lightest shade can still show up too light at times.

What makes this product unique?
Soft Cream Concealer is a creamy concealer that doesn't crease into lines around the eye, does not cake or look dry, and comes in true neutral colors that camouflage dark circles while still looking natural. Soft Cream Concealer also covers redness, and minor imperfections with its smooth, moisturizing formula that blends easily over the skin. The lightweight cream finish provides medium to full coverage and leaves skin looking perfected.

This product is 100% fragrance-free. Fill weight for this product is .09 oz.

Who is this product for?
Soft Cream Concealer is recommended for all skin types to cover dark circles, redness, or other minor imperfections.

Key Ingredients: caprylic/capric triglyceride, vitamin E, dimethicone, allantoin

Product Ingredients:

Octyldodecanol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (emollients), Dimethicone (silicone slip agent), Ozokerite (wax-based thickener/bodifier), BIS-PEG-12 Dimethicone Candellilate (silicone-based thickener), Jojoba Wax PEG-120 Esters (solubolzier), PEG-12 Carnauba (thickener), Polyethylene (texture enhancer), Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E/antioxidant), Allantoin (skin-soothing agent), Phenoxyethanol (preservative).

May Contain: Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides (FDA-approved mineral pigments).

DIRECTIONS: Apply using your finger or Paula's Choice Concealer Brush. Transfer the concealer in small dots or a light coat of color under the eye area. Depending on the technique you prefer, you can apply foundation first, then concealer or vice-versa. Many women notice that they end up using less concealer if they apply their foundation first.

Blend gently along the undereye area using either your finger, a sponge (the sponge can be dry or slightly damp, depending on your blending preference), or a concealer brush. Concentrate the greatest amount of concealer over the darkest areas, and "feather" the edges so the concealer imperceptibly fades into the surrounding (non-dark) skin.

If the skin under the eyes is dry and/or wrinkled, it does help to apply a lightweight moisturizer prior to concealer. Be aware that if the moisturizer is too greasy or applied too heavily, it will cause slippage of the concealer into facial lines.

Soft Cream Concealer can be applied to the eyelids to even out discolorations and provide a base for powder eyeshadows.

Concealer is also known as "highlighter" and can be used to do just that on the brow bone, the center of the chin, or in the creases that form from the sides of the nose to the mouth. Remember that light colors bring forward, darks recede!

Soft Cream Concealer can be applied to the eyelids to even out discolorations and provide a base for powder eyeshadows. If your eyelids tend to be oily, we recommend using a matte finish concealer or foundation instead.

What type of finish does Soft Cream Concealer have?

Soft Cream Concealer has a soft, satin-like finish. It never looks dry or cakey, nor will it make skin appear dull.

Is it OK to use Soft Cream Concealer on acne?

Ideally, no. The emollients and wax-like ingredients in this concealer are not the best to use on acne or blemish-prone areas. Liquid concealers with a matte finish are much better, and Paula recommends her favorites in her books and on her Web site Beautypedia.
