Great product! Nice gentle fragrance of cocoa butter that's more spreadable. Great for cracked fingertips in harsh northern winters, for babies, grandparents, doctors, nurses. Costs very little compared to premium or natural brands, specialty products for cracked fingers, heels or cuticles. A softer plastic or a narrower tube might address packaging issues. Let's not compare it to a cheap drugstore product; this is healthier AND effective. Great for all ages-- for anyone with skin!

Ok, so this cream is about $4.24 an ounce. Yes, that's costly, but....it is a fabulous treatment for dry skin. I tried it while it was about 50% off. After the first couple uses, I rushed to get another one before the sale was over. It is very, very thick & personally I don't think you need to use alot of it to get the job done. It soaks in quite well & does not feel greasy. Would I reorder at full price? YES!!!! Love it.

I’m not thrilled with the chocolate smell which I assume comes from the cocoa butter and I do miss the lovely floral scents of my drugstore lotions, but this is a terrific cream that actually absorbs and is also very moisturizing. It’s really, really thick and emollient and I have to warm it up by rubbing in my hands first. It then becomes easy to spread and it has become a staple for my hands and feet.

I really wanted to like this product, but it's too thick to apply. However, it has a nice scent. I will return this since I know I won't use it.

I tried a sample size of this Body Butter. I don't have dry, calloused or rough skin, but I noticed a dramatic softening and smoothness of the skin after application on the knee area. I would imagine this would be very effecting in preventing dry, calloused skin on heels, elbows and knees. It has a nice thick consistency.

I love this product. This wonderful body butter is moisturizing and nourishing at the same time, it is not greasy and keeps my hands and feet happy all day. I love the smell, cocoa butter ads a genteel hint of chocolate. Definitely a great buy.

This body butter feels absolutely amazing and soothing. It's perfect for hands, feet, elbows, knees and anywhere else in need of some extra softening. It smells lovely: a natural, light scent of cocoa butter. It absorbs readily yet is intensely hydrating! It's awesome for under eyes and dry patches on the face. There is only one problem and it is the reason I cannot give this product 5 stars... The size! 4oz?! For that price? I'm used to getting 6.7 to 8 at that price point. I want more!!

i just recently started using this on my face! my skin has been dry from a combination of exfoliation and retin-a, and this just hydrates my skin leaving a beautiful, non-greasy finish that dries smooth (but hydrated) after a few minutes! this is a GREAT OPTION for a night moisturizer, and feels GREAT under my dry eyes, too. in just one night, my skin looked so much more luminous. i am going to order a few more tubes of this for my car and work!

My favorite body lotion, ever! It's the perfect texture. Before this, the only things that worked on my dry hands in the winter were Palmer's Cocoa Butter in the tub and Nivea Cream in the tub. Body butter is the best. It's nowhere near as waxy Palmer's, has no scent and isn't greasy. It's not as thick as Nivea and it blends into my skin better, yet it's thicker than most pump bottle lotions. The effects last longer, too. For example, I put some on last night--my hands still look smooth.

While the texture of this is waxy and thick compared to other body butters, this works much better! I have used the Body Shop ones but they leave my skin oily and over moisturized. This has a faint chocolate scent and has softened my calloused feet and dry knees without a greasy, oil slick residue. I love that it does not mess up my clothes. Better yet though, it's effective.

This is an excellent offering when applied after the Resist AHA or BHA lotion, especially during the winter months. It does not leave a greasy residue, which I love. For those of you who complain about the thickness of the product, try first dampening your hands with a little water, then rubbing in the cream. The water thins the consistency enough to make it spread easier, with the bonus of adding a bit more moisture to your skin. Highly recommended!

PC, thank you for such a wonderful, emollient solution to my eczema trouble spots. One of your customer service consultants recommended this in conjunction with your Skin Recovery Toner as a solution for my eczema, and let me just say, this stuff is wonderful. I would even dare say that it calms my itchiness and discomfort almost instantaneously. While it's not a cure, I've noticed that routine use has really reduced my symptoms. I no longer have chapped hands or elbows. All my scabbing is gone!

I love this body butter! This is the ONLY product other than Paula's lip balm that I can use on my son's chapped hands. He has very sensitive skin and every other product I have tried has resulted in screams of pain from him. This product goes on great, heals his skin without any stinging or tears! I also love it for my hands and feet. I wish I could have this on a subscription so I wouldn't forget to buy it before my current bottle runs out.

I just received a sample of this in my last order. It is my new favorite moisturizer for my hands. I wash my hands at work a lot with harsh soaps so it doesn't take much for them to become dry and cracked. I am constantly having to put lotion on them. Pauls's Body Butter is smooth and thick, but doesn't leave a greasy film on my hands. I am enjoying the natural chocolate scent, too. I'm going to be ordering some of this very soon!!

I have dry skin that gets drier in winter. In the past I've had problems with itching and dry patches but since I have started using Body Butter everyday both problems are gone and my skin looks and feels great. The effect lasts all day and and it has a nice chocolatey vanilla scent that isn't overpowering. Another reviewer noted that it is a bit pricey for daily use but let me tell you, it's well worth it. Try it, you won't be sorry.

I love this thick and luscious, chocolate scented butter! I mainly use it on any extra dry areas on my face, neck, or chest area at night- I apply over the Earth Sourced moistuirzer. In the morning, due to these cold dry winter days, I have been using this as my facial moisturizer to protect my delicate skin. It does a WONDERFUL job. My skin (seriously!) looks amazing. Please note that this dispenses very thick, but you need to gently rub it between your fingers first to warm it up- it then turns into more of a creamy lotion that it easy to spread (or tap on, which is what I prefer). Per some of the negative comments below regarding application- I don't think you should apply this just straight from the tube- it needs to be warmed up first so the consistency thins out a bit. I LOVE THIS, Paula. Kudos to you on your excellent products. I have been using several of them regulary and my skin has de-aged by about ten years. :)

I have never tried a body butter and use PC facial products. I really need and looked forward to trying this but if you have REALLY DRY skin as I do this is very hard to spread and won't last long at all which would get quite pricey. I've been using this product for years and don't know what I'd do without a tube of it on my nightstand. I put it on my hands and sometimes my feet every night. The best use I've found for it, though, is to heal the chapped cheeks that my son gets in the winter every time we travel for Christmas. Whenever his cheeks get dry and red, I apply some of this lotion before bed, and the redness is gone in the morning. He doesn't have eczema, just occasional dry skin, and it's perfect for that.

This cream is amazing and leaves my hands so silky smooth. Like other reviewers stated, it's not greasy or sticky. On the downside, much too thick for body cream, it would be gone in just a few days. Except for the hands and feet, it is very hard to rub in, especially on arms (hair). I have dry skin and use lotion after my morning shower. I will buy this again, but to use as hand and foot cream. Next I will try the slip into silk body lotion, it sounds better suited for my needs.

Paula has an amazing ability to create moisturizers that absorb so well and so quickly into skin that makes them so pleasant to use. Even this thick body butter doesn't leave a greasy film on your skin. I use this every night as a hand and elbow cream before going to bed. It doesn't make my hands stick to my sheets, it just gives them a pleasant, soft, nurturing feeling. My hands get very dry, especially during winter, plus I wash them a lot (probably too much) and this product helps keep my hands soft and lovely. Just as a comparison, I purchased another hand cream by a different brand that was recommended by Paula, and use it occasionally as a less expensive alternative to the body butter. It doesn't even come close in absorption or effectiveness.

I am so glad I finally tried this! I have been searching for a perfect hand cream for a very long time. I have tried sooooo many and now I have now found it! This is a staple for me...keep one at my desk at work and on my night stand at home. Love it!Please do not discontinue this Please don't.

I love this lotion. I paint my nails all the time - and the acetone can be drying to my fingers. This lotion smooths my cuticles and keeps my hands feeling supple and smooth after a manicure. It is very moisturizing and I personally LOVE the natural smell. It smells like almonds to me! I put it on before bed for all-night moisture.

I love this product. It works well with my aging skin that has a tendency to be oily and acne prone, but still needs lots of care. I live in a dry and hot desert climate so I started using it for dry patches on my abdomen. It soaks right in and locks the moisture in after a shower. It felt so good on my body, I tried it on my face and found excellent results! It doesn't make me break out, surprisingly...and helps with some of the side effects I get using prescription Retin-A. Also, it smells great, but it is unscented - so I know that what I'm smelling are the wonderful oils used to make this product. Yummy!

This is nice for sensitive skin but feels like it coats my skin more than hydrates it. Maybe I would have liked something more greasy. I do sometimes use it on my eczema prone toddler. It can be hard to get the last bit out of the tube, but I like the texture more than when it used to be in the tub. Customer Care Response: Thank you for your review. I love this stuff. It took me a little bit of time to get used to the packaging, but now I just make sure my hands are dry when I'm handling the tube, and I squeeze slowly so I only get a small amount at a time so I don't waste it. The tube is hygienic and helps the product last longer by keeping air out. The body butter has an extremely thick, rich consistency and smells heavenly from all the cocoa butter. Five stars all the way.
