work for postacne marks
from Dallas, TX
About Me Beauty Expert
Comments about RESIST 25% Vitamin C Spot Treatment - 0.5 oz:
I didn't noticed any difference in my brown spots, but it helps with fresh acne marks. I'm very fair skin person and every occasional spot leaves behind a very red mark, no matter it was pop out or not. This stuff cut the recovery time to two-three weeks, when before it was taking month to disappear. I apply it every evening on the marks as my last step in routine.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Beauty Conscious
I really liked this product, not sure why everyone says it dries pasty or whatever. You dab it on but make sure its absorbed into the skin. Dont leave excess on your skin. I had a few acne scars on my face, and after applying it twice daily on my skin for 2 weeks I noticed it visibly lightened. After 2-3 months, it disappeared. I later combined this with bha 9 and vitamin c boost but honestly this is the product that i used daily. Also, make sure if you apply it during the day to use sunscreen with a strong spf as vitamin c will make your skin more sensitive to the sun. No sunscreen means your skin may get worse. I honestly love this product and cant rave enough about it to friends and family. My aunt who noticed my improved skin has even remarked on it and now is ordering one too.

I Wanted it to Work
from Boston, MA
About Me Minimalist
I have been using this treatment for over three month every other night as dark spot treatment. I have a few dark sun spots on my cheekbones and under one eye. This product has not improved their appearance at all. As other reviewers mentioned it is chalky and sometimes doesn't play well with other products - it curdles/clumps. Please note that in addition to this I also use resist serum and brightening treatment. Alas, my spots are here to stay, and my money's been wasted yet again. General thoughts:After trying a lot of Paula's products (treatments and oily/combo stuff ) I have decided to stick only with Resist and try nothing else, because it really really works for my skin, which is normal/oily in the summer and spring and normal/dry in the winter.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not sure about the texture
Hi, the color of the cream is white and texture a bit dry which is surprising. It becomes a tad powdery/mattefying after applying onto face . Is this expected ? I feel like I've bought the wrong product. I was expecting the texture to be wetter since the description of the product includes hydrating .

I tried this product to get rid of an acne scar from years ago on my nose. I've used this for a couple months with no difference and it actually makes me break out. Wish it worked!

Diminished unknown raised rough skin bump on décolletage!
This product was used to diminish a small rough bump of skin that had appeared on my chest. I thought it was a keloid scar, but maybe it was a wart?? I was going to see a dermatologist about it, but I tried it and noticed right away that it started to dry out the area. Then with dedicated application once a night the area become more dry and just shrunk away! I've now been applying all over my face. Or on a variety of blemishes just to see what happens. On zits, little red spider veins etc. I'll update if I notice anything remarkable.

Helps with hyperpigmentation if you apply it early enough
About Me Skin Care Professional
I use this for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and I've found that the trick to using it is to apply it WHILE the pimple is forming. I like to think that you're catching it before all the damage is done i.e. prevention. Older marks don't seem to be affected by this at all unfortunately, hence only 4 stars. But, it's still one of the most effective treatments for reducing pigmentation, so I highly recommend trying it out.

Worked to fade spots!
By Russian Beauty
from New York, New York
First of all, I love Paula's and absolutely swear by her products! I've been eyeing her skin lighteners for a while now because I have some sun spots from when I was younger and didn't wear sunscreen. Nothing dramatic but I still want them gone if possible. I started using this product morning and night after my antioxidant serum and retinol but before sunscreen. In addition to putting this on my spots, I also applied it to a pigmented scar on my wrist. The scar has visibly faded after about 3 weeks use and one sun spot is 90% reduced. The other few small freckley spots didn't change dramatically though I think they faded too a bit. I'm astonished that one spot is almost gone though! That alone makes this purchase worth it. And what it has done for my scar is fantastic too. I'll order this again in hopes that it can fade my other spots better and maybe completely eliminate that reduced spot. As with all Paula's products, this is a great purchase! If in doubt get the trial size.

Brown Spots Did not Go Away
from Mill Creek, WA
I've been using Paula's Choice products for over 15 years and I love them!!!!! My skin is great, however, I have brown spots that I focus on. I've tried every one of Paula's products that claim to dimish brown spots and for me, none have worked. I've used them for months and months with no success. I will continue to use all the other products that I love that have aided me in having better skin today than in my 20's.
