Additional Information

Why is it different?
SUN 365 Self-Tanning Concentrate packs a high percentage of DHA—a well-researched tanning ingredient—into an odor-free, water-light formula. A few drops is all it takes to turn your favorite face or body moisturizer into a customized self-tanner, giving skin a natural-looking, long-lasting tan without exposing it to the sun’s damaging rays (keep in mind: this self-tanner is not a sunscreen).

What does it do?
You’re in complete control of how much color you get. Want a little color? Add one-half to one pump to your moisturizer. Want a deeper tan? Add another few pumps, and in a few hours your customized tan transforms your skin from drab to fab!
Collapse
How to use
Dispense moisturizer into the palm of your hand, and then add 2-3 pumps of the concentrate for a medium tan result. Apply the mixture evenly and smoothly, one area at a time. Wash hands thoroughly to avoid tan palms and cuticles. Wait 10-15 minutes for the skin to completely dry before dressing. Color should develop within 1–3 hours. Full results are visible in 24-48 hours.

Disappointed

I had high hopes for the self tanning concentrate since I really like the Foam Self Tanner by Paula. I used it according to directions, but it did completely nothing. No tan, no color at all. I like the concept of mixing it with lotion for a moisturizing and self-tanning effect, but this product did not work, even when I tried adding more drops. Returned it and will stick with the foam.... Too bad the customer has to pay for return shipping when dissatisfied with a product.

          Comments about SUN 365 Self-Tanning Concentrate - 0.5 oz:

I use only Paula's Choice Products on my face, hands, and body. I tried this concentrate in my evening moisture. In the morning, I had uneven tanning. On the dark spots of my face the skin was dry and patchy look. I thought it smelled like all other self tanners. Bad. Even in the morning when I washed my face I smelled it. I was hoping to find a safe and effective way to have a tan look to my face without the sun exposure. This product isn't the one for me.

            Comments about SUN 365 Self-Tanning Concentrate - 0.5 oz:

I can honestly say that I've applied this daily and see no change in color whatsoever. I do like the concept however I wish it would work. What I miss is the almost the real thing tanning gel. I love that stuff and stocked up on it when they had it. I sure wish they would get that back. This is not effective at all, And while the concept is great if it doesn't work, then it's not so great.

            Comments about SUN 365 Self-Tanning Concentrate - 0.5 oz:

I was really excited to try this product, but I didn't end up liking it. I added it to the Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator and I think it made my skin more greasy. I think it made my skin look kind of orange. I also found that it would sometimes build up along my hairline and I'd wake up with kind of orange-brown flakes on the area around my temples/hair line. I'm not sure if I was overly zealous and used too much, but the color and build-up along my hairline were not attractive. It's a shame, because Jergen's tinted lotion makes me break-out, so I really wish this product worked better.

              Comments about SUN 365 Self-Tanning Concentrate - 0.5 oz:

I liked this product. I did not think it smelled much at all - contrary to other comments. I liked that I could use it with regular moisturizer - less drying that way. I have some sun spots and other self-tanners make these spots very dark, this did not do that. I thought it lasted a long time and wore off very gradually. I will definitely buy again!

                  Comments about SUN 365 Self-Tanning Concentrate - 0.5 oz:

I love this product! This is the only self-tanning product I have used that is truly satisfactory for my sensitive skin. I have had no adverse reactions. I use it on my legs and find it works best only if I use Cetaphil moisturizing lotion before or after. I believe the mineral oil in other lotions diminishes the effectiveness of this product. If I gently massage the product into my skin I find that it produces an even coloring.

                    Comments about SUN 365 Self-Tanning Concentrate - 0.5 oz:

I use this product about 3 days a week. I mix it into my Resist daytime moisturizer then apply as usual. It is so easy!

Others have mentioned the smell. I don't notice any smell once it is mixed and certainly not when it's absorbed.

It leaves a really nice natural tan. When I use it I find I don't need to use my liquid foundation. I just use a little of the Resist setting powder to finish the look.

I love this self tanning product & I haven't seen anything like it except one product that is strangely creamy & almost like foundation. I really appreciate that this self tanner. is much easier to use!

Paula please never discontinue the Sun 365 Self-tanning concentrate!

Zero difference. And I do mean zero. I have fair skin and live in Chicago (minimum sun) so I figured this would be a great way to fake a little color. Have used two tubes. Nothing.... and I followed directions exactly. Eating an orange gave me more glow than this...

It didn't give my much color, except in areas where my skin is drier. It stuck to those spots, making it really orange and which made my 'tan' not even or natural looking. I liked the idea of mixing it with a moisturizer, so at least you can skip a step. But next time I will definitely be buying the foam one instead. Way more effective, at least for me!
