Comments about Resist BHA 9 Treatment - 0.3 oz:
I have not used this product all over, yet. I have used it for stubborn acne and it has helped tremendously. I also use it on new pimples and it helps them not become large and red.

I really like this product. I changed to this after using the 2% BHA gel and liquid formulas. I felt like those weren't enough for me. And for some reason my skin seems to get more oily when I use the liquid BHA. The BHA 9, however, does a great job. While I'm not totally free of a clogged pores, this does a great job of clearing them the best anything ever has, and, I find that if I feel a large pimple brewing, I apply this directly on it once or twice and it's gone the next day. I typically apply one pump of this to my entire face 2-3 nights a week, alternating with the 1% retinol cream on other nights. I get the benefits of both a strong BHA and retinol without any irritation. Win win.

I had higher expectations. I have been using it for almost two months and my results are the same as other less expensive products I have tried. Disappointingly ordinary.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Minimalist
I bought a sample size of this product about a year and a half ago to try to dissolve several large hard white bumps on the bridge and crease of my nose. After a few months, I didn't see a difference so I quit using the product. When another, smaller white bump appeared between my eyebrows, and one right on my upper lip-line, I decided to make some changes, and one of them was to restart BHA-9, this time with a fresh, full-sized product. This time, the magic worked: it took two months of nightly application, but a few weeks ago, the huge white bump on the bridge of my nose worked itself to the surface and finally popped out, leaving an ugly crater in its wake. But I kept using the BHA-9, and now the skin is smooth and clear. The bump between my eyebrows is nearly gone and as a bonus, the wrinkles have diminished. I still have the tiny white bump above my lip and the one on the crease but they are both smaller so I will keep applying it. I thought I was stuck with these bumps for good. I was wrong. This product took time to work its magic, but it did work. I will repurchase this.

It worked, after a while
Ok so, I really doubted that this product could work on sebaceous hyperplasia. I tried this product a bit, put it back on my self for a few months when I saw no results in the first 2 weeks, and then tried again for a few weeks, alternating with other BHA products. And darned if the bumps haven't shrunk. I have patches of flaking skin where I have applied it over the last few weeks, but the bumps I have been working on are gone. Ok, so, I love the product after all.
I am in my 50s, with normal to dry skin, and this product as well as the 2% BHA liquid have improved my skin dramatically. After experimenting, I found that I get the best result by applying the BHA 9% all over my face at night time, rather than a spot treatment. My skin is noticeably smoother in the morning. I apply the 2% BHA during the day.Of course the product is too expensive to do this as often as I'd like, so 1/week. Also the product is initially sticky, and then becomes tacky for the 1st hour. Lastly, while I like the pump dispenser, it often leaks after use.

See ya, pimples and blackheads!

About Me Beauty Expert
I was particularly stressed back in January and had a big breakout. My acne had been largely controlled with Paula's Clear kit prior to this breakout. I had a couple huge cystic pimples and several smaller ones along my jawline. This stuff really helped get rid of the stubborn cystic acne so much faster that usual. It really helps diminish the look of the pores on my nose and keeps my nose mostly blackhead free. It's also magic for whiteheads. If I get a little whitehead, this almost always flattens it out by morning. I would give the product 5 stars, but as many have mentioned, the pump on this product needs improvement. You can't control the amount that gets pumped out.

I am very disappointed, this was not a cheap product and it did not work at all. I saw no change in my skins appearance.

Perfect for my hypersensitive, acnegenic skin w filaments
1. My skin is extremely hypersensitive -- and if I give my skin enough time to dry after a wash or shower (wait at least five minutes), I experience no irritation at all.2. This does not eliminate post-acne hyperpigmentation overnight, but it **significantly** reduces it, and the effects keep happening with each application, such that what would take months to lighten or disappear takes days, weeks.3. It loosens the filaments (those white plugs around our noses) so that with a clay mask and careful pushing (using sterile pads), I can get them out. I have extremely stubborn filaments -- and I don't even know how my petite face can harbor so much gunk under its skin -- but PC products, plus another manufacturer's clay mask, does what NOTHING else has done, which is to reduce them.3. I use this daily, in combination with Paula's Choice SkincareResist Weekly Retexturizing Foaming Treatment 4% BHA, which I use once a week -- I will leave a review of the Foaming Treatment, but want to say that it is AMAZING for smoothing out my skin.4. I understand that people feel the pump pushes too much product out. But I don't think that's something very concerning. For one, if I am careful, I can get just the amount I need. But I also think that this issue is not something that can be fixed, or should be fixed. For the product to come out in a smaller amount, it would have to be more viscous. I would not want it to be any heavier or stickier. I don't want the formula to change at all. I'd rather get too much out in one pump (but I usually don't), then have a different product to satisfy dispensing requirements.
i thought this would be a life saver for spots. but i don't think it really did anything, maybe some blemishes cannot be beat. So surprised it wasn't more effective! :((((((
