Comments about Hydralight Cleanser - 16 oz:
I bought the entire Hydralight system and was very excited to start using it. I already had a cleanser that I loved (Philosophy's Purity Made Simple) but wanted to give this one a try since it was part of the system. I was disappointed that it did not remove all of my makeup, especially my eyeliner and mascara. I do not use waterproof eyeliner or mascara so I expected it to work. Sadly, it did not work for me. I will not be repurchasing this product and will continue to use my previous cleanser.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Simple, effective cleanser

About Me Budget Buyer
I just purchased my second bottle of this cleanser. I like "one step" cleansers and since I don't wear much makeup, this totally works for me. I have rosacea, sensitive skin with huge pores and dry areas. I use this cleanser at night and it works for me!
Service and delivery comments:

The best cleanser I've ever used
from Vancouver, BC
This cleanser has a bit of a bad rap because most people purchase it with the intent to use it for both makeup removal and cleansing. I wear very little makeup and remove it separately anyway, so this was not a concern for me. If you have combination, acne-prone skin like me, this is a fantastic cleanser. It never leaves my skin feeling tight or dry, true to its claims. I love the gel texture and it rinses without a trace, leaving my skin feeling so smooth and clean afterward. I can stop looking for the perfect cleanser now. Thank you Paula's Choice!

I have been using PC Skin Balancing cleanser for years and love it. I got a sample of this one along with my last order and found this surprisingly refreshing. Now, I did use it on a day I didn't wear makeup so can not verify it's makeup removing properties, but the Hydralight cleanser was so refreshing! The Skin Balancing cleanser is creamier and leaves my skin feeling a bit tight (but not in a bad way). This one leaves my skin feeling much softer. I think it would really be great with my clarisonic as it doesn't foam up as much as the skin balancing cleanser. I am seriously at a loss on my next order of which cleanser to get.

Best cleaner ever!
from northern california
I use to use the Clear cleanser and loved it. I purchase the Hydralight one because it comes in a larger bottle and is a better value. I was not sure if I would like it, but thought it couldn't be bad.I have very sensitive / reactive combination skin with an oily T-zone and one thing i look for in a cleanser is that it rinses easily without leaving any residue and without having to spend more time than needed rinsing off. This cleanser fits the bill perfectly! Yes it took a little tome getting use to the barely foaming formula, but now it has become my favorite cleanser. In terms of performance I find it to be very close to the Clear one (which does not foam either) but more gentle. I cannot speak for the makeup removing part as I use a micellar water prior to using the cleanser in the PM. Overall, a great performing and great value cleanser I recommend for sensitive combo skin!

My skin was always oily but as I age I find my skin dry during the winter and oily in the summer. I tried the Skin Balancing cleanser but found it left my skin a bit too dry and tight. This summer I switched to this product and it's perfect! It removes the oil without drying and effectively removes makeup. It's low-sudsing and rinses easily, an important feature if you wash your face at the sink.

I've been using this cleanser for over a decade, and I love it! It lives in my shower, and now my teenaged kids use it as well. It's really unscented, as in, it has no smell at all. It doesn't make my skin feel "tight" or over cleansed. I use a different cleanser in the evenings, but my mornings would not be the same without the Hydralight cleanser!
Cleans without irritation

I use this daily as a face wash used with a Clarisonic Mia in the morning and a washcloth at night. This is gentle on my sensitive skin and has not caused any breakouts. It works well to remove makeup and oil from the T-Zone without drying out the rest of my face.
All products that I have received from Paula's Choice have arrived in tact without no damage to any of the product containers. Most packages arrive within a week of placing the order, while one arrived a couple days later than one week. The delay had been noted on the USPS tracking site, so I had expected the couple day delay.
