Glass bottles and bathrooms don't mix
About Me Minimalist
Comments about RESIST C15 Super Booster - 0.67 oz:
In general, I think the product is good. However it comes in a glass bottle that is easy to break, and having oil and glass shards all over my bathroom is miserable to clean and dangerous. The product is fine, but I'll look elsewhere for a non-glass option. Bathrooms where you are often barefoot and easily breakable glass aren't a good mix in my opinion.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

not worth it
By Nearly 40
Have used this product alone, with the resist "super" serum and the "ultra light" serum. I like how it cuts the heaviness of the super serum. Don't have any issues with it, but can't tell if it's working either. I won't buy it again.

I am purchasing my second bottle
from South Plainfield, NJ
About Me Beauty Conscious
This is a great Vitamin C product. I store it in the refrigerator and I have had no visible oxidation in over 3 months. You must refrigerate this vitamin C product. I have tried Nufountain vitamin C, but it wasn't very effective and I ended up with crystals in the product. I mix this with May Coop Raw Sauce in the am, and wear it under sunscreen on most days. My skin is noticeable brighter when I use it and it reduces my dark circles as well.Great stuff.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This was my first foray into using Vitamin C, I'm fairly new to using more than just a cleanser and a moisturizer. My skin is very sensitive and Paula's Choice is the first product line I've been able to use with no irritation. With that said, this product isn't very good. As others have said, it oxidizes very quickly. Once it turns orange it's actually pro-oxidant and not good for skin. I'm not sure either the sample or full size I have had were either never oxidized to begin with. So.... I think more work needs done on the formulation.

Works well, but the bottle is an ultimate waste of money
This is a great product, if you have the money to spare. But it's next to impossible to finish a bottle in the three months it lasts before its expiry date. If they update the packaging (and adjust the price to reflect packaging size) I'll reconsider purchasing.I feel that this complaint is the same sort of criticism Paula and her team would level toward another product with similar issues.

Oxidizes too quickly, poor value.
from Bay Area, CA
About Me Beauty Expert
I used this for a couple of years, and did find it helpful in evening and brightening skin tone. However, I've given it up - it actually is a poor value because it oxidizes (turns dark amber) so quickly after opening the bottle. I even keep a small amount in a sample bottle for daily use, refilling from the full size bottle (which is stored in a dark closet) - but it still doesn't slow down the oxidation. If there was another way to package or formulate this product so it wouldn't oxidize (and thus waste) so quickly, I'll be first in line to buy. Otherwise, I'm going to pass from now on.

Smell? Who cares, it works!
By Sheena Bo Beana
from Estes Park, CO
This stuff smells a bit like hot dogs, but it airs out quickly...I don't care because it works!I've been using Paula's Choice products for over a year. My skin has gone from acne prone and oily to clear and normal. After my active breakouts were cleared, I was left with hyper-pigmentation on my chin from my most persistent breakouts. I started using the C15 mixed into my PC serum, and I have ZERO red-marks on my chin. They have all lightened, and now I'm comfortable going out makeup-free (well, with just my tinted PC Resist Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 which provides light coverage).I, like many other reviewers, bought the sample size container for daily use, and I refill it with the regular-sized bottle stored in my refrigerator. My first regular-sized bottle (opened 2x per day) lasted 2 months; however, my second bottle, stored in the refrigerator and opened every other week, is still crystal clear after over 4 months.

After several years I gave up
By Running from wrinkles
from Home of the Oregon Ducks
I used this product for several years but I have given up. I used it daily mixing 4 drops into my serum in the morning. I found that if you don't mix it into a serum, it is so runny that it's hard to apply and it runs out of your hand before you can get it on your face. I do think it works and love what it does for my skin. It's an amazing product which is why I hung in there so long. The issue I have is how it changes color so quickly. It darkens to become an orange amber after opening. I have fair skin and you can see the oxidized vitamin c on my face. It tints me orange like I am wearing a cheap self tanner. I have switched to the 25 percent "spot" vitamin c also mixing a pea size amount in ,y serum. It's much more expensive and it doesn't work any better that I can see. But because it's in a tube and has a base silicone or cream, it doesn't oxidize. This great liquid would be great in the pen style dispenser that Paula has for the firming liquid. Paula knows this product oxidizes and changes color but continues to package and sell it in a container that allows air in. I would like to see that addressed. I'm actually thinking of changing brands for the first time on this product because the 25% is so expensive and this product would be fine if it was packaged better.
