Comments about RESIST Skin Revealing 10% AHA Lotion - 7 oz:
I wanted an AHA lotion for my extra dry sun spots that I have acquired on my arms and legs after years of poorly protected sun exposure. I first tried a somewhat cheaper (but not cheap) drugstore AHA body lotion. This lotion did nothing more than moisturize my skin. That in itself isn't a negative, but I was purchasing it for more than that. The extra cost does not warrant a repurchase for that quality alone when there are cheaper and just as effective products available. I have since tried and become a devoted user of Paula's Choice RESIST Skin Revealing Body Lotion With 10% AHA. Since I've switched, those itchy and dry sun spots have abated. What once were red and noticeable spots on my arms and legs are now virtually non-existent. I don't particularly like the "unscented" scent of this lotion, but it's mild and I usually top it off with a scented lotion of my liking.

About Me Budget Buyer
When I originally bought this AHA lotion, I wanted to use it as a face moisturizer. I got both the BHA and the AHA version of this lotion and I alternated them every day on my face, and they felt nice but I didn't really notice much change in my skin. (That isn't to say it wasn't doing something, I just never personally noticed any change!) However, winter came along and my body started feeling more and more dry. So, I finally decided to start using it as it is intended - as a body lotion, and WOW. I have never felt softer, smoother skin within days of using one product. I've always been someone that used physical exfoliation with homemade sugar scrubs, which I still enjoy using from time to time, but this is easier, quicker to use, less messy and none of them have ever eliminated the white bumps on my body quicker than this lotion has. My only complaint is that the bottle is a bit small for an all over body, every night lotion. I feel like I'm going to run out pretty quickly. But if you're a bit sensitive to chemical exfoliants and want to use this as a weekly treatment, or if you are planning on using this as a face moisturizer(which I still recommend, even though I said I didn't personally see a huge difference), then the size of the bottle won't be much of an issue for you. This product has shown me what I have been missing from my body skincare routine! Regular lotions just don't do what this lotion does. I highly, highly recommend.
WOW! Soft knees and elbows
from San Francisco
My horrible rough knees and elbows are gone! I simply can't believe I went around for years with scale-y elbows and now they look normal.

Chose this for treatment of KP
About Me Beauty Conscious
I had been using the Resist Weightless 2% BHA body exfoliant for a few years for treating my KP, which works well on some areas of the body, just not all areas, which I assume is due to the difference in skin texture in different areas. The last time I placed an order, I noticed that the 2% wasn't really being marketed as a KP treatment any longer, but the 10% AHA was instead. So... I decided to order the 10% AHA instead. Well, I continued to use the rest of my supply of 2% BHA before finally pulling the 10% AHA out of the closet and giving it a try. Hate it. It's greasy, has a slight odor that I'm not crazy about, but worst of all is that it stings, quite a bit actually, particularly after a shave or on any blemish areas. The sting does subside after a few minutes, but it's definitely not pleasant.

Good KP Treatment
from NSW, Australia
I have struggled with KP for years. This is the only product I have found that has significantly reduced irritation when used consistently in combination with other lifestyle practices. I absolutely love it and it is an essential in my beauty bag.

Reduces Problems With Ingrown Hairs
from Dallas/FortWorth, Texas
I love this product for its stated purposes but have found that it has also reduced the frequency of ingrown hairs near the bikini area. I wouldn't use this product right after you shave, as it could burn/sting. I wait a day or so after I wax or shave before using it. It's a great multi-tasker!

Nice body lotion, didn't control KP

About Me Minimalist
Paula's Choice Resist Skin Revealing 10% AHA Body Lotion is a light-weight translucent lotion. It is fragrance free, but with a short-lived scent that is typical of AHA-containing cosmetics, ie, a bit like vinegar. I love the texture, which is elegant, smooth and silky. It is easy to apply due to a high amount of slip, soaks in quickly, and leaves a skin-protecting barrier without feeling greasy. It is miles better than AmLactin on every point, and is somewhat like having my favorite CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion with the added punch of AHA. It is important to note that this product should not be applied to cracked, chapped or broken skin, because it will burn. When used on healthy skin, I did not have any irritation issues.I originally purchased this product for the KP on my upper arms. After several months of daily use, there was some minor progress in eliminating the little bumps, and the skin on my upper arms otherwise was very soft and well hydrated. I switched to using a different AHA product for my KP, and started using Resist as a night-time hand cream instead. It definitely has softened my hands, evened out the skin texture and improved the roughness around my knuckles. I have found it is a bit too light for moisturizing very dry hands, but I don't see any issues with occasionally layering a more emollient cream on top. Although I haven't tried it as an all-over body lotion, I have no doubt it would be wonderful for skin tending normal to slightly dry. Overall, I think Resist 10% AHA body lotion is a winner, although it is somewhat less versatile than I had hoped due to less than desired effect on my KP. I would definitely consider it for repurchase, because I haven't found anything else like it for quality of formulation and value.

never write reviews but this stuff is amazing!
By Sam's choice
I never, ever write a review but must about this product. I absolute hate, hate any heavy, greasy lotion. This lotion is a beauty. It is so lightweight that I kept adding more of it and it just sinks in! NO heaviness. The size and price of this product is excellent; this means I can wear it twice a day and see the results I am looking for. I usually don't recommend a product but I do for this one. Try it!

I've been using this product 3X/week since it was first released. AHA works better for my fair, sensitive skin than BHA, and this product never fails to leave my skin noticeably softer and smoother all year round. I use it alone or mixed with PC Body Butter or Spray Oil on drier areas.
