My favorite cleanser
from Raleigh, NC
About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about MOISTURE BOOST Cleanser - 8 oz:
I've been using this cleanser every single day for several years now. I'm disappointed to see that it's being discontinued! I have sensitive skin and it can be difficult to find products that don't irritate my skin, so I've been very happy to have found this product. I use it twice a day and love the way it makes my skin feel!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Perfect for Skin just Beginning to Age
from White Plains, NY
Comments about MOISTURE BOOST Cleanser - 16 oz:
My skin used to be very oily as a teen and in my early 20s. It's only now that I'm 30, my skin has changed to be on the drier side of combination skin. So initially, I was a bit concerned that this cleanser would leave me feeling like an oil slick but I finally caved and decided to try it this winter because my skin was just constantly flaky. It works beautifully, incredibly non-irritating, didn't cause any oiliness and greatly helped my parched, flaky skin. Now that it's summer, I'm still using it and it works just as incredibly well - I never break out or feel oily as a result of using this stuff. The only negative is that you have to use a toner or cleanse with a clarisonic brush or washcloth to completely remove makeup because this cleanser is so gentle, it won't remove everything on its own. I confess as a long time Paula's Choice user, I'm annoyed that they are discontinuing this in favor of using the same formulation in a more expensive (less product in each bottle) line.

This really is my favorite cleanser, not just of the PC brand, but of all cleansers I've tried so far in my lifetime. Seriously. I almost became very upset at hearing that this was being discontinued until I heard that it is essentially being repackaged in the Calm line. THANK YOU, because I can't imagine having to find another cleanser if this ever pulled from market. Anyway, it really does everything a cleanser should do - it's gentle yet cleanses very thoroughly and leaves my skin feeling comfortable and never tight or dry. I use it daily, morning and night. I have combination skin with occasional mild breakouts and clogged pores. This cleanser is a simple yet effective product and I have nothing but good things to say about it. PC definitely has a winner with this one!

About Me Budget Buyer
I ordered this cleanser and understand that it will be discontinued but is similar to the Calm Redness Relief line. I like this cleanser (I tried the Calm Redness Relief cleanser too) because it is creamy yet still foams just enough to get real dirt and sweat off my face when needed. Otherwise I prefer a cleansing oil (Clinique) for my dry skin. I don't like just a cream cleanser, I do like some foam for a fresh, clean feel. In general, I really love PC products a lot, they work, improve my skin and are at a reasonable price. Thanks Paula!

Really Good Cleanser
About Me Brand Buyer
Wonderful, gentle, non-drying cleanser! I have tried SO many drug store bands and ended up throwing them away because they were so drying, not this one. Way to go Paulas Choice! Be careful how much you use, you need no where near as much of this cleanser as drug store cleansers, for example. A little goes a very long way. It doesn't lather up so don't be looking for that to happen, and it washes away clean. 100% Fragrance Free is 100% correct for this product, which I love because I have asthma and I'm sensitive to odors.
Not For Me
from Dallas, TX
I was previously using Paula's Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser which worked great on my combo skin but I thought I'd try this product to see if it worked even better. Unfortunately after a month of use my face has started to breakout which didn't happen at all using the Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser. I will be going back to it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My New Favorite!
from Las Vegas, NV
This is my new night-time face cleanser, and I couldn't be happier! I used to love the L'oreal Go 360 Clean Face Wash for Sensitive Skin, because it removes my makeup while still being gentle. This includes eye makeup (just not waterproof mascara). Once looking up more about that cleanser, I learned the company tests on animals, so I decided to try something different. This PC Moisture Boost cleanser was the first one I tried and I am so happy so say it performs even better than the L'oreal cleanser! This makes my face feels soft, clean, and smooth without drying it out. It also removes all of my makeup (Again, not including waterproof mascara) and I am in love!!!

Gentle on Face
By Dr. Wag
from Southern California
Like the rest of its skincare set (toner and moisturizer), this has a nice light feel to the face. It does not irritate. I also have used it on a light brush that suds up and brushes on the face and it gently scrubs the face nicely. This definitely goes well with the skincare set.

Great for face AND body
By Seriously Sensitive
I've used this cleanser for several years for my face, but recently have developed serious sensitivities to every single sensitive skin or unscented body wash I've tried. In addition to being very sensitive, my skin also dries out easily, which makes it even more reactive. After spending far too much money on body wash I could use just a few times before the inevitable rash, I finally in desperation grabbed my Moisture Boost and used it in the shower. It is expensive to use this way of course, but it is better than having itchy, red skin and hives. I've tried Paula's hair and body wash, but it dries out my skin while I have no such problems with the Moisture Boost. It feels a little different than your typical body wash, but my skin seems to appreciate that fact. I wish that Paula would develop a body wash designed to moisturize in addition to cleanse, but for now, I'm using what my skin can tolerate. It is a tiny bit more drying than the Skin Recovery cleanser, but the latter doesn't foam well and I find I need to use more of it, so it costs more to use. I also find the Moisture Boost works better for removing makeup than the Skin Recovery cleanser, at least for my skin.

Ah, Moisture Boost
By Izzy the Terrible
from Tampabay, Florida
Let me preface this by saying that this is not my favorite cleanser, but this IS the cleanser that I buy repeatedly. Let me explain. The Skin Recovery Softening Cleanser is, by far, my favorite cleanser. My skin is very easily dried out, and Moisture Boost does tend to dry my skin out. I'm youngish (early 30's), and have always had sensitive sebaceous glands, but I think I've got them pretty well figured out. If I irritate them too much or dry out my skin, I turn into an oil slick. So, more moisture = less oil. But Moisture Boost doesn't ACTUALLY boost my moisture. I feel a little bit dry, and I'm JUST on the line of being TOO dry. HOWEVER, I'm also cheap. And holy crud, this stuff goes SUCH A LONG WAY it's ridiculous. It's like mana from heaven, it just never stops. Just a few drops cleanses my face, so I just make sure to get my moisturizer on immediately after my shower to counteract the dryness.Would I recommend this product? HECK YEAH! I think that this is probably THE product for everyone. I'm guessing I'm the freak that has the weirdly sensitive skin and that everyone would love this. If you're a dryer like me and not as cheap as I am though, try the Skin Recovery though.
