Once a week on your feet!
from DFW, TX
About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about RESIST Weekly Retexturizing Foam 4% BHA - 1.5 oz:
Combine one pump of this per foot with the Hydrating Treatment Mask once a week at bedtime for a real boost to your feet. I apply socks and keep them on overnight to wake with super soft feet. You can tell an immediate difference but with repeated use it just gets better! No more cracked, dry skin around the heals! I got this tip from the web and I was reluctant to try it because I felt it was a bit expensive to combine the two products but it was so worth the investment. I rarely need to go for professional pedicures. I now use this product exclusively for my feet. I have sensitive skin and much prefer the results of the Resist Weekly Resurfacing Treatment with 10% AHA for my face and cuticles.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Itchy Rash Immediately After First Application!
from Cambridge, MA
I'd suggest ordering a sample of this before buying an entire bottle, and try it in a small inconspicuous area before applying more broadly. I broke out with an itchy rash of tiny bumps all over my face and neck within an hour of application. The rash hasn't cleared yet. Hope it goes away in the next couple of days, since I have a wedding to attend next week! I'm really disappointed I had such a bad reaction considering I've had good experiences with other PC products, including BHAs from Clear and Resist lines. I did some googling, and it seems many others have had this same reaction to PC's BHA 4%. Some suggested there may be a common irritant in the formulation. Wish this weren't the case :(
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Did Not work!!
I was very excited for this product as my daughter has acne on her forehead and blackheads, nothing was working on her so thought to give 4% BHA a try , I just used one pump on her whole face during bed time and when she woke up next morning she was complaining of burning and face was red ,dry with brown crusty and flaky skin ( I am not sure if it burned her skin). I felt so bad ..looks like instead of improving it made it worst.

I've used this before with some dryness, but nothing really bad. Last week I had a bad reaction.. My face started feeling hot and prickly. I looked in the mirror and it was bright red. The next morning it was slightly swollen in addition to the previous symptoms. It has gradually improved, but it's still dry and flaky. My skin is combination and is more oily this time of year, so it should not be this dry! I think perhaps the problem is the added salicylic acid. Some people might be sensitive to it. I've used glycolic acid and other exfoliants before and have never had this kind of reaction.

CAUSED CYSTIC ANCE AND WHITE HEADS
from Black Hills, SD
The bad smell wouldn't have been an issue had this product worked, buy my oily, acne-prone skin that is clear unless I use an offending product reacted badly to this exfoliant. I developed cystic acne and a new eruption of white heads daily. If you have a similar skin type think twice before using this, and especially if you're coming up on a special event!

No kidding: It has worked for the milia around my chin!
from Canada, Montreal
I use this product almost three times a week at nights. For the rest of the days I use PC clear body spray which contains 2% salicylic acid (yes! on my face) every morning and night.I mainly decided to use it to get rid of the stubborn tiny whiteheads (milia) around my chin; the problem that I've been struggling with since ever and nothing even my prescribed Retin-A could resolve it. I was initially amazed by how it left my skin soft while not even believing that it would be able to do anything for my main concern. The other day I was looking at myself in my new mirror and I noticed that the whiteheads are at least 95% gone (consider me as a perfectionist once it comes with skincare). I then made sure that the results are real and not biased by the poor lighting or so. The fishy smell takes a few minutes to fade away and to me is not a deal at all considering the impressive results. I am so thankful that my skin can tolerate it along with the prescribed Retin-A. I also enjoy how moisturizing it is so I can skip my moisturizer once being lazy.

Excellent Product - Differs in Strength Though
from Vancouver Island
About Me Minimalist
I am a red head with baby soft skin (that's how I describe my sun tolerance to poeple: "imagine I'm a baby"). I use this product daily (!!!!) along with a 10% AHA (the other weekly dose!!!) WITH the 1% clinical retinol ... DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT skips here prodycts if you have sensitive skin! Being sensitive does NOT mean these products will react on you. Don't miss this opportunity to try (I was scared too). My skin has always been horrible in a (almost) totally unseen manner; I have always had clogged pores all over that turn into black heads or fill up into bumps constantly. The way I was managing it was to scrape them clean all of the time. It was damaging my skin and the pores filling up all the time was enlarging them.I did not realize I had "acne" because I never had real "zits". Nor did I ever think that a product could clean from the inside! Nothing I've tried has ever worked. Never. This did. It has and it is continuing to. I have to use a small arsenol of products, but I don't care bc my acne is gone and so is the damaging practices I used to have to do to clean my pores. Give it a whirl!

Caused my face to be RED
from Irvine, CA
About Me Beauty Expert
I used this product on a night before going to a bed. The next morning I woke up with my face red and swollen. It felt like it was burning. It hurts so bad that I could barely touch it. My skin is definitely not sensitive at all. I rather have very thick skin. I've used AHA before and using Paula's choice's BHA 2% for a while, so I thought this would be okay. But it was a total disaster. I had to ice massage my skin because it was burning hot. People told me I looked like I have a serious sun burn. I kept putting aloe vera, but my face is not getting any better. 3 days later my face is still red and brown and crusty. I have spots with scabs on my face and it really look disgusting. It looks a lot better in picture, but my face actually is a lot worse than it looks in the picture.DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN.

Didn't work out
By Sleepy Sunny
from Onatrio, Canada
I was initially excited about adding this product to my fairly simple routine of a cleaner, the clear extra strength exfoliant, and a moisturizer. I was hoping to speed up the reduction of acne hyperpigmentation and further improve my skin texture, both things the clear exfoliant really helped with. Unfortunately, the retexturizing foam seems to have caused more problems than its solved. After its first use I noticed that my skin was redder than usual and it felt oddly bumpy in texture. I gave it a couple of weeks before trying it again and the next day it was once again more red than usual, and was irritated and sensitive like the beginnings of a rash. While it hasn't caused me to outright breakout, it doesn't seem to have helped some existing small jawline acne.I think I'll give this product one more try in another few weeks, but I'm not feeling especially hopeful. I can handle the smell, it does fade relatively quickly but the increased skin sensitivity is kind of worrying, as are the rash like symptoms. I've been fairly careful with laying off the makeup and using plenty of sunscreen in the days right after using this, but my skins texture still feels a bit off.

I wake up to soft, supple skin
from Colo Springs, CO
This product is truly skin changing! Even from my first use I wake up to amazingly smooth, soft skin. I use this product about three times a week because I just cannot get over how my face reacts - putting foundation is effortless as it just glides over the skin. I have also noticed several large pores on my nose and one oddly on my forehead that have drastically shrunk to what was probably their normal size before gunk built up and sum damage stretched them out. This is now a staple in my routine without a doubt. (And yes, it has an odd "fishy" smell, but it fades quickly as it absorbs and won't stop me from using this fab product).
