Beware and be careful!

Comments about RESIST Super Antioxidant Serum - 1 oz:
I have used Paula's products with care and always do a test. I started using this and did a patch test. After a week of using it by the directions and to the letter, my eyes started burning underneath. NOW I am left with bags and wrinkles from swelling!! It looks as though I am 10 years older. Hopefully, it will go down! In over years of products, I have never had a reaction to anything. It is really upsetting. Now I am left WITH wrinkles that I NEVER had! So buyer beware, the results may not happen right way but with use after repeated use. Mine was after a week of use.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Caused teenage breakouts
I'm so disappointed. I've been using this off and on and finally discovered that it was the cause of breakouts that I haven't had the likes of since my teenage years. So many great ingredients. Too bad it's in a greasy slimy base. Texture feels suffocating.

Beware if you have skin allergies
About Me Minimalist
First, I love Paula's Choice products as I have skin allergies, and have found that these products work great. This product was recommended to me (so it must be good as long as you don't have an allergic reaction). I started getting skin problems again, so I did some patch testing on my own with my skin care products. I was so disappointed when I found out that this serum was causing my skin problems.

This is my first tube of this serum and I really like it. It does a great job of moisturizing and I think my pores look smaller and skin looks smoother. I wish it were a bit less oily/greasy looking, but it does absorb pretty quickly.

great for very dry, eczema prone skin
I started using PC products again this fall after a break of a couple of years and some further aging of my skin *tears dropping* and I am really happy I returned to the products. This product is great for my dry, eczema prone, often irritated skin. It does go on quite thick, but quickly absorbs. I alternate this with Resist Retinol serum and I also generally alternate the 2% BHA lotion and 8% AHA. I'm sure this winter is still going to batter my skin, but the dark spots are fading and this product is very soothing when irritation does strike.

Good but texture is too argh!

About Me Beauty Expert
This serum is non-irritating and provides good moisture. It soothes the skin and erases any dryness immediately. The antioxidants in it are great. I have very acnegenic skin, however this serum never breaks me out. There is a major downside of this serum: its cosmetic elegancy! It's very very thick and hard to dry off (aka. absorb). The first 10 minutes of application my face looks like I just came out from an oil bath. The shininess does disappear a little bit after a while, but my face is still quite sticky. I suggest not to use this during the day time, unless you follow up with an oil absorbing powder. It might lessen the stay power of your makeup anyways. One suggestion for reformulation: add some water and emulsifier.

will purchase again!
I recently purchased this serum, first time to try Paula's serum. I had used Olay's serum which is okay, still had half a bottle so used it in the mornings and Paula's in the evening. Since Paula's serum had Vit. C then I thought it would be more effective than the Olay brand. I am in my 70's and I'm being realistic as to how my wrinkles are here to stay but must say after using Paula's serum my face is more finely textured and looks smoother, still have those vertical wrinkles above my lip. The serum is sticky and thick but after a few minutes it seems to blend into the skin and is no longer sticky. I don't wear foundation other than to cover dark circles under my eyes, apply blush and that is it! I will purchase the serum again.

I purchased this serum 5 years before and I hated it because it's like a honey. It didn't absorb and made my face became oily and broke me out. But I wanted to give it a try so I repurchased and I found out that the product had been secretly reformulated. This time it's less sticky and absorbs quickly into my skin. I've been using in the morning for 2 weeks and I can see smoother skin and my skin texture improves. I'm now in love with this serum.

MAKEUP ARTIST APPROVED!
from Phoenix, AZ
About Me Beauty Conscious, Beauty Expert
I have been obsessed and using this serum now for over 3 years. I am constantly being asked by clients what foundation I use because my skin always looks glowing and perfect. It is not the foundation, its great skin care! You can put the most expensive designer brand or drug store foundation on your skin, but if the skin isn't prepped properly nothing can make your skin look amazing more than good skin care. I probably use more than I should (a generous squeeze) and put it on my skin about 5 minutes before I do foundation. Looks crazy shiny at first but it all gets absorbed. Of course before this I use a PC toner and BHA exfoliant. I have never been sponsored by PC but I love it so much I even have an extra tube of serum in my makeup kit because it is that good. I use it AM & PM. If any improvements could be made it would only be that a larger size could be offered because I run through it so quickly :)
