Comments about RESIST Hydrating Cleanser - 6.4 oz:
I have combination skin, however, overtime my skin has become much more dry which is why I am searching for a new cleanser to add to my current regimen. Cerave Hydrating cleanser is my product of choice, but I've been curious about Paula's Choice, so I bought samples of this product. Overall this product is far from hydrating; it leaves my skin the opposite of hydrated. After cleansing with this product, my skin feelse dry and tight, which is what I would expect from a foaming face wash. Overall I am happy that I purchased the samples instead, seeing that this product is very pricey.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I found my cleanser!
from Surrey, BC
Since I decided that Cetaphil wasn't doing a good enough job for me, I've tried several different cleansers - both PC and drugstore brands. Nothing every completely satisfied me until I tried this. It is thick and creamy and feels nice to use. It rinses well and leaves my skin feeling neutral - not dry OR overly moisturized. I wanted to stop using a toner to cut down on my bedtime routine, and with this, I am able to. I usually don't use foundation, but the few times I have this cleanser got all of it off - I followed with toner and the cotton pad was completely clean! I don't recall that ever happening with ANY cleanser I've ever used. This is IT for me. My search is over. LOVE IT!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Feels like a lotion, but works like a cleasner
I use this product mostly in the morning, I would use it more but its expense to me. It cleans and keeps my face hydrated without striping my natural oils , thus my face is less red and smooth yet totally clean . its properties in it are very good with balancing out the ph levels in my skin and I've never had any breakout concerns from this cleanser. If you try and take a full face of cake makeup off with it before using makeup remover wipes, you will need to wash your face twice, becuz its very gentle.

About Me Minimalist
I have combination skin, and always thought that Resist Perfectly Balanced cleanser was more suitable for me. I randomly decided to try this product one day, and the difference in result on my skin was amazing. My skin looks brighter, softer, and the pores on my cheeks (the dry part of my skin) actually became a lot smaller! I'm very surprised.

Have used for years
from Seattle, WA
I have been using this for years. Occasionally try something else, but always come back to it. Gentle, non drying with thorough cleaning. Great for my combination skin that is getting dryer as I get older!

About Me Budget Buyer
I love this cleanser. It removes ALL my makeup the first time using it. I've never experienced that with a cleanser before. I use the toner afterward and my cotton ball is always clean clean clean. Other cleansers don't take care of business, dry out your skin, or leave a nasty residue behind. Not this. Best cleanser ever.

I'm on my second bottle of this product. I really love the creaminess of this cleanser and how my skin feel when I'm using it and after I've used it. I don't think it removes make-up that well but I typically don't wear a ton of make-up anyway so if you do wear a lot I wouldn't say this is your one stop remover/cleanser. I also love that the pump locks for when you are traveling!! So wonderful. I'll definitely keep buying this.

LOVE This Cleanser!!!

About Me Brand Buyer
I love this cleanser - it's one of the few I've tried that doesn't irritate my skin and/or make me break out in pimples or hives. I have VERY sensitive skin, I'm over 50, and I also have mild rosacea. This cleanser does take off make-up for me, but I guess it depends on what kind of make-up you're using (i.e. waterproof). Waterproof make-up is always harder to get off.

Great for rosacea skin
from New York, NY
I have mild rosacea and the most frustrating part about it is that it has changed my skin texture, so that I always feel like there's a dry layer of skin cells on my face. I like the clean feel that facial scrubs give me, but they certainly aren't great for the rosacea. This cleanser is gentle, but still makes my skin feel both clean and soft- more like what it was before the rosacea kicked in.I agree it's not ideal for makeup removal, but as I don't often wear makeup I just use a makeup remover first on those days. For those who regularly wear makeup and want a quick bedtime routine, maybe another cleanser would be a better option, but this really tames the scaly feel I often have on my face, so I'm very satisfied with it.

Skin doesn't feel stripped after use!
I use this cleanser twice a day, once in the morning after I workout and again at night before I go to bed. I've used many different (drugstore) cleansers in my lifetime, and even the ones with four stars on Beautypedia that are made for dry skin have always left me with tight-feeling, irritated skin. My skin is really sensitive, so even the most gentle cleansers will leave me with red patches on my face. It is a little pricey, but this cleanser is very large in size! My skin does not feel stripped of anything after I use this cleanser, which is probably the biggest surprise for me. I don't wear any makeup on my skin, and I always remove my eye makeup seperately, so I can't testify to how well this works at removing makeup.
