Great product but very pink

About Me Budget Buyer
Comments about RESIST Super-Light Daily Defense SPF 30 - 2 oz:
This is a great product overall. It is both moisturising and non-greasy which is perfect for my aging but still oily skin. It has a beautiful texture, rubs in easily and smoothly and the degree of tint and coverage is great. However, as other reviewers have noted, the tint is pink and is not best suited to those with yellow skin tones like me. Because I also flush easily, the pinkness can make me look overheated and well, just odd. This has long been a problem for me with Paula's Choice tinted products and foundations (when they existed). For some reason yellow toned options have never been offered and it's really frustrating. Over the years Paula has frequently critiqued other lines for being too yellow, but there really are people out there who can't use pink-toned products. My way of getting around this with this otherwise great moisturiser is to mix in a little yellow-based foundation - however this affects the texture and degree of coverage so it's not entirely satisfactory. Please team, please, think about the range of skin tones out there and offer options for those of us who look like red oompa loompas when we use pink-toned bases. This is the only reason I haven't given 5 stars to this otherwise great tinted moisturiser and sun protector
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great formulation but bad tint
About Me Brand Buyer
This all-mineral formulation is great for oily, sensitive skin that requires an all-mineral sunscreen. However, the tint is not for those of us with fair, yellow-undertoned skin! The tint is awful, pinkish-orange and looks way too dark and orange on truly fair skin. Please make a non-tinted version of this!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Best tinted moisturizer/sunscreen EVER!!!
My skin is super oily and for years now I have been searching for a good mineral based daily sunscreen that didn't make me even more greasy and shiny. THIS IS IT!!! Its tinted so it helps cover my rosacea and it makes my pores look smaller! The color is a tad bit dark for my skin tone so I set it with a white translucent powder and that makes it match perfectly. I get a little shiny about mid-day on my t-zone so I blot with a clean tissue and it still looks good. Now if I could only find a night time foundation without sunscreen that works as well as this product I would be all set.

I found my daytime mositurizer
This is my favorite daytime moisturizer. I have combination skin that leans dry and at night I slather on thick, greasy moisturizers but during the day I want something that dries matte and won't make me shiny. This is perfect for that. Between the slight tint and the matte finish, I almost never feel like I need to add foundation or bb cream after I put this on but I also like that it absorbs quickly and feels nice under makeup if I am doing a full face.

Just incredible; the BEST matte tinted sunscreen out there.
from Omaha, NE
This is my second bottle and I just had to get on here to rave about it again how much I love this tinted matte moisturizer. I swear I have tried over 20 other brands and spent so much and only PC's resist daily defense has produced the lasting result i look for. It is the perfect amount of sheer, NATURAL coverage and you literally cannot detect there is any "makeup" on; even if I apply a ton of it one day. It just does not cake or anything yet still provides that adequate sheer coverage that leaves your face perfectly smoothed and tones down any redness while still looking natural and not made up AT ALL. It is just so perfect I am so obsessed. This is stuff has brought me so much happiness the past year and I will never ever stray away from it!!! Thanks Paula and team for making this marvelous moisturizer!! :):)
Cosmetically Elegant... but drying.
from Northwest Canada
As a male, it is really hard finding a physical filter sunscreen that is unnoticeable; Let alone one that moisturizes beautifully. For about a week I used this product every single morning after washing my face. Blends in incredibly well, evens out my skin tone, and gives my skin a nice healthy matte finish. It even plays well with facial hair! Although it does all these things wonderfully, I won't be using this product anymore. It seems to suck the moisture out of my skin, even when being used on top of my morning moisturizer of choice. Makes my faces extremely tight. This is indeed an amazing sunscreen for oily skinned people, and you should totally give it a try if you have this skin type...Maybe I'll try one of the other Paulas Choice sunscreens next. It just sucks that they are so expensive.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery came a few days before expected. Wonderful as always Paulas Choice!
Great texture, great as makeup
from Lone Tree, CO
I really like this sunscreen. I'm unsure whether to make this my daily driver only because it seems so expensive. However, Paula's other sunscreens have also creeped up in price over time. I used to pay half of what they charge now for these products. Ok, gripe about price over. This has a lovely matte finish, but it spreads very evenly and easily. It's not greasy. I have completely combo skin. Some places are dry, some are oily, and I break out. This evens that out very nicely without being drying or heavy. The tint is another perk. Sometimes my acne can become very red and inflamed. That is when I turn to this as it completely cuts the redness and makes my skin look more even. Also, I hate wearing makeup and only wear it rarely. This is perfect because this with some powder gives a lovely finish for those evenings out without being heavy or cakey at all. I definitely recommend everyone try this.

Perfect for any day
from Lexington, KY
I use this everyday. I find chemical sunscreens tend to give me breakouts so I love that this is zinc oxide based. I use it when I am going to the gym and on weekends when I don't wear makeup, I use in on weekdays under makeup. I love the light tint and it dries matte because I tend to be shiny all the time. The only slight con is that it is too drying under my eyes as I am nearing 50. I use a more emollient sunscreen under my eyes. I can't live without this!
Matte, but moisturizing
from Vancouver, Canada
This is the best sunscreen I've tried. It's moisturizing, but dries off to a matte finish that's perfect as a makeup primer. However, I can't say the same for dry skin types. This may not be moisturizing enough. The sunscreen also contains a 'sheer' tint. Take note, for those below MAC NC or NW 30, the tint will be visible. But it does serve to even out most skin tones, so no complaints there.

The Chanel Suit of Tinted Moisture +SPF
from Oakland, CA
This product is fantastic. Great feel, never clogs pores, incredible sun protection. The ONLY problem is that the color is too light. I "cocktailed" this product with the Barely There Sheer Matte SPF30 in Level 2-3 (depending on the season) for years, because it was the best of both worlds: a nourishing product from the RESIST line (this one) plus a natural, seamless shot of warm color (from the Barely There). As many of you know, the Barely There is discontinued, and I tried the RESIST on it's own again, but white cast and peach tones are just too light for my olive skin (even in winter). So Paula, you and your products are awesome, and I know we can find a solution. :) Either offer darker shades of the RESIST, or bring back the Barely There in some form for us Olive-tone (and darker) girls! Thank you!!
