Comments about SKINCARE APPLICATOR for Back & Body - Applicator:
I use this to apply exfoliant and lotion to my poor neglected back. It's reducing spots from too many sunburns.

Make sure to stick the pad to the right end
from Dallas, TX
The first time I used this, I didn't like it. If I pushed too hard, the handle would bend backwards, and I'd have to snap it back. It did a better job that my hands, so I continued to use it for a two months, washing the pad every other use will fragrance-free soap. After those couple of months, I decided it was time to change the pad. I soaked the pad in water, and tried to peel the pad off like the instructions said; but it would not come off! I panicked and ripped off as much as I could. It was rendered useless to me because there were bits of sticky padding that seemed impossible to get off. I then shoved the applicator in the back of my closet, and forgot about it.About a week ago, I began spring cleaning and decluttering my toiletries and beauty products. I came upon a pack of replacement pads for the applicator. I didn't want to throw them away, so I attempted to clean off the remaining pad still on the applicator. I soaked that thing in pure acetone for about an hour. I wore cleaning gloves, and peeled off the sticky glue with kitchen scraper. It was FINALLY off! Then I realized that I had placed the pad on the wrong end of the applicator this whole time! Make sure to place the pad at the end where the Paula's Choice label is. The applicator contours to my back significantly better. Here's hoping this pad will come off much easier.

I've had a cheapie version of this gadget years ago. I thought PC would surely be several steps up in functionality, but not really. I guess it works if you are not very impaired in your "reach", but isn't that the whole point? I know someone could engineer one of these so much better. Surely! My input:- have 2-3 notches to vary the angle of the applicator- use a very soft short bristle brush to get product into skin- a longer handle to further facilitate those of us with bad shouldersI would gladly pay more for one of these that really worked.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I've had the cheapie version of these years ago and I thought the PC option would surely be an improvement. But really, it's not much better. Someone could most certainly "invent" one of these that would help those of us with limited range of motion. My suggestions:Several notches to allow for different anglesTelescoping function to extend the lengthA very soft washable brush applicator to allow a better rub-in of creams or lotionsMany of us would pay a little more for one of these gadgets that would actually work!

Great tattoo care
By Tamara M.
I bought this applicator in anticipation of my getting a tattoo on my back, between my shoulder blades. I am an Esthetician who does micro pigmentation, so I understand how important aftercare is for maintaining the look of your new ink. This works fantastic. It is soft so it doesn't irritate, and holds just the right amount of liquid and is not drippy. It also feels great at the point the tattoo begins to itch while healing - cleansing gently of course!I use all Paulas Choice products.

Compact, easy to use. Worth it to get to my dry back where my bra rubs!

I love this thing. It is the perfect design for reaching your back. It curves just right so the pad lies flat against your skin, and the handle has a textured surface so it won't slip form your hand. It folds shut, which means it can be stored easily and you can also travel with it conveniently. Very lightweight and the pads don't suck up all the product, so you actually get the lotion onto your back. Love it. I can finally moisturize my upper back.

I have been relying on my husband or my daughter to help me apply treatments to my back. I no longer need help. The slight curve of the wand allows for just the right amount of pressure during application, from both the top or the bottom of my back. After I slightly dampen the pad with water, I put a little lotion across the top of my shoulder blades and use the wand to spread it around. The lotion is now on the pad and I apply it to the bottom my back. This really is the best little product!

I've tried a couple of different applicators and this one is by far the best. My only issue is that one end should be a handle because holding onto a paddle end is awkward and can be slippery. But overall that's a minor drawback and you can't beat the price.
Inexpensive and works well.

I was pleasantly surprised by this purchase: this is easy to use and works very well to apply lotion to the back. Another reviewer stated that the pad absorbs product, but I do not find that to be true. However, I do wish the pad were a bit larger. Overall, this is a great bargain, and really does get at hard-to-reach spaces (hello, shoulder blades!).
