Not for those vulnerable to blocked pores
from Alexandria, VA
About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about RESIST Anti-Aging Eye Cream - 0.5 oz:
This felt and looked wonderful as is the case with many eye creams. Sadly, the next day, there were the telltale red bumps of blocked pores from a too-heavy formula. Had to give away to a friend with drier skin.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Eye Love It!
from Perrysburg, OH
I received the RESIST Anti-Aging Eye Cream to test abd review as part of the BzzAgent program. I have been looking for a good eye cream for awhile because I am noticing more and more fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. Some creams are too "moist" and others are too "dry" --- the Paula's Choice is just right -- like a balm for the eyes.I apply it morning and night after cleaning my face. I have noticed a big improvement in the fine lines and wrinkles, as well as the puffiness that I have struggled with for many years. At night, I apply before bed to let it hydrate while I sleep.I have been using Paula's Choice products for more than a year and I've been very pleased, not only because I get good results, but also because they are fragrance free and are never tested on animals.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Really Like the Eye Cream
By Les H
from Dallas, TX
I've had very oily skin all over my face up until about 6 month ago when I developed dry under eyes. I got this as a free sample with another order and just ordered the full-size. A little goes a long way, as I have been using my sample for close to a month and haven't finished it yet. I have tried multiple eye creams and this one is the only one I've found that doesn't cause me to get bumps under my eyes. It is moisturizing, a little thick, but it sinks in after about 10-15 minutes. I use it in the daytime under my makeup and at night. I definitely recommend this to those with sensitive skin.
Service and delivery comments:
Product arrived promptly and was well packaged.

Impossible to pat under eyes
By Marti H
About Me Minimalist
I like what this product does. I have sensitive eyes and it doesn't seep or make them burn. Seems to soften creases. My complaint is that you absolutely cannot pat this cream under your eyes as directed. It is so thick and lumpy that you have to rub fairly vigorously to get it to spread under your eye area. Perhaps I could blend it with my PC moisturizer to thin it down, but I don't think I would purchase it again as this creates an extra step that I could avoid with a different eye cream.

Paula said for years that we don't need a separate cream for the eye area but she never met my skin. I am combination with an oily nose but I also get dry around the eye area. This eye cream works perfectly for me, it hydrates and plumps my fine lines without migrating to other areas on my face like some eye creams can do. I also have very sensitive skin and some other high-end eye creams have caused peeling for me but Paula's is extremely gentle. Another plus is the tiny amount that you need to use...I literally put 2 pin-head size dots on the back of my hand then use my ring finger to pat it under my eye and even up onto my lid and brow bone. I see a definite softening and plumping of my eye lines. Thank you Paula for finally giving us an eye cream!

Before the campaign, I was concerned about fine lines and crow's feet around my eyes. I tried the Paula's Choice Resist Anti-Aging Eye Cream, courtesy of BzzAgent, for 2 weeks and applied it under my eyes and along the temples every night after washing my face. The product is a bit oily and the first few times I used it, I felt a tingling sensation on my skin but I had no other allergic-type reaction to it so I kept using it. I took close-up photos before and an after using for 2 weeks, both while smiling and not smiling, to get an accurate depiction of what the results are. I changed the color to black and white to minimize the effects of different lighting. As you can see, in the "not smiling" photo there isn't much difference, but apparently I had some dark circles that went away and some minor improvements in wrinkles there. In the "smiling" photo, there may be some difference in how deep the major wrinkles are, but I also may not have been smiling as big, which would change how deep the wrinkles are. All in all, I think there might have been some minor improvements but I wasn't blown away by the product.

Eye think this is pretty good.
from North Carolina
I waited to go through a tube of this before issuing a verdict; I wanted to see if this "rare proprietary blend" of (widely available and used) ingredients would make a difference in the one part of my face that isn't oily. Seems as though a lot of reviews don't like the texture, but I do! This is easy to apply and it stays put, even through a night of smashing one's face into a pillow. That's impressive! I do think this product worked well at its claim to moisturize, but I cannot say that I noticed any brightening whatsoever. But it moisturizes quite well, and does not migrate to the eyes due to the thicker texture. Even after this is washed off in the morning, it leaves the area feeling hydrated. While I am not "wow-ed" by this product, I do think it performs as stated, and texture is somewhat unique.
Shouldn't be an eye cream

Since I really think the BHA 2% gel is awesome in use and value (one bottle lasts forever), I thought that I would enjoy Paula's eye cream way more. I wouldn't be surprised that it is good on the moisturizing and quality side (seeing all the great ingredients it has), but it really doesn't even start to compare to most of the eye products I have or have had (I have dark circles and uneven skin above the eyes-------this product seems to do nothing for either). I will stick to putting my Body Shop Vitamin E eye cream along with Neostrata Vitamin C Concentrate---my eyes do look way more awesome once I put these on (I only tried Paula's eye cream because a travel size came free with my last order).
