Moisturizing product with the best packaging!

Comments about RESIST Intensive Repair Cream - 1.7 oz:
I am 44 with sensitive, ultra dry skin due to medications. I use this product every night as my last step only face and eye area, on top of my serums, etc. It feels like an oxymoron to say this is a "hydrating" product with retinol! Fortunately the dose of retinol is small enough so my ultra sensitive skin can tolerate. it. This creamy moisturizer glides onto the skin and it soaks right in. I do not use this on my neck since I like to use a richer/more dense moisturizer for my neck. (My skin is drier than the average 44yo due to meds). Another reason I love this product is its phenomenal packaging. Leave it to PC to protect their treasured ingredients inside such a fantastic air tight pump. (Years ago before PC, I wasted over $100 for a 1-oz moisturizer with jar packaging....not realizing potent ingredients most likely did not remain stable). I am grateful for this pump, and I always keep a back up on hand. I recommend for those with dry skin. My mother asked me what eye cream I can recommend, so I bought her this product to use as her eye cream.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Grandmother
This is the best night cream that I have ever used. I use it at bedtime and my skin is still beautifully hydrated in the morning. I really wanted to give it a "Perfect" score, but couldn't because of the packaging. Like others who have commented on this product, I like to use every last little bit in the package. Easy to do with a plastic tube which can be cut in half and stored in a plastic bag while you finish it off. Out of curiosity, I took a hammer and screwdriver to the tin and after I finally managed to get inside. I found a small glass tube, slightly wider than 1/2", which contained the product. The can itself is 1 and 3/4 " wide, so very deceptive. What really disappoints me though, is that this is way too much packaging for the size of what is inside. This surprised me given Paula's concern for the environment.I will keep buying this cream because I like it so much, but I do hope that it will be repackaged in the future.

Resist Intensive Repair Cream

About Me Beauty Conscious
I have been a fan and consistent user of Resist Intensive Repair Cream for years! After cleansing, I smooth PC 2% BHA lotion followed by a serum (not PC) and, lastly, Resist moisturizer. These steps have produced a soft, smooth and relatively wrinkle-free visage. I am 73 years old and appear to be 50-55. I believe a clean and moisturized face is key along with nutritious food.

Love The Product - Hate the Packaging

About Me Skin Care Professional
I love this product, however the "hard" plastic jar it's placed in, keeps me from repurchasing. I truly believe in utilizing every last drop of each product I buy. I am not able to cut this bottle open and scoop out the remaining 15% of the product, like I'm able to with other "soft" bottle products from PC. I am having my husband drill into the bottom, so that I can get the remaining out, which is probably 4-5 more days worth, however I wish I didn't have to get so invasive with getting my full monies worth of product.I love PC and I will always use their products on my skin, it's just these hard plastic bottles I feel doesn't do the purchase justice. It is a great product though.

Great glow, hate the packaging!
from Miami, FL
I have been using the RESIST Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Retinol for years, but a few months ago it was out of stock so I decided to try this one instead. I love it so much! I apply it every evening with a couple of drops of the Resist Moisture Renewal Oil Booster for extra slip. I wake up with such youthful, glowy skin without it looking greasy (and I live in extra humid Florida!). I would give this 5 starts but for the packaging. I hate the pump, it gets stuck and I miss out on product. Also the blue sticker started to peel off and a bunch of tiny little blue pieces get mixed in with the cream. Please fix this bottle!

So much moisture!
I had been using the Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Retinol cream originally for years. However, when I went to order it a few months ago it was out-of-stock so I decided to try this product instead. OMGI like it even better! It is thick but not heavy. I use it every night & wake up with such a glow. The only thing I hate is the packaging. The pump keeps getting stuck & the blue label has started to come off little by little, so I end up with a dozen tiny pieces of blue paper mixed into the cream. Please fix this, because this product is awesome!

Unfortunately this did not work for me
from San Francisco
Unfortunately this cream really did not work well for me. I don't know if maybe I am just an anomaly cause I am allergic to a lot of things (nose, food, skin). I have super sensitive skin and also eczema. I don't have bad eczema, but it does flare up if something irritates my skin like soap on a cut, etc. I have been using aquaphor up to this point on my face and was looking for something a bit more elegant. I did not find it very moisturizing and my skin felt taute pretty soon after application. I also purchased the 1% retinol and started using it every 2-3 days on my face and neck. After about half a week of use, my skin reacted horribly to a combination of both products. My neck developed hives and unfortunately a bad itch as my eczema flared up. My face felt like it was burning and I had to wash off the product right away on my face and neck.I feel like it may just be that my skin is super sensitive and not the fault of the product. I will try to give this and the retinol one more week and possibly return it nothing improves. If you have super sensitive skin, I would definitely not recommend this cream at all. The retinol cream...maybe go super slowly and start by mixing it with a few things at first.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Be careful if you have very dry, sensitive skin.

This is such an incredible night cream for people with dry skin! Put this on before you go to bed and you will wake up with plump, hydrated skin! Its amazing just how well this stuff works. Its better than the much more expensive night cream I was using.Completely blown away by how good this night cream is. Worth every single penny!

Does it work? Not sure

About Me Minimalist
I used this product every night after cleansing. Has it helped with fine lines/general look of "ageing"? Kind of. I think? If it has, not enough to really wow me. Meanwhile, something in this is pretty hard for skin to adapt to, or at least mine. I don't think it's the retinol (because I love other PC products with retinol, such as the skin recovery line, which I'm pretty sure has it?)... maybe just how rich/heavy it is. Either way, I went like, two years without a single pimple (thanks to PC products in general, which I LOVE!), but had about one a week using this stuff. I kept at it, thinking my skin just needed time to adapt to the new product. But now that I'm finally near the end of the bottle, I most definitely won't repurchase. It's worth noting that I used this throughout summer (which is gross, hot, and crazy humid where I live), so perhaps this would be an excellent choice for winter or a dryer climate. But for sweaty weather (which often necessitates sunscreen too, of course), it's just too much product sitting on my face = breakouts. Now this is still a HUGE cut above anything non-PC, in my opinion, but I would never pick it over the Skin Recovery serum or the Moisture Boost Cream. I'd probably recommend this to a friend that lived in the Sahara; otherwise no. :)
