Comments about SKIN BALANCING Moisture Gel - 2 oz:
I like this moisturizer . It kinda goes on like a primer. It works for my skin but iff you have a drier skin, it won't be enough moisture. I will define telly keep buying it. I use it with my serum all year round . I submitted a review before but now I used it'd or 2 weeks instead off a few days. I like it. Plus it's anti wrinkle and no fragrance
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It's good for shiny oily skin that needs moisture
About Me Beauty Expert
This moisturizer. Absorbs fast and is. Good for oily or shiny skin. I do not find that it provides much moisture so I think this will work better for me in the summer. It is also suitable as a primer.

Doesn't work as described
About Me Beauty Conscious, Minimalist
I have sensitive, acne-prone, moderately oily skin. I love gel moisturizers because they're lightweight, generally don't make me break out, and wear well under makeup, which I wear most days. In terms of consistency, finish, and feel on the skin, I find this more closely resembles a silicone-based makeup primer than a gel moisturizer. It has a very smooth texture and sets to a non-greasy, satin-matte finish. I have no complaints about the texture, smell, appearance, or finish of this gel. The thing that bothers me about this product is that it is not even remotely moisturizing for me. It honestly feels like more of the formula has been devoted to silicone than moisturizing ingredients. Considering the fact that it's described as a moisturizer, this is really, really disappointing. I've been using this product for the past couple weeks as my facial moisturizer and my skin looks and feels red, dry, and irritated because this is simply not providing enough hydration. I've also noticed some unusual breakouts, redness, and rough patches that somewhat resemble eczema. I don't have eczema--I never have--so one could see why this would be concerning. Maybe this moisturizer was intended for people with oilier or less sensitive skin than mine, so if you read this review please take that into account. But for me, this moisturizer simply does not perform as described, and irritates and dries out my skin.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not moisturizing enough
About Me Beauty Expert, Minimalist, Scientist
I'm male and have oily skin, and I use this twice a day after cleansing. It's just turned winter, and I've been using the product for a few weeks. It's not moisturizing enough; my skin is dry and flaky when I use this unless I combine it with a second/different lotion. It seems to lack much oil which I thought would be a good thing since I'm very oily, but turns out my skin needs more than this product delivers. I wonder if this would work well for me in the hot and humid summer... However, I'm also concerned that the beneficial "key ingredients" are really low quantities. For example, green tea extract is green/yellow/brown in color. Yet this product is perfectly clear. That doesn't add up.

About Me Beauty Conscious
This moisturizer is great because it is light, simple and yet effective. I hate creamy moisturizers that make me break out and I have tried many gel moisturizers that leave me feeling sticky (and also break out). My skin does not react badly to this at all. I have actually never been able to sleep with a moisturizer on without breaking out until I tried this one. I am not sure it would be strong enough for super dry skin but it's perfect for my combination skin.

About Me Minimalist
I love the plastic, no-frills tube, that is great for someone who travels 300 days a year, and the way this product works on my skin - no irritation, quick absorbance and dryness relief. I just can't stand its smell which is sort of plasticky.
Miss the old formula
from Closter NJ
Similar to Margo...my skin feels dry and irritated. Please bring back the old formula for Normal to oily skin. I have to go search for something else in the stores.
Unfortunately, not suited for all oily/acne-prone skin.
I initially fell in love with the lightweight consistency and how easily it absorbed into the skin. I thought that it would be a godsend for my combination/oily skin. However, after a couple weeks of consistent use after cleanser, toner, and (night-time) exfoliant, I realized that I was breaking out badly on my cheeks (very unusual for me.) After isolating the problem in my routine, it became clear to me that this moisturizer was the problem. After applying the moisturizer, my face would get irritated and red. The morning after, I would wake up to see some new swollen and red pimples on my cheeks. Overall, I was really excited to start a Paula's Choice skincare routine after hearing so many amazing things about this brand, but unfortunately this product did not work out for me and I am very disappointed.
