Is the Resist C15 Super Booster & Resist BHA 9 duo just a spot treatment or can I use them all over my face?
Resist C15 may be applied all over the face as needed. A thin layer of BHA 9 may be applied all over your face if needed, but you would want to use it first over smaller areas where stubborn imperfections (for example, blackheads that have not responded to a BHA exfoliant with 2% salicylic acid) are an issue to see how your skin responds.
Is the Resist C15 Super Booster and Resist BHA 9 duo suitable for rosacea-affected skin?
The Resist C15 Super Booster may be suitable for rosacea. The concern is the amount of vitamin C, which can be too potent for some cases of rosacea. We suggest sampling this product to see how your skin responds. Generally speaking, though, vitamin C’s anti-inflammatory action on skin can be helpful for rosacea.
The Resist BHA 9 is suitable for rosacea, but to start, apply this treatment to stubborn imperfections only, once daily or a few times per week in the evening. Pay close attention to how your skin responds. If signs of flaking or dryness occur, do not continue to apply BHA 9 to these areas or reduce frequency of application.
How often can I use BHA 9?
We recommend applying BHA 9 once a day, preferably in the evening, after cleansing and toning. Many will find that their imperfections respond favorably with less frequent usage, such as 2-3 times per week. For best results, experiment to determine the frequency of application that works best for you
What is the strength of BHA 9?
BHA 9 contains 9% salicylic acid in a unique formula, time-released to prevent irritation without sacrificing the result of its 9% strength. This allows even those with sensitive skin (perhaps even those who cannot tolerate our 2% BHA formulas) to reap the incredible results possible with BHA 9.
My skin tends to be sensitive to vitamin C but I still want to use the C15 Super Booster. Will applying this product a few times per week still be beneficial?
Yes, of course. Although once- or twice-daily application is recommended, you will absolutely still see benefits from Resist C15 Super Booster if it’s applied less often. As with any skincare product, you need to pay attention to how your skin responds and adjust usage (or products) accordingly.
Can you tell me more about the Resist C15 packaging, i.e. "packaged to minimize light and air exposure"?
A great deal of thought went into the packaging for this product. Because Resist C15 is a water-light liquid, a bottle and dropper-tip applicator were the only way to go for measuring the perfect amount per use while ensuring the product wasn't messy to dispense. To protect the potency of the formula, we selected tinted glass to prevent UV exposure and an internal restrictor to drastically reduce airflow into the bottle when the dropper is removed. In rigorous testing, these packaging safeguards were more than adequate to preserve the effectiveness of the Resist C15 Super Booster! For maximum potency, we advise using C15 Super Booster within three months of opening.
I keep depressing the pump, but no product is coming out.
This product is packaged in an airless pump dispenser which utilizes a vacuum system to dispense and keep the contents fresh. Airless packaging helps to keep air and contaminates out of the product, which enhances the formula's stability and effectiveness.
When using your product for the first time, you may need to “prime” the dispenser. To prime, simply pump the dispenser slowly about 10-15 times. If the dispenser stops working at any time, simply repeat the "priming" step. Do not attempt to dismantle the package.
