Customer Service Sales Consultant- Australia

Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager's primary responsibility is oversee the daily operations of the accounting department and to set a standard of excellence in financial oversight, planning, and management while adhering to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and accounts receivable.
  • Critical review of all month-end reconciliations and initial financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Coordinate and lead the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly or ad hoc financial statements and various detailed analyses.
  • Prepare sales and tax returns.
  • Responsible for daily cash management.

Studio/Design Manager

Department: Marketing

As a member of the creative team, the Studio Manager supervises and oversees the resourcing and production of projects as they go through the Creative department.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the studio creative workflow is operating seamlessly
  • Evaluates projects and timelines, estimates work, and assigns projects
  • Develops and maintains procedures and technical guidelines to promote efficiency, productivity, and profitability
  • Maintains industry standard file release processes using various delivery methods including traditional, automated and web-based methods
  • Provides logistical support for offsite photo shoots, retail events, etc.
  • Supervises file construction training and file turnover best practices as well as producing and updating training in both print and digital platforms
  • Prioritizes and adapts to changing situations and workflow needs

Senior Graphic Designer

As a member of the Creative Department, the Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for creating both new design and executing against current brand standards in all channels. This position requires a proven track record of graphic design for the web, print and retail channels; a strong knowledge of creative development processes; and experience developing creative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • A proven ability to solve problems conceptually in collaboration with the broader team, including writers, other designers, production artists, information architects, and developers.
  • Accountable for successful conception and execution of visual creative direction on assigned projects that successfully pushes the brand forward.
  • Think proactively about new and innovative design solutions.
  • Regularly reviews creative work with the group’s senior creative staff to get feedback on direction, and to ensure the work is aligned with other activities in the group.

Senior Software Engineer

Department: IT

Works with team architect and business analysts to scope, design and build essential software systems. Responsible for driving solution requirements, delivering high-quality software, mentoring junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with team leadership to determine the long-term architecture while working on high-visibility projects
  • Help define the technology roadmap, make technology recommendations, and execute on that road map as we expand our business into mobile
  • Write code and unit tests, research creative approaches to solving novel technical challenges, and contribute innovative ideas to the business
  • Serve as a source for technical knowledge and development best practices to junior developers on the team

Global Regulatory Manager

Department: Product Development
Reports To: Director of Product Development
Supervises: n/a
FLSA Status: Full-time; Exempt

The Global Regulatory Manager acts as a project manager for global product licensing in all Paula’s Choice markets throughout key stages of the product lifecycle; particularly, coordinating and liaising with international distributors for successful completion of all product-related approvals and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have regulatory experience in the context of international trade for a global company as opposed to a legal or scientific focus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages all company activities related to global product licensing and compliance.
  • Acts as a direct liaison with Paula’s Choice and our distributors in regards to regulatory affairs.
  • Coordinates and resolves all regulatory-related issues, inquiries and requests from our international distributors.
  • Works closely with international distributors and the Product Development team to complete all required product registrations and/or pre-market approvals necessary for importing, and to make sure the product dossiers meet pre and post-market requirements for all markets.
  • Oversees product submissions necessary for registering Paula’s Choice products in international markets.
  • Works closely with our contract manufacturers, testing houses, and in-house team to ensure global dossier compliance.
  • Reviews and provides feedback for all product labeling and claims as needed for all markets.
  • Identifies, negotiates and liaises with International Regulatory Consultants, Drug/Cosmetic Law firms, toxicologists and subject matter experts when needed for special projects.
  • Researches the import regulations for international markets and compiles regulatory briefs on product compliance.

Requirements

  • Desire to work in the skin care industry is a must.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience in the skin care industry (or a related industry)
  • Knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements for cosmetics and OTC’s in the United States
  • Knowledge of international regulatory requirements for Canada, Europe, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and ASEAN.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills to find the appropriate sources and integrate information from global trade, regulatory, legal and scientific references
  • Experience in working with contract manufacturers, testing labs, and regulatory consultants.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office programs
  • Self-directed, self-driven and proactive problem-solving skills
