Please Restock the Full Size
By Glad I Found Paula's

About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about CLEAR Ultra-Light Daily Fluid SPF 30+ - 2 oz:
I'm irked that the full size has been out of stock for months, into the summer months, even while Paula's Choice seems to be pushing its new "Calm Redness Relief" line. I hope this isn't a sign of foreboding... Instead I've been getting by on the travel size, which is at least at the same price point, but it's super annoying to pay for shipping to buy one travel size item. Please restock the full size!I was surprised at some of the negative reviews out there, but we all have different skin. I think some of the negativity might come from the product description suggesting it "mattefies." I wouldn't call it that at all, but then my skin is so extremely oily that I doubt there's a product on the planet that mattefies, other than an oil-absorbing sheet! I believe it does have mica in the ingredient list, which may help with oil absorption. As an everyday sunscreen, I love it because it gets absorbed into the skin quickly, it's easy to spread, and gentle enough to be used around the eyes. It sits well under my makeup too, so much to the point that I no longer find it necessary to use a primer. It does have a very fluid texture, which takes some getting used to if you're not expecting it to dribble out of the tube. My solution is to turn the tube upside down with the tip pointing up and squeeze it "up," because if you were to squeeze it down, gravity will sometimes bring out more product than you'd want at one time. The one thing I don't like is the smell...but you get used to it. So I'd say if you are looking for a lightweight sunscreen and aren't looking for much moisture, it doesn't hurt to try this. I did try the other recommended sunscreens for oily skin but this worked best for me. Hydralight still left my skin slightly greasy and the Resist Anti-aging tinted sunscreen was definitely not the right color for my golden or golden tan skin--say what you will about a "universal tone" but the white cast of the sunscreen with the orangey-brown left me looking purple on top of my brown Fiipina skin! I almost gave up after trying that and luckily tried this instead!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Waiting for the full-size of this product to come back!
from New Jersey, USA
I only have the travel-size of this moisturizer since the full-size has been out of stock for quite a while! But I think this moisturizer definitely gets the job done. It is lightweight, has a decent SPF, and is great for oily skin. It has a bit of a tint to it, but that absorbs right into the skin and you can't notice it once it's soaked in (so darker skinned people, do not worry!). Also, it is very runny, but that doesn't pose much of an issue for me, since I find that it spreads very easily and evenly on my skin. This product is amazing!

please don't discontinue!

About Me Minimalist
I absolutely ADORE this sunscreen. I have combination skin (oily T zone and chin, dry cheeks) and I am incredibly sensitive to most sunscreens. I had all but given up on wearing sunscreen at one point because it would either make my skin more oily and give me zits or it would cause me to break out in hives. I decided to try this sunscreen in concert with the other "clear" products and from day one I loved it. It mattifys without causing dryness, it stays put (I've never had it run into my eyes, and I work out doors in 100+ degrees), and it moisturizes just enough. I will be devastated if they don't continue making it! Please Paula's Choice! I need this sunscreen!

The best sunscreen
from Los Angeles, CA
I have used many of Paula's sunscreens and find them either greasy, gritty, shiny, or just 'filmy'. This one is NONE of those and sinks into my skin like a moisturizer. It is is glorious! Effective sun protection without the sunscreen feeling. And, on my acne prone skin, non-irritating. I highly recommend it!

Best for my sensitive skin
About Me Budget Buyer
I have sensitive breakout prone skin that is dry on the cheeks.Initially, I was afraid of trying it as I was afraid of it being too dry for my sensitive skin. However it was not. It applies smoothly, easily and my skin stays matte and comfortable all day long. Unlike the Skin Balancing SPF which sometimes has a stinging effect, this one never.I am using my 2nd tube now and have been wanting to replenish it but it has been out of stock for some time.Pls bring it back ASAP and pls dont discontinue this great product.
Best sunscreen for oily skin
from Philadelphia, PA
I'm 42 years old, and this is the first sunscreen that leaves my skin feeling clean after I've applied it. There's no feeling of a film on my skin. It just disappears. I hope it's continued forever because it's all I'm ever going to buy.

Healing, Healthy, Disregard The "Mattifying" Title
from San Francisco, CA
I like this sunscreen so much because it's very light on the skin, has a good punch of antioxidants to help further protect and heal my skin, and looks beautiful under makeup!Yes, it is very watery, but I honestly like that because it feels like nothing once applied. I work with it in sections; first I slather and spread it on one part of my face (e.g. forehead), then wait for that to somewhat settle in and move on to the next (e.g. right cheek), and then go back on to my forehead to effortlessly blend the rest in. This might sound like it's not so "effortless", but it spreads SO easily once it's soaked in a little, and without the tugging or rubbing, which happens a lot with other sunscreens and my skin absolutely hates. This is said to be for oily skin or combo skin, like me, although I disagree with the "mattifying" part of the name. Anyone with very oily skin will find this to not have a mattifying effect, but it does not exacerbate oil production. Alternatively for oilier skin types, I would recommend the Hydralight SPF. But even with my oily skin, I find this to give me a beautiful healthy glow underneath my makeup, and works well throughout the day, without looking greasy.I have been using this sunscreen since about the beginning of the year, and must say I really enjoy it and plan to stick to this! Otherwise, I love how this soothes and calms any redness on my face, has helped heal acne marks faster, and hydrates with just the right amount!
I started using the Paula's Choice Clear line in December of 2015. I have difficult skin: acne prone (cystic acne on jaw-line which correlates with my menstrual cycle) with areas of dryness on my cheeks. The Clear line has drastically changed my skin for the better. I rarely breakout anymore and my skin has become more "normal". I no longer has areas of dryness on my cheeks either. Love Paula's Choice! I have one problem with this product though and it is this: I purchased this product in December 2015. The expiration date for the product I received is April 2016. I use this product every morning as a light moisturizer/sunscreen. The product expired yesterday and even with daily use since Decmber, I still had about a third of the bottle left! There is no way I could have used this whole bottle up in four months. I really wish it would have had an expiration date far enough in the future to last as least 6 months. I feel as if I wasted some money by having to throw away so much product because it expired before I could finish it. Otherwise, this is an excellent product.Lightweight, absorbs quickly, does not aggregate acne-prone skin. Excellent sun-protection with just enough mositurization for acne-prone skin.

Stings a lot
Tried using daily under tinted moisturiser but by the end of the day my skin was extremely oily so used alone as sunscreen. My eyes would sting a lot which I didn't realise was due to the mosturiser the first time. Ended up having to wash it off because it was so uncomfortable for my eyes. So now trying to use it up just on my chest/neck area which is not what I bought it for but don't want to waste it. Guess it's just not for me.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Great Under Makeup
About Me Brand Buyer
There's a little bit of stinging upon application of this product (and I'm not sensitive to chemical UV filters), but the fluid texture absorbs quickly. Finish is slightly sticky (typical of many Paula's sunscreen), however makeup goes on smoothly on top of it. I have normal/combination skin and I love that this sunscreen is not as oil controlling as the RESIST tinted SPF30. It held up well throughout the day, not too oily, not too drying. The trial size is a gem for traveling. All this considered, really good product.
