Not good enough. Does not meet PC standards of moisturizing

Comments about CLINICAL Ultra-Rich Soothing Body Butter - 4 oz:
Not a fan. Too greasy and leaves skin shiny. I also need to reapply after every hand-washing. Aveeno has a better consistency and lasts longer on my skin.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I WILL NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN
By RICHARD THE SECOND

About Me Budget Buyer
I HAVE NEVER REALLY PAID ATTENTION TOO MUCH TO THE COMPAINTS OF THIS CREAM SMELLING BAD. BUT I GOT THIS TUBE AND OPENED IT UP , IT HAD A GOD AWFUL SMELL. IT REALLY DID SMELL OF A RANCID OIL SMELL. I DON'T THINK PUTTING ON RANCID OILS ARE TOO GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN. IT SEEMED LIKE IT HAD PAST ITS EXPIRATION DATE. I WILL NEVER BUY THIS BODY BUTTER AGAIN. ALSO MY HANDS DON'T SEEM TO BE MOISTURIZED BY IT.
Service and delivery comments:
DELIVERY IS ALWAYS EXCELLENT.
Perfect and Multipurpose
from Spokane, WA
This is just a perfect, rich moisturizer: a bargain buy eye cream, hand cream, hair balm, etc. Although it is small in size for an all-over body moisturizer, it is great to mix a small amount into a cheaper lotion to use head-to-toe. Personally, I use this as an eye cream day and night, as well as around any chapped or flaky areas on my face. I also scrunch a small amount into my hair instead of using conditioner (my hair it too fine and my skin is too breakout prone to use conditioner). I'm so happy I finally made this purchase.
Delivery was extremely fast, even in horrible weather.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
great body butter

About Me Brand Buyer
Very good body butter, absorbs well when using after shower but would like it to come in a larger size please!
from hyde park ny
I've had several tubes of this over the years but I didn't get too excited about it until recently. My first few tubes I didn't use up very quickly, because as an all over body treatment, I just didn't enjoy using this product. It's a bit thick for head to toe use. Well, fast forward to this winter when my combo face skin dried out like the Sahara desert. I didn't really have any "dry" skin products on hand as I always purchased products appropriate for my combo skin. But I did have this one and I began using it religiously on my red and tight cheeks as a sort of overnight moisture mask. And shockingly with my acne prone skin, I have had absolutely no increase in breakouts. In fact, I think I've had less. I've since purchased this product's baby brother facial version, which is a tad more creamy and just a tad more easily spread but otherwise, this wonderfully priced product for the body is perfect for parched skin on the face.

Body Butter Smells AWFUL !
from Paris, France
I have used this twice but cannot use it again. I cannot really comment on the efficacy of the cream because as soon as I put it on, all I could think was I could not leave it on due to the awful, rancid oil smell. It smells like nuts or oil that has gone bad. I tried it a second time, hoping against hope I could tolerate it, but what a waste of money. I am very discouraged. This is the second rancid product I have received from Paula's Choice. I am in Europe until March, so I cannot even return it. Good thing I am a regular customer because if this had been one of my first few products, I would never be back!
Works very well, but..
from Vancouver, Canada
This works very, VERY well. It moisturizes, softens and hydrates. I leave it on overnight and my skin that flakes looks like baby's skin. And it even lasts for the entire day after. However...It is very greasy and doesn't absorb well if at all. Imagine spreading cooking oil on your skin.It also doesn't spread very well. Especially when its cold. The formula needs a little more water. So I recommend that you use this only on places where you don't mind having that greasy feeling, and to use this at night before bed, so it doesn't irritate you.
Sad to say it's my first review...
from Halifax, NS, Canada
Being a loyal PC user since early 2000's it's sad that this is my first review, BUT should also show how much I love this product lol.Received it free with a special offer order, didn't think I'd like it due to its thickness and heaviness...boy was I wrong! Fellow hairstylist out there, this will save your hands, especially in cold winter months. But where this gem impressed me the most was... I use CLINICAL 1% Retinol Treatment once and week because that's all my skin can tolerate... one night I decide to try it 2x a week and I think I also used too much...anyhow within day 2...my entire forehead (very temperamental) broke out in red itchy bumps....I'm assuming cosmetic dermatitis... anyhow I laid off any tropicals for that area and needed a good moisturizer for the area without irritation... BAM there comes this gem.....soothed it upon impact!...... few days later all is clear and I'm still using it in the area mixed with a little wet hands to thin it out.Thank you so much Paula for saving my skin :)
IT COULD BE BETTER
I'VE USED THIS BUTTER FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. AND IT IS AN OKAY PRODUCT, I DO THINK IT COULD BE IMPROVED. MY HANDS ACTUALLY DO NOT FEEL THAT MOSITURIZED AFTER USING THIS. IT IS VERY, VERY THICK WHICH FEELS UNCONFORTABLE ON THE SKIN. I DON'T SEE HOW PEOPLE COULD LOVE IT SO MUCH. I THINK THE PREVIOUS BUTTER WAS BETTER. MY HANDS NEED MORE MOISTURE AND I WOULD PREFER A MUCH LIGHTER TEXTURE, I AM GOING BACK TO AVEENO HAND CREAM. SORRY, BUT THAT'S THE TRUTH.
from Dallas, TX
I use it mostly for my hands and feet when they get too dry
