Animal Testing/Animal By-Products
Do you test on animals?
No. Paula's Choice has never tested on animals at any stage of product development and never will. We also do not contract with any third parties to conduct animal testing on our behalf. We're part of the Leaping Bunny Program, which means not only have we eliminated animal testing from our company, but also from our ingredient suppliers.
Paula's Choice supports many charities focused on animal welfare such as the Humane Society, ASPCA and NAVS. Paula's Choice is a dog-friendly office, with most of our employees bringing their canine companions to work each day.
Are Paula's Choice products vegan, or do any of them contain animal by-products?
Paula's Choice products are not 100% vegan. Even if we used 100% synthetic ingredients, the facilities in which our products are made may formulate for other brands that use animal-derived ingredients. In order to be completely transparent, we cannot claim that any of our products are vegan, for this reason. Our goal is to source completely non-animal derived ingredients in all of our formulas, however, the following ingredients that may be animal-derived include: Lactoperoxidase, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate Carmine, Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate, Tallow and Beeswax. Full ingredient lists for all Paula's Choice products are located on the product page for each formula.
