Comments about RESIST Skin Revealing 10% AHA Lotion - 7 oz:
Let me start by saying that I don't have any skin conditions so I didn't purchase this for anything other than preventative maintenance. I'm mainly insterested in the anti aging and smoothing claims of this lotion, which obviously take a long time to really see. I like it enough to wait that out. I have been using it every night after the shower for probably about 2 months. To be honest, I haven't seen any differences yet, but as I said, the things I want this for can't be seen overnight. Face value, it absorbs quickly and it's really easy to appy with no greasiness. The only thing I don't like is the smell. It doesn't "stink," but it kind smells like raisins lol. It isn't overwhelming and doesn't stick around so it isn't a reason not to purchase it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Wanted to love it but I'm allergic to it :( !!

About Me Budget Buyer
I gave this 4 stars because I'm sure it is an amazing product without a question, for most people!!! I wanted to love this so much for my KP since the 2% BHA Body was really helping. I'm sure it is an amazing product but I had an allergic reaction to this. I know that I'm not allergic to glycolic acid or any of the very many PC products that I have tried & used daily. I developed tiny red itchy bumps all over all areas that I used this cream within a few hours of first use. I continued to use it thinking/hoping my skin was just adjusting to the AHA....but no...still have this itchy red rash after using every other day on and off for 4 weeks. After the 4 weeks/last night I put it on an area that I had never used it (chest) that is well adjusted to retinol 1% & differin cream, and I ended up with the same rash there within a couple of hours. I should have done the chest test at the first sign of reaction. I used it repeatedly because there were no reports of allergic reactions to it in the reviews and because I've never been allergic to any PC products. I have requested a refund/exchange/credit through the website, earlier today.

I used it one time at bedtime on my keratosis pilaris. Woke up the next day and my skin is considerably softer and less red. After just one use! I'm amazed. And I didn't use a large amount either so this bottle is going to last awhile.

I have TERRIBLE KP. I have had it my entire life. It is hereditary in my family. I have tried almost everything, OTC and Rx. This is by far the best product out there for KP. I put it on before I go to bed and after showers. I try to manually exfoliate with an exfoliating glove in the shower first and then I apply when I get out of the shower. I love this product and it definitely works the best.

it really works in even the skin tone and color and also softening the dry areas.

Great on the face!

I usually use the BHA for body but recently bought the AHA version when I became pregnant and didn't want to wear BHA's. I didn't notice much difference on my body, but when I had persistent flakiness on my forehead that just wouldn't go away (no matter how much BHA I used or how strong the formula) I gave the AHA a try. I was amazed that the flakiness was gone the next morning! Finally, I have a product I can use to help my foundation sit better on my skin! I use it only on my forehead because I have rosacea and don't want to irritate my sensitive cheeks, but this is a winner for me! I suppose I could order a regular AHA for the face but I really love the creaminess of this lotion, and it saves me a step in my night time routine.

Nice Body Lotion
from Stevens Point, WI
I bought this when I was looking for a body exfoliant moisturizer but the BHA one was out of stock. I use it once or twice a week after I shower. It is nice and hydrating and seems to make my skin brighter. It spreads easily and it doesn't take much to get your whole body hydrated. For a special treat in the evenings after I shower I put this lotion on my feet and then put some socks on. It feels gross at the time but in the morning my feet are so smooth, it definitely has made my callouses less gross. My only complaint is the packaging and the smell. I wish it came in a pump bottle or a flip-top squeeze bottle. It can by tricky to screw the cal back on when I'm all lotion-y. The smell is kind of gross and chemically.

I have purchased for the purpose of unification of skin color .. as are the promises mentioned in the product descriptionBut I did not find any change! But this does not mean it's not a good moisturizer and improves the appearance of the skin.

Nice Exfoliant, Doesn't do much for KP
from New York, NY
I use this on my arms and chest for exfoliation and repair of sun damage, and I think for that purpose it works really well. I have KP on my upper arms and it calms the redness and softens my skin but the bumps don't really go away. So it HELPS but it doesn't work as well as something like AmLactin (which I stopped using because of the smell).. This product however is MUCH more pleasant to use! I use this treatment first and follow with the clinical body butter and my skin is noticeably softer almost overnight. I'm going to try the Salicylic acid body treatment to compare, but if the AHA works well for your skin, this is a nice product.

Nice but has not done anything to my dry skin
10% AHA is supposed to work for dry skin and improves it moister level even when the product is not in use. But so far the skin on my neck, arms and leg is still dry and the horizontal lines on my neck are still there. I had those lines since I was probably 15. Tiny skin colored bumps are there too.I know researches say AHA encourages collagen production so it should be good for the neck especially. The good things about it: it has 10% glycolic acid, the texture is silky and nice and it has no scent. The not so great things: it contains silicones. I would definitely give this product a two year chance.
