About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about RESIST Hyaluronic Acid Booster - 0.67 oz:
For those seeking to achieve a soft dewy complexion, this product is for you. Hyaluronic Acid Booster serum is the perfect addition to my morning routine. Those with dryer skin types, this product doesn't provide a lot of moisture, but is complementary when paired with other products. I do wish it was a little cheaper, I tend to use a lot of it!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Travel size review
from California, Ca
Omg. The travel size is ridiculously tiny. I would call it a sample size. Not worth the price. You are better off buying the full size bottle.

About Me Minimalist
Could not decide if this was helping my skin look less wrinkled or not. Stopped using for a few weeks. Got a really good look at my face under magnification. Used twice and the difference is remarkable! Will NEVER stop using this again. My face looks much less wrinkled and saggy. Love, love, love this product.

Great, another dropper bottle.
from Airdrie, Alberta
Thank you, Tina, from New York for explaining how best to use the dropper! I wasn't sure, but thought my bottle might be empty, so I used Tina's advice and squeezed the rubber part 3 times, then opened by grabbing the silver part, and voila, a whole bunch of product was now in the tube. Doing it my way by just squeezing the rubber part a couple times made me think I had none left. Yes, I wish this HA was packaged differently, mainly b/c it's so goopy. I like tubes best, anyway, that's just me. When I'm done squeezing out product from a tube, I don't let any air go back in by gingerly keeping the tube squeezed and simultaneously putting the cap back on. And, when the tube is about gone, I snip off the top and use a q-tip to dig out the last of it. (I stopped buying the dropper vitamin C, I do not like it's packaging - I just don't believe in it for keeping air out. Can't tell you how much of it I've wasted b/c the colour turned before 3 months was up!) Sure wish I could see how much I have left in this HA bottle! But, in order to ensure I get all the HA out that may be sticking to the bottom/sides, I'll put some kind of liquid in the bottle and shake well. Even just a few drops of distilled water should be okay to mix with any remaining HA, since I believe water is the first ingredient.

You already know I will repurchase
I tried this, morning and night, and discovered that my physical sunscreen pilled when I applied it over the booster (which I had mixed into my gel moisturizer). It made my sunscreen pill even when not mixed with my moisturizer. That said, I refuse to give it up because it does so much for my dehydrated skin--just the right about of moisturizing. I have no complaints about using this only at night--because it extends the life of the product since I'd be using it less often.
Perfect booster to your moisturizer
from Baltimore, MD
This booster is best as that, a booster. I add one drop to my moisturizer in the morning and evening, rather than using it as a separate application/layer. The packaging isn't great, I wish it came in a pump bottle rather than with a dropper. The texture of it is thick and goopy, so it can be difficult to dispense with the dropper whether from the full or trial size bottles. In fact, the trial size is so small and the texture so thick, when you open it you won't be sure there's any serum in the vial (there is, it's just hard to dispense). To dispense from the full size vial, I just lift the dropper up (without sucking any into the dropper), and let a drop fall off of the end of the dropper into my moisturizer (because it sticks to the sides of the dropper). When I use this with my moisturizers (which are not PC brand), I feel that they absorb better and last longer. I've noticed an overall improvement in my skin tone and moisture levels, and these effects seem to last longer. It really feels like it's boosting my moisturizers to their full potential. I highly recommend this hyaluronic acid serum. I was originally turned off due to its cost, I've tried cheaper ones (like the Hada labo lotion) but this one just blows it away. I tried multiple samples before getting the full size. I have rosacea and sensitive skin. This doesn't irritate me at all. Try it out!

Moisturizing magic for acne prone skin
I discovered PC last December and have been slowly switching over to all PC products. I use the Resist line for oily skin (cleanser, toner, BHA). However, I haven't been able to find a PC moisturizer that works for my skin. I have really oily skin that is prone to breakouts, but since I use clindamycin/BP in the AM and Tretinoin in the PM, I still need to add plenty of moisture to the skin to avoid it getting dry and irritated. Gel moisturizers aren't hydrating enough thus irritate my skin and cause breakouts, and moisturizers for dry skin are too emollient and clog my pores. I saw a YouTube video of Paula talking about if you find a moisturizer that you love that you don't need to change it for winter. You can add hydrating boosters to your existing moisturizer and it will take care of dry/irritated patches. I love the non-PC moisturizer I've always used (also fragrance and irritant free!!) but I was still getting some dry areas around my mouth that were breaking out due to the irritation, etc. After I saw the YouTube video I immediately purchased this Hyaluronic Acid Booster. Love Love Love it!!!! I've been using it for about 3 weeks now. But in one weeks time it calmed my dry and irritated areas and the dry patches are gone. Where I was breaking out cleared up as well. I only use it at night and add 2 drops to my moisturizer. I focus around the dry areas around the mouth but use it on my entire face. The skin is now soft, calm, and clear.I have not had any issues with the dropper. Not sure why, but mine works great. I do see how it may be difficult to get the last bit of product out when it's getting empty. I'm wondering if a squeeze tube may be easier, just bc of the consistency. Regardless, I love this stuff for added moisture without the worry of adding breakouts. I hope PC never stops making it.

Here's how to work the dropper!
from New York
So many people love the product but hate the packaging. I can get it to go in the dropper easily by doing this:Unscrew the cap but don't lift it up yet, squeeze the white rubber top 3-4 times. Then lift it up by pulling the SILVER part of the cover only. It gets a lot of product in every time. I think if you pull up using the rubber part it doesn't work. Hope this helps! It makes my rosacea smoothe & soft, I don't see any difference in the redness yet.

I have used many of the Paula's Choice skin care products, over several years. I love them. However, this product is sticky and hard to use. It had no effect on my skin.It seems too heavy and the consistency is thick and runny.

please change the packaging!
I LOVE Paula's Choice products but I haven't written a review of any in a long time because there are so many great comments it didn't seem necessary. However, I love this product and wanted to reiterate that the packaging needs to be changed. Because the product is so thick, it is extremely difficult and rather annoying to get it out of the dropper bottle. I have combination skin and this product makes a fantastic primer, especially around my eyes and mouth where I get little dry patches. I'm sure a lot of the product gets wasted because I can't get it out of the bottle, so I won't be ordering it again unless the packaging changes. Please change this to a pump or better yet, a little squeeze tube like the antioxidant serums come in!
