Diminished unknown raised rough skin bump on décolletage!
About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about RESIST 25% Vitamin C Spot Treatment - 0.5 oz:
This product was used to diminish a small rough bump of skin that had appeared on my chest. I thought it was a keloid scar, but maybe it was a wart?? I was going to see a dermatologist about it, but I tried it and noticed right away that it started to dry out the area. Then with dedicated application once a night the area become more dry and just shrunk away! I've now been applying all over my face. Or on a variety of blemishes just to see what happens. On zits, little red spider veins etc. I'll update if I notice anything remarkable.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Helps with hyperpigmentation if you apply it early enough
About Me Skin Care Professional
I use this for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and I've found that the trick to using it is to apply it WHILE the pimple is forming. I like to think that you're catching it before all the damage is done i.e. prevention. Older marks don't seem to be affected by this at all unfortunately, hence only 4 stars. But, it's still one of the most effective treatments for reducing pigmentation, so I highly recommend trying it out.

Worked to fade spots!
By Russian Beauty
from New York, New York
First of all, I love Paula's and absolutely swear by her products! I've been eyeing her skin lighteners for a while now because I have some sun spots from when I was younger and didn't wear sunscreen. Nothing dramatic but I still want them gone if possible. I started using this product morning and night after my antioxidant serum and retinol but before sunscreen. In addition to putting this on my spots, I also applied it to a pigmented scar on my wrist. The scar has visibly faded after about 3 weeks use and one sun spot is 90% reduced. The other few small freckley spots didn't change dramatically though I think they faded too a bit. I'm astonished that one spot is almost gone though! That alone makes this purchase worth it. And what it has done for my scar is fantastic too. I'll order this again in hopes that it can fade my other spots better and maybe completely eliminate that reduced spot. As with all Paula's products, this is a great purchase! If in doubt get the trial size.

Brown Spots Did not Go Away
from Mill Creek, WA
I've been using Paula's Choice products for over 15 years and I love them!!!!! My skin is great, however, I have brown spots that I focus on. I've tried every one of Paula's products that claim to dimish brown spots and for me, none have worked. I've used them for months and months with no success. I will continue to use all the other products that I love that have aided me in having better skin today than in my 20's.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Powerful Vit C Treatment--Unique!
from San Francisco, CA
About Me Minimalist
I bought this to primarily treat deep established wrinkles--and the jury is still put for that; BUT I seen a big improvement, in 4 weeks of usage, in pigmentation of my skin overall, and a couple of 20-30 year old acne discoloration spots have literally vanished, and a large discoloration from a shingles outbreak has dramatically faded, all by applying this cream nightly. Cream is a unique "dry" formulation and sinks in immediately, as it is water based and not oil based. Therefore it doesn't go far, making this truly expensive. Nonetheless, it really can be effective for certian problems, and since there is nothing else like it on the market, I give it a hearty thumbs up!

Irritated my skin
from Calgary, AB
I tired this product hoping to help sun damage. Unfortunately it caused my skin to sting and burn. I thought maybe I was using too much or too often as my skin can be sensitive but even with limited use it still badly irritated my skin. I gave this product a decent amount of time to try as I really wanted this product to work for me. I am disappointed that I will be wasting the rest of the product especially at the price. I love Paula's products, just not this one.

Acne Red Spot Miracle
from Fort Wayne, IN
I have pretty much figured how how to control my acne, I hardly ever get even a pimple anymore but I had good sized red marks on my cheek that have been there for a year now that won't go away. I know they aren't necessarily scars because the skin texture hasn't changed, only the color. I tried so many home remedies and a few products but nothing worked. After 3 weeks of using this spot treatment the results are amazing. The spots are still there because it hasn't even been a month but the difference is incredible. I use it twice a day after I wash my face and put on my acne cream. If you have red marks from previous acne, this is for sure the product to use. Also, after you put it on and let it dry, make-up goes on easy and it doesn't peel off or get flaky. I highly recommend this product.
Packs a punch against dark spots!
I use this spot treatment product every night in combination with the retinol booster to fight wrinkles and to fade several dark sun spots on my face. I always place the booster in my gel moisturizer, let it set for at least 10 minutes, and then I go back to spot treat with the vitamin C by patting it into my trouble areas. I noticed the extra wait time helps a lot so that the treatment does not ball up - I also think if too much is used it balls up as well. I learned that a little goes a long way with this product! I have seen dramatic improvements in just about two months of consistent use. I feel like the combination of products is what works best for my problematic skin!

I really liked the texture which seemed to dry to a powdery soft finish. I would love a foundation with this finish. Also suggestion on making a loose powder spf 50 product. I have tried brands with the brush at the end of the container but it doesn't dispense well so a loose powder would be nice. Stop the spots before you get them with a loose powder spf product. I gave a neutral rating because I think this product may be for those with lighter spots and I have very dark ones. But I use other PC products which I love.

Great in Combination Treatment
from Carle Place, NY
I found a skin care routine that works for me, however I deviated from the routine about 3 months ago. As a result, I got 2 large cysts that have left post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) on my cheek and nose. I noticed a mild difference the first week after I used Vitamin C 25% spot treatment along. Then after the first week, I added 4% hydroquinone (HQ) prescription prior to applying the Vitamin C. Then my scars actually got a bit darker I believe from HQ irritation. However, after about 3 days, I started rubbing in the vitamin C (instead of dabbing) and my skin acclimated to the HQ. Finally the combination treatment started lightening my PIH. Now I notice significant improvement from 2 weeks use, from adding the HQ after one week, and rubbing vs. dabbing the Vitamin C. I think in 1 month, I will no longer need to use concealer on those 2 spots and can hopefully be make-up free for the summer.
