Just incredible; the BEST matte tinted sunscreen out there.

Comments about RESIST Super-Light Daily Defense SPF 30 - 2 oz:
This is my second bottle and I just had to get on here to rave about it again how much I love this tinted matte moisturizer. I swear I have tried over 20 other brands and spent so much and only PC's resist daily defense has produced the lasting result i look for. It is the perfect amount of sheer, NATURAL coverage and you literally cannot detect there is any "makeup" on; even if I apply a ton of it one day. It just does not cake or anything yet still provides that adequate sheer coverage that leaves your face perfectly smoothed and tones down any redness while still looking natural and not made up AT ALL. It is just so perfect I am so obsessed. This is stuff has brought me so much happiness the past year and I will never ever stray away from it!!! Thanks Paula and team for making this marvelous moisturizer!! :):)

Cosmetically Elegant... but drying.

About Me Brand Buyer
As a male, it is really hard finding a physical filter sunscreen that is unnoticeable; Let alone one that moisturizes beautifully. For about a week I used this product every single morning after washing my face. Blends in incredibly well, evens out my skin tone, and gives my skin a nice healthy matte finish. It even plays well with facial hair! Although it does all these things wonderfully, I won't be using this product anymore. It seems to suck the moisture out of my skin, even when being used on top of my morning moisturizer of choice. Makes my faces extremely tight. This is indeed an amazing sunscreen for oily skinned people, and you should totally give it a try if you have this skin type...Maybe I'll try one of the other Paulas Choice sunscreens next. It just sucks that they are so expensive.
Service and delivery comments:

About Me Budget Buyer
I really like this sunscreen. I'm unsure whether to make this my daily driver only because it seems so expensive. However, Paula's other sunscreens have also creeped up in price over time. I used to pay half of what they charge now for these products. Ok, gripe about price over. This has a lovely matte finish, but it spreads very evenly and easily. It's not greasy. I have completely combo skin. Some places are dry, some are oily, and I break out. This evens that out very nicely without being drying or heavy. The tint is another perk. Sometimes my acne can become very red and inflamed. That is when I turn to this as it completely cuts the redness and makes my skin look more even. Also, I hate wearing makeup and only wear it rarely. This is perfect because this with some powder gives a lovely finish for those evenings out without being heavy or cakey at all. I definitely recommend everyone try this.

Perfect for any day
from Lexington, KY
I use this everyday. I find chemical sunscreens tend to give me breakouts so I love that this is zinc oxide based. I use it when I am going to the gym and on weekends when I don't wear makeup, I use in on weekdays under makeup. I love the light tint and it dries matte because I tend to be shiny all the time. The only slight con is that it is too drying under my eyes as I am nearing 50. I use a more emollient sunscreen under my eyes. I can't live without this!
Matte, but moisturizing
from Vancouver, Canada
This is the best sunscreen I've tried. It's moisturizing, but dries off to a matte finish that's perfect as a makeup primer. However, I can't say the same for dry skin types. This may not be moisturizing enough. The sunscreen also contains a 'sheer' tint. Take note, for those below MAC NC or NW 30, the tint will be visible. But it does serve to even out most skin tones, so no complaints there.

The Chanel Suit of Tinted Moisture +SPF
from Oakland, CA
This product is fantastic. Great feel, never clogs pores, incredible sun protection. The ONLY problem is that the color is too light. I "cocktailed" this product with the Barely There Sheer Matte SPF30 in Level 2-3 (depending on the season) for years, because it was the best of both worlds: a nourishing product from the RESIST line (this one) plus a natural, seamless shot of warm color (from the Barely There). As many of you know, the Barely There is discontinued, and I tried the RESIST on it's own again, but white cast and peach tones are just too light for my olive skin (even in winter). So Paula, you and your products are awesome, and I know we can find a solution. :) Either offer darker shades of the RESIST, or bring back the Barely There in some form for us Olive-tone (and darker) girls! Thank you!!

I have been looking for a mineral sunscreen that is not only combo skin friendly, but also something that plays well with my foundation.. This is it! I was hesitant at first knowing there was a tint yet I am glad I gave it a chance because the tint works beautifully with my light-medium skin tone leaving no white film... In fact, this product leaves no film whatsoever. I always let the product sit for about 10 minutes before applying any makeup and this sunscreen sets beautifully to a matte, no sticky residue finish. I also have noticed my oily t-zone is controlled better than ever and that is pretty amazing! HG status.
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
from Washington, DC
If I had to pick the best skincare or complexion product I've ever used, this stuff would be it. We need SPF daily, and this is so light you can massage a ton for adequate sun protection without ever feeling remotely close to greasy. The result is skin that looks polished and a little evened out, you only need to add your foundation to really red areas. The formula is not hydrating for dry skin, it's perfect for oily, combo and even normal. So in the winter months, as I have combo, I mix this with a more moistuzing SPF to find a level of moisture that's in the middle or use moisturizer under and it's still perfect. I'm on my sixth bottle since I started using this a couple of years ago. I personally reccomend using the resist toner then follow with this for really exceptional performance, your skin feels and looks amazing with just these two products. Can't reccomend any higher.
My Holy Grail daily facial sunscreen!
By Julie, LME,COE
from Seattle. WA
This is by far my absolute favorite daily facial sunscreen. It's very easy to apply, feels like nothing on the skin, and because it's lightly tinted, there's no white cast. This tint evens out my skin tone, wears beautifully under makeup, and can even be worn on it's own for a very casual makeup look. While it doesn't control oil, it does not feel greasy and heavy on my skin at all. This is a true all physical sunscreen that provides excellent UVA/UVB full broad spectrum protection. I'm a licensed Master Esthetician (WA), and I have access to many professional and MD only brands so I've literally tried them all, but this sunscreen is by far the best on my extremely oily, acne/clog prone, and now menopausal skin. I really believe all skin types will love how this feels and wears.
Not for medium-dark skin
By Sarah Red
from Stanford, CA
This seemed like it would an ideal sunscreen -- tinted, neutral, physical-only sunscreen packed with antioxidants and mattifying for oily skin, with incredible reviews. But alas. Sigh. It wasn't the worst, but it just wasn't something I could use after several days of testing.Using a proper amount of sunscreen make this feel somewhat like a paste, especially towards the end of the day. And, no matter how much I rubbed in, the sunscreen was wayyyyy too light for my neutral-toned NC 40-42 skintone. Universal tint...maybe for Caucasian skin, but not for anyone darker than NC35 (even that may be pushing it). It also made my concealer/foundation really odd and greasy by the end of the day. Wish I could've loved this because of the fabulous formulation, but the search for a light, protective sunscreen for my tan acne-prone skin continues! (Also I'm relatively sure this broke me out, but that's just how my skin is -- super reactive).
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
