Elegant Feel, Great Packaging
About Me Brand Buyer
Comments about RESIST Perfectly Balanced Cleanser - 6.4 oz:
I've used most of the cleansers PC has produced over the years, and recently gave this one a try. It's gentle and has a luxurious feel, however, it takes a lot more rinsing than some of the other cleansers I have used. My favorites are Earth Sourced and Skin Recovery (the old formula). Still, this is a great cleanser if you like the creamy/foamy thing. I do love the packaging. Maybe I'll put my Skin Recovery into this bottle!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is a perfect cleanser for oily/combination skin. It removes just enough to leave a clean feel, but is not drying. It also does not irritate the eyes. People with dry skin should not be using this product. This cleanser does not foam by the way. It starts off looking like a cream out of the pump, but lathers into a gentle soap, much like the cerave cleanser for oily skin. However, while it DOES remove a lot of makeup with moderate amounts of rubbing, unless you're using a washcloth or scrubbing your face, which you shouldn't be doing by the way, it won't remove heavy makeup. I use a tinted sunscreen, plus BB cream daily, and it removes most of it, but not all. The rest is easily removed when I use a toner

Stings my skin

I use this product at night only since my skin is quite sensitive. I love Paula's products but I had never tried a cleanser because I was scared of how my skin might react. Although it is a good cleanser and leaves your face clean, I was disappointed to notice that after a couple of days it just began irritating my skin. I would say to be careful with this if you have super sensitive skin.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I Had To Review This!
Never would I think I'd be so enthused about a cleanser. I had to write a review. I'm a huge Paula's Choice fan. I have normal to dry skin however I didn't want to buy a cleaners made for dry skin because I always find that it doesn't take off my make up. I hoped that this would be somewhere in the middle. This is the butter of all cleansers. It feels so luxurious on the skin but I come out with nearly all of my eye make up removed after washing my face at night. I use this in the morning and at night and I do not have dry skin from over-washing.
One step makeup remover
The best cleanser, it removes makeup in just ONE step, it's a time/money saver.

This one irritated my eyes. I will go back to the Hydrating Cleanser which I love.

About Me Budget Buyer
Let me start by saying I was turned on to PC about 8-9 years ago looking for a cleanser and moisturizer that were effective and budget friendly. Through that time, I have used several of Paula's cleansers. I recently landed on trying something new for my aging skin (I'm 44). I already had success with products in the Resist line so I figured I'd try this cleanser. I love it. Truly. I've used cleansers twice the price with less than stellar results. This one does what it needs to. I end up with cleansed skin that never feels taught, stripped or overly squeaky clean to the point of dryness. I feel cleansed, but my skin remains soft and supple. I am neither oily nor dry anymore, but am prone to sensitivity and breakouts. It's nice to know this will remove most my makeup, with the exception of waterproof mascara. When I'm wearing full coverage makeup, I will cleanse my face twice to be sure to remove all traces of makeup, mostly because I hate using a remover. I use twice a day, and even on nights when I'm exhausted and skip moisturizer (yes it happens), I still wake up without dried out skin. It's almost as if this has a protective layer whereas other cleansers out there feel like I washed my face with bar soap or worse, I end up with a funky residue like I'd used greasy cold cream. This is the happy medium! I never let myself run out of this cleanser! Oh on another note, I tried PC Resist cleanser for normal to dry in the light blue bottle. It was ok. It didn't feel as luxurious in texture and I felt it was less effective at removing makeup. I'll be sticking to this dark blue bottle formula instead.

About Me Beauty Conscious
I started getting this about 6 months ago, after it was suggested to me by a friend. I honestly thought I would just try it out and move on ... but my skin has loved it (seriously -- little to no breakouts since I've started using this)! It has a mild, milky smell that I love. I noticed some people say it doesn't remove makeup well -- not true, for me, anyway. Two pumps takes it all off, including my mascara, and I use a medium coverage foundation and concealer, so I'm not sure what products wouldn't come off with this. Very happy with this product and I will continue to use.
Service and delivery comments:

Simple and perfect
About Me Beauty Expert
I looked for a simple, lightweight, non-irritating cleanser for SO LONG - and finally found the perfect one for me. I wanted something simple, as I already have plenty AHAs and BHAs and etc. in my serums and oils. This cleanser does what it says- CLEANSES! It gets all my makeup off as well as dirt and oil, and keeps my sensitive combo skin moisturized without being greasy, and squeaky clean without being drying. This is the perfect basic cleanser- and it lives up to it's claims! I can see myself using this cleanser for the entire foreseeable future.
