Best skin cleanser for me

• I have used Paula's Choice Clear cleanser for over 3 years after searching desperately for something to sooth my red irritated and acne prone skin and this was it for me.

Works Great!

• I have dry skin with an oily T-zone and am prone to blemishes. This cleanser doesn't aggravate the dry spots and doesn't clog the pores in my T-zone - perfect!

Best cleanser ever!

• I really love this product. It has been only 3 weeks since I started using this product, and I can see the result already. I'm currently using paula's choice products (BHA, toner, serum, and moisturizing gel), and everything is perfect for my acne-prone combination skin. The blackheads and white bumps on my forehead are almost gone, and the blackheads on my cheeks are completely gone. Even though the blackheads on my nose are still visible, all of my products are so far so good.

Most non-drying acne cleanser

• My sensitive combo skin is extremely dryness prone from high elevation climate and harsh weather. At 27 I get breakouts mainly on the lower half of my face. A lot of cleansers out there for breakouts have good ingredients that get washed down the drain and drying ingredients that do more damage than good. I know when my skin is dehydrated I usually break out more. This is a great gentle cleanser, though I still need a lot of moisture. I don't use the CLEAR exfoliant but toner and 1% BHA daily

So sad

• I am desperately trying to find a product that will suit my skin. I've been battling acne for years and I trust that Paula's products are probably best formulated, considering her in-depth analysis of so many other companies' lines. This cleanser was fine for about 3 weeks and then my acne exploded. It started drying out and each time I would use this cleanser, my face would burn intensely. I had to stop. It's a shame. The hunt continues. Going to try one of Paula's more gentle cleaners next.

Good cleanser, not for dry skin

• I bought the full size after getting the sample, but after a couple of weeks it started to leave my skin tight and dry - i need to run for a deep moisturizer after each use. I does feel good, but my skin is just too dry for it. I'll try again in the summer, when my skin is not this dry.

a good basic cleanser

• I'm pretty satisfied with this cleanser and use it 2x a day. My skin is a little bit dry after cleansing with it, so I have to be sure to apply moisturizer afterward, but my skin otherwise feels clean and certainly not irritated. Great that it is free of fragrance. I'm still getting some blemishes, so it is not a miracle product for me, but I will keep using it as I think it is a good basic cleanser.

Very Satisifed

• I'm 58 years old. I used the Resist cleanser several times and liked it. However, my skin isn't all that dry, and I still have occasional breakouts (usually whiteheads) on my nose and chin. I decided to try to Clear cleanser. I like it a lot. After cleansing, my skin does not feel dry at all, and actually looks brighter and fresher. If you have "older" skin that's still a bit oily and/or breaks out, you might want to give the Clear cleanser a try. I'm very satisfied.

The bottle isn't big enough

• Love love love this cleanser! I have been using it for 6 months now and it has done miracles for my sensitive/dry/oily combination and very acne prone skin! My only problem with it is that the bottle isn't big enough! some of the other cleansers are available in 16oz, I wish this one was too (thank you for the 1oz bottle for travelling tho).

• This cleanser is absolutely WONDERFUL! My skin finally feels balanced and is no longer dry and peeling. It is completely non-irritating and my skin could not be happier. THANK YOU!!!

• This is an all-around great cleanser. I love that after using it my skin doesn't feel tight or dry.

Good staple cleanser

• Good staple cleanser. I use it with my Mia brush and does a thorough job of cleaning out my pores. Does not remove make up though. I'm on my 2nd bottle and would recommend it to anyone with sensitive, dry skin.

Amazing cleanser!

• This cleanser is amazing! Super gentle, not too drying, and makes my skin as soft as a baby's. I use it with the CLEAR extra strength toner and treatment, as well as the skin balancing moisture gel. It's been perfect for me. Finally I've found something that helps my skin. After 8 years of acne, and trying just about every product on the market, I'm seeing results!! Thanks Paula!

Best. Cleanser. Ever.

• This cleanser feels so good on my skin and it lathers well! Right after rinsing my skin is velvety smooth. It removes all of the excess oil but doesn't dry me out. It also removes makeup well although I sometimes use a makeup remover prior to using this cleanser. This cleanser does sting a little bit when it gets in your eyes, but not a big deal for me.

My skin reminds me a baby skin, it's so sooooooooooft. By the way, I have oily combination to normal skin, and I also tried Skin Balancing Oil-Regular Cleansing, but it over dried my skin too much. CLEAR Pore Normalizing Cleanser is just perfect. It definitely worth more than $10.95. I hope Paula's Choice is not gonna move the price up.

Finally, I found it!

• I've tried a lot of Pauas Choice products, and after much trial and error, I've found the perfect routine for me and this is it! The cleanser and the toner from this line are amazing! As much as I would like to say the same about the treatment, I can't. I am extremely sensitive to benzoyl peroxide, so I'm still on a search for that,

• I am almost done with my 4th bottle, and I have to say... it is my favorite cleanser I've used so far (and I work in retail skincare, so I've tried a LOT of higher-end lines)! I have normal-to-combo skin, with a particularly oily nose, and this keeps everything balanced, not dried out like a lot of "pore" cleansers have done. I feel clean and not stripped of moisture! It also helps that it's dye-free and fragrance-free, as my skin tends to be a little reactive... I dearly love Chanel products, but the fragrance is overwhelming to my nose and has caused some reaction in my skin, so I can't use it. :( This cleanser is truly my favorite of any I've tried!

Awesome

• I absolutely loveeeeeeee this cleanser. I use it in the morning to wash my face. A little goes a long way. At night, I use the skin balancing cleanser which removes my makeup and is gentle on my eyelashes! In fact, it's the ONLY cleanser that hasn't made my eyelashes fall off. Thank you Paula for such wonderful cleansers!!!

Excellent and gentle cleanser

• I have been using this cleanser for over 3 months now and it has been working tremendously with my skin. My skin has cleared up and is not as red as before around the cheek area, and I'm also getting less breakouts now. It's gentle enough to use twice a day, and is definitely worth the price.

Perfect product

• This is hands down, the best clear skin wash ive ever tried.So incredibly gentle you would never know it fights acne and I can even use it around my eyes.My only problem has been with the packaging... even though I only store my bottle upright in the bathroom cabinet, somehow it still manages to ooze out where the cap screws on and drip down the bottle. Not sure how this is possible since the bottle is always standing up. Customer Care Response: Thank you for your review. Too dry

• I bought the normal kit for acne and i realized that it made my skin too dry within the third day of using. Probably it's because i don't have severe acne, it just made more break outs. • Did not notice much of a change with this cleanser. Pretty average stuff, non irritating, removed makeup well. But made no difference in acne, for me.

Love this cleanser!

• This is my go-to cleanser. It removes my makeup (which I wear a lot of) easily and without drying my skin. I have combination skin and this cleanser keeps my chin from getting too dry and also keeps the oil on my T-zone down. I also like that it is gentle around my eyes. I follow it up with a swipe of Paula's Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover and my skin feels soft, clean and radiant after I use these products. The gel spreads easily and I like the way it feels on my acne-prone skin. I used to keep trying to find a similar performing product on the local store shelves - but have found it is absolutely worth it just to order the best, and for me it is this cleanser.

Works great!

• This cleanser has worked well for me. I am 39 with combination skin and have been struggling with acne since losing a good deal of weight last year. I use this with my Ultrasonic skin brush. My acne isn't completely gone, but I am experiencing fewer breakouts. It doesn't dry or irritate my skin like other acne washes have done. I use this along with the regular strength Clear toner and extra strength Clear benzoyl peroxide treatment.
