Doubles as a lightweight moisturizer

Comments about RESIST Replenishing Toner - 4 oz:
I use this product less like a toner and more like a way to apply some of the Paula's Choice boosters, including the C Booster, the Hyaluronic acid booster and the moisture booster. I put a few drops of product in my hand and then add a few drops of this toner, and it really allows me to evenly and easily apply my serums and oils. Sometimes I use a foundation that doesn't seem to work well with a lot of moisturizers or even foundation primers, but this toner is great for prepping the skin so that there's no residue. It's an absolute must for me and I'm never without it.

My oily skin moisturizer
from Rhinebeck NY
About Me Minimalist
I've tried this during the winter months several times over the years and I always really liked it. But alas, it was just a bit too much for my oily skin for daily use. Well, skin changes and my dryer areas are more dry and my oily areas are still oily but also weirdly dehydrated looking. Since I am prone to breakouts, I can't just rush into using thick moisturizers or oils. So, I decided to give this one a try as a replacement for my regular PC moisturizer for oily skin. And I'm glad I did. Sometimes I use it as a toner right after cleansing, and it's a thick enough (near serum like texture) product to be applied to my dry areas only if I don't think it's needed on my oily areas. Even better, I love mixing a few drops (and yes, it's super easy to dispense only a few drops of this product) of this with the Calm Serum. It gives me just enough of a moisture boost to make my skin less dull and tired looking while not so much that I feel greasy. I've been using this product religiously for three months now and I think it will become a new staple. As a replacement for my "oily skin" moisturizer and a booster product for my favorite serum, this product is a great bargain!

I guess I have more sensitive skin...
from Athens, AL
First off, I can't say this is a BAD product. I'm just thinking it's not best for me. I didn't notice any change while using it until my skin started stinging after putting it on. So, like others, at first it was fine and then noticed the stinging after using it a while. My skin is mostly dry, with some areas that are slightly oily and break out some with hormones or if I'm not being diligent with my skincare routine. I recently got some weird patches of uneven patchy skin that confused me since I normally just deal with breakouts of dry, flaky skin. Which made me pay more attention to what I put on my face... which, in turn, made me realize the toner stung upon application.... so I guess I need something for more sensitive skin. I used Recovery Toner before and noticed no positives or negatives, which means it was probably working! So will go back to that. I am using toner these days to make sure I got all my makeup/grime/cleanser off after cleansing.Only reason I wouldn't recommend is because I didn't have a positive experience. But may be totally different based on your skin! I am not a pro by any means.

Lightweight moisture for summer months
from Toronto, Ontario, Canada
This toner has replaced my moisturizer during the summer months, when my skin is not so dry but still feels tight after cleansing. I apply it mornings after splashing my face with water, and evenings after cleansing. I don't bother with the cotton pad--I apply it with my fingertips so I don't waste a drop. It has a lovely, milky consistency that absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling absolutely divine.

About Me Beauty Conscious
I ordered this a few months ago because the Skin Recovery toner was out of stock. It was OK, but I much prefer the Skin Recovery. My main use for it is after washing my face to remove any last traces of makeup. I don't expect to repurchase unless the Skin Recovery toner is out of stock. FYI, I have severely dry skin with rosacea. (The dry skin is from taking Accutane thirty years ago.) This product probably works better for those whose skin isn't so dry.

I have combo/oily skin in the summer & dry skin in the winter. I started using this in maybe May. I had used toners in the past but gave them up because I never found one that I was thrilled with. This formula is a milky consistency and is smoothing & cooling. I just purchased my second bottle. A little also goes a long way and my bottle lasted several months. I feel as if it really does 'tone' my skin and help it look smooth and even.

Best toner yet!
I have tried a lot of toners. I am a bit of a product junky, but this one is by far my favorite. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft. I use this morning and night.
I've been using this for about a week now and I've noticed that my skin burns badly after applying this, and my skin continues to burn when I apply other products after it. I don't have sensitive skin at all, never did. This is the second product I've tried from Paula's Choice that irritated my skin unfortunately.

This toner is seriously amazing
By Skincare Junkie
from Tulsa, OK
This toner is amazing. It has a milky texture but goes on very light. I love love love it! I have oily skin so I actually use this as my moisturizer and it works for me. My skin can be sensitive sometimes and flush if it doesn't like a product but this never irritates it, even around my eyes! I am also very prone to breakouts but this does not break me out so I'm very pleased with this product!

The missing piece!
from Frisco, TX
I have oily/combination skin that is acne prone without a diligent skin care regime, but being in my early 30's, I am starting to want to prevent signs of aging and some areas are prone to dryness. I found that the sunscreens/moisturizers made for oily/combo skin tended to be not quite moisturizing *enough*, but the heavier products could cause breakouts. I never bothered with toners before because I used the 2% BHA liquid daily and it seemed redundant or pointless.I sampled this product and was so impressed with the feel on my skin that I decided to try it. Little did I know this was EXACTLY what I was missing in my skin care routine. It is especially nice in the mornings. I exfoliate first, then apply this toner as a lightweight layer of moisture that preps it for my sun screen beautifully. It's even gentle and lovely under the eyes. I can now use the more mattifying sunscreens again (which I prefer) without feeling "parched" at the end of the day. I still use a more moisturizing SPF on my neck and undereye area, but this is PERFECT as a lightweight moisture boost under sun screen if you have oily/combo skin. My skin feels softer and more nourished now that I use it. Just love it.
