Please never discontinue this!
About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about Hydralight Lotion - 2 oz:
Please do not discontinue this product. It is the only moisturizer I use on my face. I have very sensitive, oily, and break out prone skin. It causes me zero irritation or breakouts. It is lightweight, yet effective. It goes on smoothly and has no greasiness. I love that it is packed with antioxidants as well. It is the best.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Makes a Killer Eye Cream when you add HA Booster!
from Houston, TX
I really like the light texture. This seems to moisturize very well without being heavy and occlusive. My favorite way to use this moisturizer is to add 1-2 drops of the hyaluronic acid booster to about a dime sized spot of this moisturizer. It plumps up my eye area and makes the area appear less crepey.

I purchased a few samples of this product, and was immediately hooked. I have mild rosacea and combo skin. This product is soothing, reduces irritation, and absorbs well without making you feel greasy or slimy. I use it at night, and it feels light and clean. If you use a retinol product and find it makes your skin peel/red, I would recommend using this immediately after. My skin is easily irritated by retinol products (even PC's stellar Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment), so I apply that and then put a thin layer of this moisturizer on top. I haven't had any peeling since, and I've been using retinol products for years.

good moisturizer for sensitive, combination skin
from Alexandria, VA
I have extremely sensitive skin and a lot of skin allergies. Things like cut grass and laundry dryer sheets give me rashes and tree sap gives me welts. Thankfully, I have not had any allergic reactions to Paula's Choice products. My skin care is complicated by my rosacea and mild hormonal acne. Before using Paula's Choice, I had an extremely difficult time balancing my skin's moisture. I either had too much and acne resulted, or my skin was so dry it literally cracked. For the last seven months, I've used the hydralight toner and moisturizer along with the 1% BHA lotion and I no longer struggle with finding the right moisture balance. This moisturizer works fine under makeup.

About Me Skin Care Professional
This was my first purchase from paulas choice and it's the worst I've tried so far. I love the smell but that's it. It takes a lot of product to feel moisturized so it only last a month for me. It didn't help with my redness, in fact it may have worsened it. I wanted to love it but after two purchases I decided to test Paula's moisturizers because this product isn't worth it for me.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Minimalist
This has been super effective at keeping my sensitive, oil prone skin moisturized and comfortable without feeling unpleasantly heavy.
light but extremely effective
from Oakland, CA
This moisturizer is one of the best I've ever used. Most moisturizers have a heavy feel, and leave what feels like a coating of grease on my skin. This is extremely light and thin, and feels excellent. Despite the light formula, its very effective. I use this at night only, since it doesn't contain sunscreen.

Most favorite moisturizer for rosacea
This is my favorite moisturizer! Perfect for my sensitive, combination, sun damaged skin, with rosacea. It's so soothing and makes my skin feel soft and smooth. Especially great for summer - never greasy. And I love the subtle smell. My husband used it and fell in love. Well done!

Not good for rosacea
By First-time user
I used this every night as directed, hoping it would be gentle enough for my very sensitive skin. Since it is supposed to be good for people with rosacea, I thought it would be safe to use. Unfortunately, in my case it caused redness every time I applied, and my skin continued to be very dry. I was disappointed.

Moisturizes sensitive, acne-prone skin
This moisturizes my dry patches, does not sting or cause redness, and does not make me break out.I will say that if my skin barrier has already been damaged by whatever irritant, this only causes more stinging. I find this to be true of any water-based product, though, so it is not surprising. To generally maintain my skin and prevent irritation in the first place, this is my go-to product.
