Enabling Browser Cookies and JavaScript

Here's how to enable Cookies in different internet browsers:

Internet Explorer 7 and 8

  1. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options
  2. Click the Privacy Tab, and then under Settings, move the slider to the bottom to allow all cookies
  3. Click OK and you're done

Internet Explorer 9

  1. Click on the Tools button, and then on Internet Options
  2. Click on the Privacy tab and click on the Advanced button
  3. Select "Accept" cookies
  4. Click on OK and you're done

Firefox

  1. Click the Firefox menu and then select Options
  2. Select the Privacy tab
  3. Make sure that Remember History is the chosen option in Firefox will:
  4. Click on OK and you're done

Apple Safari

  1. From the Safari menu, click Preferences
  2. Click on the Security tab. Next to Accept cookies, click "Always"

Google Chrome

  1. Click the Chrome menu icon and select Settings
  2. Click Show advanced settings (near the bottom of the page)
  3. Click Content settings in the Privacy section
  4. Select Allow local data to be set to allow cookies
  5. Click on OK and you're done

Here's how to enable JavaScript in different internet browsers:

Internet Explorer 7, 8 and 9

  1. Select the Tools button, and then click Internet Options
  2. Select the Security tab, then click the Custom level… button
  3. Scroll down to the section Scripting. Under this section, there is a sub-section called Active Scripting. Click the option Enable to enable JavaScript
  4. Click OK to save the change
  5. Internet Explorer will prompt you to confirm the change. Press the YES button to confirm the change

Firefox

  1. Click on the Firefox menu and then select Options
  2. Select the Content tab
  3. Mark the Enable JavaScript checkbox
  4. Click on OK when you're done

Apple Safari

  1. From the Safari menu, click Preferences
  2. Click on the Security tab, then select Enable JavaScript under the "Web content" section

Google Chrome

  1. Click the Chrome menu icon and select Settings
  2. Click Show advanced settings (near the bottom of the page)
  3. Click on Content settings in the "Privacy" section
  4. When dialog window opens, look for the "JavaScript" section and select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)
  5. Click on OK and you're done
