I haven't purchased this product for a number of years. I'm so glad that i tried it again, the watery texture feels very soothing to my skin and gently removes all my face & eye makeup without irritation or drying out my skin. I've been using it twice a day and highly recommend. i just need to use just a little of this product for it to do its thing. Very happy with it.

I've been using this for years; I don't even know how I found it. It's wonderful- light, non-greasy, leaves my face silky and clean, never dry. PC has some fancier new cleansers out but I don't see how any of them could beat this one. I have normal skin and have never needed a toner. The large size lasts months and months so it's a very reasonable price. I'm not wild about this new packaging, but as long as PC doesn't change the product, I don't care!

This is the one and only cleanser I will ever use in my life. I've heard so many good things about cream type cleansers but my only concern was that they would not remove makeup completely. But this cleanser took away all my worries. It is silky smooth, leaves your skin so moisturized and soft, AND removes all the makeup. I've bought 6 16 oz. bottles so far, and I recommend this products to everybody I know.

Let me say it is very hard for me to find cleansers that actually take off 100% of my make up. My face is normally dry all year around (especially on my forehead, nose bridge, and under my eye area). I usually test the quality of makeup removing cleansers by (1) checking to see if there are any flaky/ dry spots after cleansing, and (2) swiping a cotton pad with toner across my face to make sure there is NO make up residue left over. I'm happy to say this cleanser passed the test flawlessly!

I've been a Paula's Choice customer from the very beginning and have been using this cleanser since it was first introduced. Every once in awhile I think I should try another cleanser, but nothing else I've used compares to it! I can't stand thick/greasy stuff on my face, and this cleanser is light and silky, and it leaves my skin feeling clean yet soft.

I absolutely love this! It's great for my normal-slightly dry all year round except during the driest of winters when. It doesn't lather too much, and it leaves my skin feeling clean yet hydrated. No more of that "tight" feeling! It's also excellent for the price- I buy the largest size when there is a sale and it lasts me the entire year. I can't attest to how to fares for makeup removal as I don't use it for that, but I'd repurchase this in a heartbeat over the Skin Recovery.

I have been on the search for the perfect cleanser for YEARS. Foaming cleansers dry out and strip my skin. Most creamy cleansers don't remove my makeup well, which caused breakout. FINALLY, I have discovered Moisture Boost One Step Cleanser! It removes makeup (even mascara) completely, and leaves my skin soft and hydrated. I also consider it a great value. I bought the smaller size and it lasted almost 6 months! I now order the larger size because it's an even better deal. Love love love this, Paula. Thank you!

I have combination facial skin that is acne and redness prone. Acne cleansers are now too harsh for my adult skin and I have found the Moisture Boost line has improved my skin tremendously. I use the cleanser and toner twice daily (the toner REALLY helps), exfoliate with 2% BHA in the morning, and moisturize in the evening. I've previously used Proactiv, Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, and Noxema- unfortunately I had no improvement with any of those lines. I love that the Moisture Boost line helps to both clear and calm my skin, removes makeup with one wash, and moisturizes all in one.

THis is the only cleanser that has not dried out my skin. I live in a dry climate and every other cleanser has left my skin itchy and flaky. THis gets my face clean and also is gentle on it. I am sold! If you live in a dry climate and have dry skin, this is the cleanser for you! I also recommend the moisture boost toner and moisturizer.

Best cleanser for my skin, any brand. Cleanses well, rinses easily, leaves my normal-dry-mature skin soft and supple. My skin felt tight after using the Resist Cleanser. The Moisture Boost Cleanser followed by the Resist Toner is my holy grail cleaning routine.

As someone with dry skin that gets super flaky during winter, it's hard to find a cleanser that will deep cleanse but won't make my skin too tight. This one is almost perfect. I've used it for three months and I gotta say I loved it for the first few weeks, but now I can sense some tightness when my skin dries up. As soon as I put on toner though (PC Skin Balancing, also a great product) my skin gets calmer. It might just be from the winter cold. I love that it's gentle, foams up just nicely, and most importantly not tested on animals. If you have a Clarisonic or thinking about buying one, this one pairs up very nicely with it.

This is the best cleanser for me! It is the perfect balance of cleansing but yet not making my skin feel tight after. Great stuff!

I know everyone has different experiences with skin products but I wanted to recommend this for slightly dry skin in winter only. I use the skin balancing cleanser in warmer months but when winter comes, especially now that I'm older and not quite as oily but still get breakouts, I need this cleanser to clean thoroughly without leaving that tight, dry feeling and help combat flakiness without being too moisturizing. It fits the bill. Based on someone else's review I tried the hair body shampoo on my face so I didn't have to buy a second cleanser for a few months but since this winter has been colder and drier, I still need the moisture boost for now.

I was soooooo sure this would be a great cleanser for me that I bought the large value size without even trying a sample first......unfortunately, when I use it my skin is left dry and tight and starting to flake. I was very disappointed. I contacted Customer Service and they have sent me samples of the Skin Recovery line to see if that works better for me. This cleanser is a heckuva buy with the 25% off, and some of Paula's other products have worked so well for me........ just not this one. I give it 3 stars because it is a well made cleanser with good ingredients.....I just can't use it.

On a whim I bought a cleanser without checking the reviews on Beautypedia. I later read that the cleanser was rated "Poor" because of the drying properties to the skin. I usually have combination/oily skin, but sure enough, after about a week or so, my face became so dried out, I had flaky skin patches all over my chin, around my nose and even little pimples in the dry areas. It was a mess! I called customer service and they recommended that I try this cleanser and the toner due to the dry patches. I was a little skeptical because I wasn't sure how it would be with having underlying oily skin. I was quite impressed! The cleanser goes on so smooth and it does take off makeup, although I do use her makeup remover to remove eyeliner and mascara first. It is very silky feeling on the skin and after a few days, my skin was so much better, and since using other Paula's Choice products, my skin is looking better than it has in a long time. I am quite happy with all of the products so far and will continue to purchase them.

Now that I'm 42, cool weather is wreaking a bit of havok on my skin. My normally oily/combo skin is becoming tight and uncomfortable. I also have rosacea and noticed that Paula recommends the Skin Recovery line, but having used it before I knew it was a bit much for my skin. This cleanser is perfect. I love the tiny bit of cushiony lather it makes, and how it glides on the skin. It's almost luxurious! You can feel that it's a cleanser with moisturizing properties, but it still rinses cleanly. As far as makeup removal is concerned, thanks to Paula's Choice products I dust on some mineral powder foundation and maybe a little concealer for my face. But, I really have to do some sculpting in the lash department (Sparse but long, the ends of my lashes have a habit of curling into my lid...GAH!) I'm not gonna lie. I wear TONS of mascara. I do have to put an extra drop of this cleanser on my fingertips and rub a bit, but it does come off completely.And the best part is I experience no tightness or irritation after using this. Guess I've found my new Winter skincare regimen.

Love it! This was the first product by PC that I used along with the entire Moisture Boost line. It's creamy, gentle, leaves a soft feeling and removes make up well. I've been using for about a year, starting last winter until now. My skin is normal to dry, and I found that it worked better for my skin during spring and summer months. Now, this winter, I am using the Skin Recovery line, which is even more soothing and is helping with some dryness and possible rosacea on my cheeks. :) Love both!

I don't like this product. I thought that I would need this cleanser because winter would come. Since I 've used this product, I got acne, which I didn't have during summer time.I love your oil reduce line better. Customer Care Response: Thank you for your comments. Although it did a good job removing makeup, it seriously dried out my combination skin and produced that shiny look when oil builds on top of dried out skin. I used a moisturizer every morning and night, and it still wasn't enough to combat the dryness. I was really surprised this didn't work for me considering this product was supposed to be for normal to dry skin. Something in both the Skin Balancing Cleanser and this cleanser dries out my skin, which is a shame considering I love all the other PC products I have. I was really disappointed in this one. This product isn't terrible just not compatible for my skin. The texture is creamy like milk and it does decent job of removing makeup considering it is so gentle, a plus in that area. It does a very good job cleansing the face and being very gentle to skin at the same time

I absolutely LOVE this cleanser! The texture is so smooth and sillky! I love applying this to my face every night and day and my face doesn't feel dry or too oily. It's just perfect!

Frustrated! I have dry skin and this cleanser is not helping and nor does the skin recovery cleanser. I'm so tired of trying cleanser after cleanser. Not happy with either one! This is my second bottle,and it's so nice to my skin. Feels really soft and smooth after,and it really does take of my mascara,so saves me a step. I'll keep ordering this product.
