Uneven eyelids evened out
About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about RESIST Skin Firming Line Minimizer - 0.5 oz:
Not sure if anyone 'suffers' from uneven eyelids, which I had for years and years. Until I started using this product about 1.5 years ago with the purpose of preventing fine lines (paranoid about ageing, yes). My eyelids have been perfectly even since and my face looks symmetrical and beautiful, and I didn't even have to spend any money on expensive medical/surgical procedures. Not sure if this was the effect that Paula's Choice even set out to address in the first place. But I have to say that thanks to years of investing in taking care of my health and skin, I do not have a single wrinkle at the age of 30 (I started using PC at age 26, btw).
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Works great as a 'booster' type of product!

About Me Beauty Expert
I've been using this product since it was introduced. Like some others, when I used it as directed, i.e. a spot treatment, I really didn't notice too much difference. However, when I started using it all over my face, things changed quickly. Within two weeks my skin looked more even, and some of the sagginess (sp?) that I attribute to the chronic insomnia that I have to live with, vanished. In other words, I looked rested! So much so that friends and a few semi-strangers commented that I must be getting plenty of rest. Ha.I also mix it with some of the other boosters such as the Hyal. and the Niacin., both of which are wonders in themselves. When used this way I save a lot of time and it cuts down on the layering. I use it morning and night, including around my eyes.To sum up, it works as stated: fine lines vanished, skin tightened and firmed, and tone evened out.Great job on a terrific product! Now if they would only bring back the original Redness Relief (Clinical version) liquid! I MISS THAT LIKE CRAZY!

On a scale of 1 to 10 it's a meh...

I wanted to like this product, really. I'm a huge PC fan and only use her products. This one is a total dud. It looks like water, dispenses like water and has no effect, just like water. I used the entire bottle daily and there was no difference at all. None. It was very expensive and very ineffective. When you look at the ingredients, where Paula lists the purpose of the ingredients, you can see that most ingredients relate to hydration. So if your skin is more hydrated I guess it would appear firmer. However when you layer on multiple treatments and serums, I just think this either gets lost in the mix or can't perverse because of all the other products you are layering on. Most of Paula's products actually do something to improve the skin, this one appears to just improve the temporary appearance and it didn't even do that for me. First time I feel like I wasted money on a Paula's choice product. On the positive side I love the dispenser and wish this was offered for the vitamin c 15 serum. The oxidation on that product is a nightmare and this crafty, easy to use dispenser would work great for that product.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
like texture, not sure about result

I'm on my second bottle, honestly I do not think that it changed my fine lines much, but I haven't noticed new ones so far, that's why plan to keep buying for preventing purposes

Nearest Thing to a Miracle My Skin Has Experienced!

About Me Minimalist
I use and like many Paula's Choice products. I first bought this about a year ago just to try a new product. I use it primarily for the skin under and around my eyes because that skin was getting saggy, bumpy and like chicken skin. I found it very difficult to apply makeup to this area and not look caked and awful. I had no hopes or expectations for this product, but I began applying every night all around my eye area. I was pleased there was no irritation (as I often get with product around my eyes) and after about 21 days I noticed a marked improvement in the chicken skin texture. After a couple of months, the area had returned to smooth and fresh appearing. I would never be without this product again. Although I have excellent results with all of Paula's products -- this is the product I will be super upset if they ever discontinue it because it has made such a remarkable change to my skin.I am astonished to see other people did not get great results with this product. It just proves that each person is very different and you have to try things, use them as directed and consistently, and it might be a miracle for you too.

Love this product!!
from Broken Arrow, OK
I can not understand all the negative reviews on this product. This product is excellent!! I use it every morning and night under my eyes and over my lips. It has taken away all the fine lines under my eyes and the deep lines over my lips. It is one of the best products that Paula sells. You have to give this product a chance, at least 2-4 weeks before seeing exceptional results. If you do not stick with it that long, you will not see the results you want and it will seem like it doesn't work and believe me this product DOES WORK!!

Use this every day
from Ontario, Canada
I'm really surprised at some of the negative comments posted in reviews. I love this product and use it every day. Although a bit pricey, I find that it lasts me a long time, so it balances out. It dispenses very easily, so you get the amount you want (a little goes a long way!), and are not wasting any. I use it under my eyes and in the "crow's feet" area, my forehead, above my lip, the nasal-labial area and also my cheeks. I know only Botox will reverse and prevent wrinkling of the forehead, but keeping the skin in the best condition possible certainly plays an important part in minimizing those wrinkles! I have sensitive skin, and find that this product does not irritate it. It's light, and applies very easily, and is quickly absorbed. I think it's important that it be used on a daily basis, not just occasionally. I personally feel it has helped my skin, especially in promoting firmness. Highly recommended.

Good Product when used as a serum!

About Me Skin Care Professional
I gave this product a second chance because I like niacinamide but am sensitive to Vitamin C. This product works best for me when I use it at night all over as a serum. Using it this way is time consuming (given the dispenser) and expensive, but it's really the only way that this product is effective. I have begun to exfoliate only once a day (daytime) and using this product at night is very effective in maintaining a smooth and relatively clear appearance. I can see why people who only spot apply it think that it is a dud. I think that it should be made a little more spreadable (it absorbs super quickly!) and repackaged as a serum. Please do NOT add silicone. I would rather it be thin than have the formula compromised. I use my Oil Booster on top. Please do not let this fantastic product fall out of PC's lineup. The ingredients and the research were right. The suggested usage and price point is wrong.

I use several products from the Resist line, but will not repurchase this. Used since it was first introduced and have seen no improvement in my skin.
Works great around my eyes
By Picky shopper

I was developing a strange crepiness under my eyes. I really don't know how else to describe it-- the skin sort of pulled and bunched and wrinkled all at the same time. My skin tends towards dry but in general it is in great shape, as I've been diligent with my skin care for decades, using Paula's Choice and Beautypedia recommended products (I'm 49).I tried various eye creams, but nothing really addressed the problem. I am thrilled to say that the Resist Skin Firming Line Minimizer has fixed this issue! I dab it on every night, and rarely will use it in the morning also. The skin under my eyes is soft and the fine lines I was developing really do seem reduced. I really was becoming concerned about the skin around my eyes and what the future might hold, and I'm grateful to have found this product. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it works, and it's the only thing I've found that truly corrects the weird issues I was having.I have also tried applying this serum on my naso-labial lines (smile lines?) and on my forehead. I've stopped using it on my forehead as it didn't seem to have any impact and it's too expensive to use on areas it won't treat. I'm on the fence about the smile lines--I think it may help somewhat, but it's not as instantly noticeable as it is on the skin around my eyes. However, I'm betting on the positive, so I do dab a small amount on my smile lines every night.
