Not For Me
from Dallas, TX
About Me Brand Buyer
Comments about Moisture Boost Cleanser - 16 oz:
I was previously using Paula's Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser which worked great on my combo skin but I thought I'd try this product to see if it worked even better. Unfortunately after a month of use my face has started to breakout which didn't happen at all using the Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser. I will be going back to it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My New Favorite!
from Las Vegas, NV
About Me Budget Buyer
This is my new night-time face cleanser, and I couldn't be happier! I used to love the L'oreal Go 360 Clean Face Wash for Sensitive Skin, because it removes my makeup while still being gentle. This includes eye makeup (just not waterproof mascara). Once looking up more about that cleanser, I learned the company tests on animals, so I decided to try something different. This PC Moisture Boost cleanser was the first one I tried and I am so happy so say it performs even better than the L'oreal cleanser! This makes my face feels soft, clean, and smooth without drying it out. It also removes all of my makeup (Again, not including waterproof mascara) and I am in love!!!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Gentle on Face
By Dr. Wag
from Southern California
Like the rest of its skincare set (toner and moisturizer), this has a nice light feel to the face. It does not irritate. I also have used it on a light brush that suds up and brushes on the face and it gently scrubs the face nicely. This definitely goes well with the skincare set.

Great for face AND body
By Seriously Sensitive
I've used this cleanser for several years for my face, but recently have developed serious sensitivities to every single sensitive skin or unscented body wash I've tried. In addition to being very sensitive, my skin also dries out easily, which makes it even more reactive. After spending far too much money on body wash I could use just a few times before the inevitable rash, I finally in desperation grabbed my Moisture Boost and used it in the shower. It is expensive to use this way of course, but it is better than having itchy, red skin and hives. I've tried Paula's hair and body wash, but it dries out my skin while I have no such problems with the Moisture Boost. It feels a little different than your typical body wash, but my skin seems to appreciate that fact. I wish that Paula would develop a body wash designed to moisturize in addition to cleanse, but for now, I'm using what my skin can tolerate. It is a tiny bit more drying than the Skin Recovery cleanser, but the latter doesn't foam well and I find I need to use more of it, so it costs more to use. I also find the Moisture Boost works better for removing makeup than the Skin Recovery cleanser, at least for my skin.

Ah, Moisture Boost
By Izzy the Terrible
from Tampabay, Florida
Let me preface this by saying that this is not my favorite cleanser, but this IS the cleanser that I buy repeatedly. Let me explain. The Skin Recovery Softening Cleanser is, by far, my favorite cleanser. My skin is very easily dried out, and Moisture Boost does tend to dry my skin out. I'm youngish (early 30's), and have always had sensitive sebaceous glands, but I think I've got them pretty well figured out. If I irritate them too much or dry out my skin, I turn into an oil slick. So, more moisture = less oil. But Moisture Boost doesn't ACTUALLY boost my moisture. I feel a little bit dry, and I'm JUST on the line of being TOO dry. HOWEVER, I'm also cheap. And holy crud, this stuff goes SUCH A LONG WAY it's ridiculous. It's like mana from heaven, it just never stops. Just a few drops cleanses my face, so I just make sure to get my moisturizer on immediately after my shower to counteract the dryness.Would I recommend this product? HECK YEAH! I think that this is probably THE product for everyone. I'm guessing I'm the freak that has the weirdly sensitive skin and that everyone would love this. If you're a dryer like me and not as cheap as I am though, try the Skin Recovery though.

More gentle than Skin Balancing Cleanser
from Orlando, FL
I had used Skin Balancing Cleanser for my oily/combination skin for a long time, but now that I'm getting older I find that it dries out my face just a little bit. I tried the Moisture Boost Cleanser and was pleasantly surprised that it does an equally good job of cleansing my face and removing makeup, but does not sting my eyes or dry out my skin. In fact, my face is left feeling fresh, clean and soft. Even though this cleanser is marketed for those with normal to dry skin, I feel that it works just as well for those with oily/combination skin. Afterwards, I just use Skin Balancing Toner and it removes whatever traces of eye makeup is left. Now Moisture Boost has become my favorite Paula's Choice cleanser!

I have mature, combination skin (extremely dry & extremely oily areas). I have looked for years for an effective cleanser that doesn't leave my face feeling uncomfortably tight. This is the winner. Love the rich, silky texture and you only need a pea sized drop so it lasts a long time.

This is a classic!!
This is my all time favorite cleanser! It removes makeup and leaves my face feeling clean, without stripping it of moisture. Great product!

This is definitely my cleanser :)
from oakland, Ca.
I am 55, an African Amer. female. It is important to see reviews of those with similar backgrounds:). This cleanser is amazing!!! You really don't expect MUCH from a cleanser. You just move on to the next step; but this is no ordinary cleanser. it gently cleanses, while leaving your skin soft, smooth. It literally compliments/boosts your moisturizer! My skin type is normal/dry, and this is my cleanser. I had to take time to do this survey, so that others can benefit from it. Thank you very much Paula's Choice. I am looking at your other products in the catalog you sent with my purchase. Also I was very pleased at how fast my order was delivered!:):):)

I use three different cleansers by Paula's choice, but this one is a perennial favorite. Its gentle formula is perfect year round. I buy the large size and keep it in my shower. As with any cleanser, when I wear eye makeup, especially mascara, I use a separate eye makeup remover before I cleanse.
