Another great Paula product

Comments about Resist C15 Super Booster - 0.67 oz:
I am a long time user of Paulas Choice.I don't understand the harsh/hateful comments about this or any product. This is a simple serum that I add to my other serum. They both glide on together beautifully, I use it day and night, it is not sticky or smell, you just let it absorb into your skin and enjoy it's benefits, patience is helpful..I get so many compliments on my much troubled skin when I was younger. Paulas products are priced so economical, if one product doesn't work, move on, try another...So tired of all the Haters out there.. NOT every produce works for every skin type.... I'm online to purchase another bottle.....
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Hate the bottle and the texture
About Me Beauty Conscious
Hate the bottle, would prefer a pump- at least it would be spill proof.Too runny. Although I mix it into another serum or cream, I'd prefer something thicker. Don't like the texture, it adds a feeling of a caked-on stickiness or heaviness that feels gross and makes me want to wash my face. Haven't used it long enough to see results. I have faith that it works, but I'll find a C serum elsewhere.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Try different PC products and apply different techniques
By C. Mercado-Rocha

About Me Beauty Learner
I have been using PC products for more than seven years.Last year I started using the Resist C15 Super Booster at least twice a week. Some weeks I interchanged between the C15 product and Resist Remarkable Skin Lightening Lotion with 7% AHA. I noticed that the product with the hydroquinone faded my brown spots faster compared to C15 product. But I noticed that little red veins were appearing next to my brown spots. Maybe I am too sensitive to the hydroquinone ingredient. Two weeks ago I decided to use ONLY the C15 daily but I also saw that more little vines were appearing and more pronounced than before. I then decided to use the C15 only on my brown spots instead of the entire face. I am seeing good results. Right now my brown spots are less visible. I will continue this technique hoping to see better results.

I spend so much time trying to fight the acne, it never occurred to me to I could be doing something about the awful red marks and discolorations they've left on my skin. I made the mistake of attacking some cysts which left my skin in worse condition than I started with. I applied C15 booster with the Resist BHA 9 and it began to heal my skin immediately turning angry pus filled wounds into scabs overnight. I'm not a fan of the Paula's choice portion/price ratio but this stuff works so I guess I'll just have to swallow it and pay up. There have been complaints about the smell - but it's actually slightly floral like orange blossom oil.

About Me Beauty Conscious, Beauty Expert
Let me start by saying I have tried many different brands of vitamin C serum (L-Ascorbic Acid) and PC has slam dunked its stability without adding bad ingredients to do so. The bottle is designed in such a way it limits not only the light, as most manufactures of Ascorbic Acid do, but PC took it a step further designing a bottle opening that limits excessive light and air. Aside from the bottle design and product stability, the ingredients are also very good. Although I'm not so sure about Octapeptide-3 (Snap) given its minimal research--makes me nervous! I think I would prefer to see Matrixyl (I don't think this has copper in it?). Overall the texture is smooth and spreads decently but does require more than the suggested 4 drops. It takes 8 drops for me to completely cover my face, including under my chin area. Some people have noted the smell. Yes, it does have a bit of a chemical smell to it but no different than a very popular overly priced brand I know of. I would personally prefer the bad smell rather then have PC add more ingredients just to cover it up. The big question is, does it work? I wish I could answer this question but I've been using Ascorbic Acid Serum for some time now so it is unlikely I will see any changes from PC's brand from my previous brand (also very good). This is just continued daily preventative care for me. Does it burn on contact? PC C Serum does not burn nor cause my skin to tingle. It appears to be quite gentle but everyone's skin is different.

Made a slight difference on dark spots
By micellar water

About Me Beauty Conscious, Minimalist
I bought this for my age spots and freckles that were starting to show. While there was a slight difference, the time and effort it took to get those results weren't worth it. It comes in a dropper bottle, so you squeeze one drop into your hand and apply it to your face. It can get messy. It doesn't have the greatest smell. After a while, it starts to change color and become less effective so don't use it sparingly. It didn't cause any acne, and I'm extremely acne-prone, but it didn't help with acne or acne scars either. If you're getting this for dark spots, I'd pass and get the Resist 25% Vitamin C Spot Treatment.

A very good serum
By Shiny Girl
from San Jose, CA
I ordered a trial size of this serum and was able to use it for a week. I really like the consistency (water like) and the fact it doesn't leave tacky feeling on my skin. I have very oily skin, so I appreciate very light textured products. After a week, I noticed a little brightening of my skin (I have freckles). I didn't break out (none of the PC products I tried made me breakout, so thank you :-). The reason why I put only 4 stars is that I found this product very similar to 100pure Vitamin C serum, and the latter is cheaper. All in all ,it is a good product.

Love this product!!
I use this vitamin c mixed with any serum but have great results mixing with Resist retinol serum. Love it! My skin looks clear and bright. Redness has diminished significantly! Will purchase again.

I can't speak for results yet but I can say, it feels good, there is no noticeable smell and the little thing inside the bottle that kind of acts like a squeegy to wipe the dropper off a bit when you take it out of the bottle, is really nice. It does make your skin tingle when you apply it; I would imagine that some people might call it a slight tingle or burn, but it does NOT last but a few seconds. I've read nothing but positive things about adding Vit C to your skin care routine so I'm sure, in the end, this product will be a great addition to my skin care routine. WARNING: when you buy it, USE IT; don't let it sit because once it oxidizes (I have read numerous reviews on various Vit C products) and turns a bright yellow, it is no longer effective. Oxidation takes approx 3 months to happen.
Makes my skin glow!

About Me Beauty Expert
I mix this into my Paula's Choice antioxidant serum in the AM and into my Paula's Choice Earth Naturals moisturizer at night. It's only been a few days and this has dramatically changed my skin for the better. I am less red, irritated, and have a glow to my skin. I have post-blemish marks that have been pretty stubborn, however I have high hopes to have the marks improve. With what has already happened with my skin, it is well worth the investment even if they don't fade entirely. A very sweet woman told me today that my skin was glowing at my neighborhood coffee shop, so it's not just my perception!
