Best hydrator ever
from N. C., USA
About Me Beauty Conscious, Can't Spend Much Time, Like Effective Routine, Minimalist
Comments about RESIST Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator - 1.7 oz:
I love this product, and use it in combination with Paula's SPF 30 daily Wrinkle Defense, it has a lot of nice color, and I am done. I also use a serum either once/day and want to now add one w/ Retinol, as I had feared it would dry my skin and have learned it's not true!A little goes a long way with this product, especially if you combine it with the SPF 30 w/ color one, they say tinted but I use it as completed look! I am loving aging with good, natural products not tested on animals....it also is genetic and I stick closely as possible to my yoga and vegetarian diet, drinking a lot of water, no milk unless it's coconut or almond.`Honestly I am told daily that I do not appear to be even 50! As a younger woman it seemed normal, but now that I am in my 60's it is vital to maintain my skin's health, in particular years sailing and living near the beach in my 30's-40's resulted in skin cancer, tiny spots I caught early, and is now-clear for ten past years! SPF , like Paula's helps so much it is also easy to blend and apply for smooth looking skin. Thanks to this company! Also, it's not hurting to stay indoors til afternoon, seek out shade, late afternoon beach and sailing.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Too rich for a normal to oily skin
from San Jose, CA
About Me Minimalist
I ordered this resist Normal to oily skin hydrator and I thought it is for the combination skin type. However, after using for a few days every night, I began to have breakout and my skin feels more oily and unbalanced. The resist anti-aging moisturizer feels richer and it doesn't feel suitable for combination skin type at all. While they offer exchanges/returns, you've to prepay your own shipping labels. It is not too worth it to try out and return as there will be definitely costs involved.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Balls up on me
I love all other pc products that I have tried. This one feels nice going on and has a list of good ingredients but, it doesn't mix well for me with any of the boosters I use with it. I have tried letting it sit on its own to absorb and it still pills and balls when I add anything else. Love the resist barrier repair and the skin balancing gel. I was just hoping to be able to buy a kit with products from one line or the other. For now I will just mix and match like before. Love what Paula's choice has done for my skin. Just have to pass on this one.

About Me Beauty Conscious, Skin Care Professional
This was the first product with a gel formula that I tried from PC. Now that I'm in my 40's, I need more moisture for all stages of skincare so wrinkles are slowed down. This is a great moisturizer that can be used day or night, but I usually only use it as my last step at night as it doesn't have SPF. If you don't like the thickness of the gel formula, you can mix in the Resist C15 Super Booster to make it more fluid. I use it on my whole face including around my eyes and neck. Perfect amount of moisture without feeling greasy. My only complaint is that I can go through a bottle quickly. I wish it came in a larger size or in tube packaging. Once you run out, you can't open the bottle to get at any leftover product inside.

About Me Beauty Conscious, Minimalist
Since my foundation is a little moisturizing I was seeking a moisturizer that would not be so heavy and help keep my skin smooth. This is it. I love how you can use it around your eyes and the benefits of the nourishment.

I used this as a night time moisturizer and I found that it broke me out and didn't really have any positive effect on my skin.
Excellent for acne-prone skin!
About Me Beauty Conscious
This is the best moisturizer I've ever used. I started buying it a few years ago, because I was concerned about pre-mature aging. I was really tentative about using lotion, as I have combination skin and am prone to breakouts. However, I used it in conjunction with Clear Pore Normalizing Cleanser and never had a problem. I stopped using both for awhile, but recently found an old bottle of the Resist lotion. Even without the Clear face wash, I still rarely have difficulties with acne when using this lotion. I have a bad habit of picking at my acne when I do breakout, but this lotion seems to help heal and lighten the resulting red marks. One of the comments below noted that the formula was changed and that they may have removed the Vitamin C from it. My bottle is somewhat old, so I can't speak to the new formula. But, I really hope that's not the case! My skin is demonstrably better when I use it, so I really hope they haven't changed anything!

Calming & Healing & Oil Balancing Properties
I use Clear Pore Normalizing Cleanser, Skin Balancing Pore Reducing Toner, Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution. Those products clear up my skin and this moisturizer on top keeps my skins barrier healthy so everything can heal. It is and interesting texture, I guess I would say a dry lotion-gel? I love it and it keeps my skin moisturized in spite of some strong weekly treatments I use (4% Resist BHA, and Clinical 1% Retinol & C15 Booster on top). It also absorbs the oil, or helps to balance my skin; I'm not sure which, maybe both. All I know is that my face was super oily, like even if a normal person smeared castor oil on their face, my face would still look oilier in comparison. If it try to use other moisturizers my skin gets oily, or I develop cystic acne, or bad reactions.I did find CeraVe's Normal to Dry to be sufficient for when I run out and need moisture now! not waiting for a delivery. Even though it moisturizes and doesn't give me cystic acne, it does not have the calming benefits & healing benefits and my skin gets slightly greasy. I find that if I go without the Resist Clear Skin moisturizer and try to use CeraVe, my skin gets oilier and oilier as time goes on.Anyways, I'm clearly very happy with not just this product, but many that I have tried in Paula's Choice. I did find some other moisturizers/sunscreens in this brand to be irritating for my eyes or lips: Hydralight moisture infusing lotion, Hydralight daily mineral complete. Moisture Boost was ok, but discontinued? Anyway, this Hydrator is my Holy Grail.I had repulsive skin, now I get so many compliments on how my skins improved from friends, family, & acquaintances I haven't seen in a long time. I can go out in public without heavy foundation! Yay! I really had to make it a priority to pay attention to my skin, add one product at a time, and be consistent in application.
A staple in my regime!

I love this moisturizer! I have combo/acne prone skin and this leaves my skin feeling refreshed and smooth without making it greasy. I use it in the morning and also at night. IF I had a complaint it'd be that I wish there was more product for the price.
Found the unicorn!
from Sunnyvale, CA
I just tried this as a sample, and I am COMPLETELY sold! This is the first PM moisturizer I've ever tried (and I've tried plenty) that I actually like more than my favorite cheapo drugstore product. This moisturizer has a silky gel texture, absorbs quickly with no greasy sheen, and smooths on just like a dream. This is the magical unicorn product I've been searching for that somehow works on both the greasy and the dry areas of my weird, sensitive, breakout-prone skin.
