Superb Product; Only one small downside

Comments about RESIST Super-Light Daily Defense SPF 30 - 2 oz:
I LOVE this sunscreen. My skin is picky about two things: foundations/bb creams and sunscreens. I've tried almost every PC sunscreen, tried her BB cream, and have tried other brands, but out of all of them this one comes out on top. I honestly would describe this more as a BB cream because of how it acts on skin. When I saw that it was tinted, I got a little worried; especially since when it initially goes on it looks shiny and gross. Once it settles into the skin however (about 10 or so minutes) it leaves behind a satin matte finish, almost looking like powder. It is also resistant to oil and sweat compared to other stuff I've used. While it doesn't resist all day (I don't think any product does really) during winter I get about 7 hours before oil/sweat starts to show through, and maybe 5 hours during summer. When used in combination with the serums, toners and etc, I didn't even bother with foundation, just used this and a light dusting of powder. Now even though I recommend this highly, I don't use it anymore even though I love it so much. I work jobs where I move around a lot and sweat, which means every now and then I'll be touching my face to wipe something off. Even though this stuff stays on pretty well, say if I absentmindedly scratch an itch on my face or blow my nose, I'll get the wiped off residue of the sunscreen on my clothes, tissue, whatever I'm using. I follow the "reapply sunscreen" rule very seriously. Problem with this though is that this isn't the kind of sunscreen I can slap on without looking at my face; I need a mirror and some time to make sure it's rubbed in properly. If I don't do that I'll be left with visible tinted brow hair or streaks on the face. Maybe if I worked office jobs it wouldn't be such a hassle, but since I'm on the go moving around constantly, I need a sunscreen that requires less maintenance. All in all great product, and I will always recommend it highly even if I can't use it myself.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Amazing but can't buy because of the tint - PLEASE take out!
from Washington, DC
This is the best moisturizer for oily skin - works like a dream, dries to matte finish, stays like that the whole day, no blotting required. Would love to purchase indefinitely but the tint is just awful - it dries to blotchy orange almost immediately, and it's also much too dark for my skin. I see the same comment everywhere - please offer another option without tint! I've been using another (worse) product for a couple of years and check back every couple of months hoping PC has a color-free option - would stock up immediately and spread the word!
Perfect base for other products

About Me Minimalist
I use this product with Skin Recovery Daily Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 because if I use alone it seems to dry my skin too much and together they are just right (not too drying and not too oily) . I have found that if you find a lotion or cream to mix this with (a little of both mixed together) it works well and stays on all day.

Too Drying for Normal Skin
from Richmond, VA
I used this product daily now for almost a month and while the finish (being matte) worked wonderfully, overall it dried out my skin. The dryness got so bad that even a few days after stoping the use of this product, the skin area around my mouth and chin remained flakey. Because the product was too drying, my skin tried to over-compensate by producing more oil and I ended up with acne along my chin line. The color/tint was fine--no issues there. This makes for the third sun-protection product from Paula's Choice that does not agree with my skin (skin-balancing was also too drying). The Resist for normal-dry skin was too sticky and oily, and now this one left a very tight feeling on my skin. Why can't there be one for normal skin?

Wanted to love, but product fell way short
By Cyrious H

I have very normal skin that can move into combination skin sometimes due to hormones and/or weather. This is by far, my least favorite PC product I have purchased and my least favorite mineral based sunscreen I have purchased. The mattifying agents are very strong which is good for very oily skin as my skin will stay matte looking for 12+ hours a day under makeup. That being said, the same mattifying agents make this product very hard to blend into the skin as it dries very quickly. I have extremely fair skin and this product dries blotchy and very orange tinted on my skin. I have used my fingers, beauty blender, brushes to apply and all produce the same effect. In order to use this under foundation, I have to wear a full coverage foundation to counteract the orange tint. This product also has caused me to breakout and makes my skin dry. This product also isn't could if you use any primer/foundation that has oil in it as the silicones seem to react against each other causing the resist sunscreen to peel up and create and unsightly mess. I keep trying to find ways to use it that will work for me, but it's more of a hassle than it's worth. I will not buy again and stick to other mineral sunscreen formulations.
Tried all of PC's oily skin sunscreen products and was disappointed with each one. Enter Resist Super Light Daily Defense SPF30. Perfect! Truly matte, even several hours later! I was leery of the tint, and upon applying the color looked awful on my skin. However, the product soon absorbed to an undetectable smooth, matte finish. Now I don't need a foundation in the summer at all! Worth the money, especially since I'm not wasting money looking for something else. Very, very happy with this product!

Leaves skin soft and not greasy
from Chicago, IL
About Me Beauty Conscious
This is one of the best facial sunscreens I've used that both controls oil and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. I have combination skin that can lean to the dry side, and in the summer my forehead can get oily. This product manages to lightly hydrate while keeping my T zone oil under control. The tint coverage is light and works for my skin tone, but I would like to see PC either eliminate the tint altogether or offer a wider spectrum of colors.
I love this sunscreen. It is lightweight, rubs in well and I LOVE the tint. Please don't ever take this out! I hate wearing a lot of makeup and find it provides the perfect amount of coverage. I also have very sensitive skin and I have never had a problem with this sunscreen. Great product, would highly recommend it.

Best sunscreen ever used
from HCM city, Vietnam
Best sunscreen I have ever used hands down. Please do not ever ever discontinue this product ever, PC team !! For some reason, I'm sure that I cannot use anything with Titanium Dioxide in it and thank God PC made this sunscreen. It's wonderful for me. The only thing that I would like to be better is the color. I'm Asian so I'm quite pale, so if PC team can have this one with a little lighter/brighter tin to it, it'd be more than perfect. Oh and maybe....can it also have higher SPF? Thank you for everything PC team! And yes I did recommend this to a few friends of mine.
A strong option so far
from Sunnyvale, CA
Trying this out with a couple of samples! My impressions so far:Don't love the feel on initial application (sits on top of the skin instead of sinking in) but this gets better eventually and it feels nice once it's dried. Unobtrusive tint, not noticeable at all. No discernable smell. Sweated off a little quickly on an average California day walking down the street.
