Not just for your lips!

Comments about LIPSCREEN SPF 50 - 4.40 gr:
Outstanding as a lip moisturizer and protectant. However, I have found it to be an AMAZING eye area moisturizer as well! I apply my routing skincare and my eye cream. Then, I apply this over the moisturizer around my eye area. It seems to seal in the moisture in my typically dry eye area that is prone to wrinkles and sensitivity and the added sun protection is a bonus! Never irritates my eye area. Also, I can re-apply during the day over my makeup and it still works great. This is a win-win product and I am sold!

So glad I found an SPF lipbalm with no fragrance/flavor
from Seattle, WA
About Me Natural Style
I've used avobenzone sunscreens on my face in the past but they always led to skin rashes. So I didn't try this in-part avobenzone-based lipscreen for the longest time. But I simply couldn't find another lipbalm out there with adequate and stable UVA and UVB protection that either didn't add a white layer (physical blockers) or that didn't have any fragrance or flavor added to it. So I finally tried this Paula's Choice Lipscreen. And I'm so glad I did. To my surprise, it doesn't irritate my lips/skin (knock on wood). And it's moisturizing enough for my lips. It also acts as a nice balm/primer underneath my lipsticks without changing the color of my lipsticks. I've read some reviews talking about a bad taste to this balm but I don't taste anything (keeping in mind that I'm not one to lick my lips often). Overall, this is an excellent SPF lipbalm for me.
Too waxy, not moisturizing
By Sue M
I wish I could love this product. It is great that it has SPF 50. But to me it is a standard waxy feeling lip balm. I do not feel it is especially moisturizing. It does not have a nice shine on bare lips. I used to use a PC lipstick product in the invisible colour. It did only have SPF15, but I used it all the time, quite long lasting, and I would reapply regularly. And, it had a lovely very soft shine and was very moisturizing. I am lucky to have a nice colour in my lips and could wear just this and it looked lovely. The SPF 50 lipscreen is not nearly as nice. I would love it if they would bring back the other one, just the invisible colour.

Best Lip Balm
from Brooklyn, NY
I love that there is no odor or scent or color, just an everyday super hydrating balm that protects from the sun.
from St. Paul, MN
I have chronically chapped lips that have greatly improved since I started using the Lip and Body Treatment Balm by Paula's Choice. I bought this for daytime use for the sunscreen. It doesn't work as well as the treatment balm in terms of moisturizing but it isn't irritating and it does moisture just not as much as the balm. It does have a metal taste to it. I don't know why that it. It's a must have for me to prevent sun damage.

About Me Minimalist
At last ... a lip balm with no fragrance or flavor, and no irritating peppermint oil. This product is designed to soothe your lips and protect them ... not create more dryness so you are "addicted" to using the balm in order to feel better! Stop the madness with these peppermint-scented lip balms ... use Paula's Choice!

YUCK...But so good!
By Jessie Jess

UGH! So frustrating! There's no denying that this chapstick works. I feel with a good chapstick, you should only have to apply it once, maybe twice, out of the entire day, not every half hour like with some lip products. This chapstick is definitly a good one. It lasts me all day. However, this gives me the worst taste in my mouth. I couldn't figure out what was causing this mysterious, slightly metallic, dank taste. Turns out, it was the chapstick. Very disappointing. While this chapstick DOES work very well, there are alternatives that work just as well without the terrible taste. I'll stick to my Lypsyl chapstick which costs more like $2, rather than $10.

Great but a little pricey
from San Jose, CA
About Me Beauty Conscious
I am a lip balm addict and this one has made it to the top of my list. It is a substantial lip balm so for those who just want a light layer of protection this is not for you. I have perpetually dry lips and this balm helps to protect and hydrate them throughout the day along with providing sun protection. It does not have an odd taste nor does it feel overly greasy or heavy. It i s a little on the pricey side though especially for lip balm which I am personally prone to losing or have multiples stashed throughout my house and bags. It would be great if Paula could come out with a multi-pack of maybe 2 or 3 at a discounted price!

I am befuddled. For years fans begged Paula to make a stick-type lip balm in the likes of her excellent "Lip & Body Treatment Balm" - and she refused, saying that this formula cannot be transferred into stick. Finally, she makes a stick lip balm! -- and it dries the lips!... Straight to the trash it goes. Very disappointed.

Great Sun Protection for Sensitive Skin
from Calgary, AB, Canada
Love this product. I apply lip primer first, then Paula's Choice Lip Screen, then I apply my lip stain on top. I can leave the house confidently knowing my lips are protected from UV rays.I find the product has no taste, is scent free, long lasting, and at noon I can see my lip stain has faded, but is still there, so I know the lip screen is still under the lip stain. I have sensitive skin, but I have no adverse reaction to this product. It is now my go to lip screen. The only down side for me is the Canadian dollar is very low right now which makes the product very high cost to purchase in U.S. dollars. I would like to see a Paula's Choice provide a Canadian distributor priced in Canadian dollars.
