Why is it different?

10% Niacinamide Booster is the first concentrated 10% niacinamide formula blended with natural calming and superior hydrating ingredients to address the frustrating combination of enlarged pores plus visible signs of aging, such as: uneven skin tone, lack of radiance, rough surface skin texture, redness, and dryness. The results after only a few days will impress you.

What does it do?

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3, which research has proven can reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, wrinkles, and dry skin. The light-as-water texture is designed to dramatically enhance your skincare while also providing soothing agents to promote visibly calm skin. Antioxidants and skin-replenishing ingredients make this product a multi-tasking must-have solution for all skin types.

How to use

Dispense 2-3 drops into the palm of your hand and then apply to your face. Add a couple more drops if you will also be applying to your neck and chest. During the day, finish with a moisturizer with SPF 30 or greater. Can be applied under the eye area, avoiding the eye itself.

Coming back to this one - it's SO good

I loved this and found it to be a game changer... but it's so expensive, that I decided to return it and try TO's $6 version. I'm finally admitting to myself that the replacement isn't doing it for me, as much as I wish it would. I really wish this were more affordable, as PC products all used to be, but I think I'll just try to think of it as a serum instead of "just a boost of niacinamide." It noticeably cleared my skin, including blackheads, and made my skin look younger and smoother. I actually love the texture of this - you can press it directly into your skin without adding a weighty layer or adding any shine or texture to your face. I'm re-ordering it today.

Great for inflammatory acne

I use this product in the morning, after cleansing and applying the Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 8% AHA Gel. After applying this, I use Cerave moisturizer and put benzoyl peroxide gel on any blemishes that I have. I am in my mid-20's and I frequently deal with inflammatory cystic acne on my cheeks and jawline. I notice when I used this booster in conjunction with my benzoyl peroxide gel, my inflamed blemishes are noticeably calmed for the entire day, more so than if I just used the benzoyl peroxide on its own. In areas where I don't have blemishes, the booster gives me a nice pretty glow while the AHA gel reduces any oiliness I might normally get. It's just a really nice product and I'm happy that I purchased it.

I have to say at first I did not think this was doing anything for me, but I stuck with it. After about 2 or 3 weeks I looked in the mirror one day and suddenly noticed I was glowing. My pores were smaller. My skin looked overall smoother and healthier. I even started getting comments about how glowing my skin was. This stuff works. To really put matters to the test, I've been out of this for a couple weeks now and have noticed immediately that my skin looks more tired and my pores look larger. I am reordering this right now, and will continue to do so. It's just that good.

Makes my skin look pretty

This makes my skin look healthy and my skin tone even. A friend even said I was glowing. Since it has a watery consistency, I've found the best way to apply is to put a few drops in the palm of one hand then use my fingers on the other to apply. It absorbs quickly, no residue. I'm acne-prone and have had no problems with this.

This booster is amazing!

I am in awe of what this booster has done for my skin. I struggled with adult acne suddenly in my early 40s. I was so bad at times. I am thankful that I found and started using Paula's products, and now in my mid-40s have very little to no acne at all. With having clear skin, I've been afraid to try anything to help with my aging skin. I did not want to risk having breakouts. I read the reviews for this 10% niacinamide booster and decided to give it a try. Wow! Am I glad I did. I've been using it for almost a month now and my skin in glowing. My laugh lines have diminished. The pores on my nose are hardly noticeable and I've had no breakouts. I just add a few drops to my serum day and night. It absorbs right away. I am so happy, that I am thinking about trying the peptide booster next!

Perfect !!!

I love this. The result after one night. It help my skin even and i can barely see the dark spots.

Is this real life?

Okay, disclaimer, at the same time I started using this, I stopped all actives and only used my gel moisturizers because my skin has been so sad lately. WHAT ON EARTH THOUGH? After five (ish) days of using this product morning and night, my post-inflammatory erythema is disappearing in some of my older acne spots. My skin is looking more balanced and smooth. Just generally, less inflamed. I'm not sure if a product can even work that fast so maybe it's a fluke, but I'm hooked on this product. A+

I love the product, but please put it in pump bottle

I love how even and plump this makes my skin. I wish it came in a pump because the dropper is messy and doesn't get the last bits of product when its almost over. I still give it five stars because the product has had such a positive impact on my skin.

Immediate Results

I LOVE this booster! I have oily skin, large pores, pores are easily congested, and I almost always have (had-before this booster) slightly red skin in acne-prone areas indicating the verge of a breakout. I was concerned using this at first since others said it caused outbreaks. I was shoched to wake up first day after using niamacide booster to see that my face wasn't slightly red anymore! My pores were not congested at all, NO redness, and acne scars from previous outbreak noticeably diminished! After using for a few weeks, my complexion is so much improved that I don't wear makeup daily anymore. This is my new favorite PC product. I find the texture a bit sticky (as in, it doesn't seem to fully absorb, perhaps?), so I only use at night. My night routine is: cleanse, exfoliate (PC Clear), niamacide booster applied directly to skin, PC skin balancing super antioxidant with retinol (the texture of this lessens the stickiness of the niamacide booster and makes face feel smooth again), and skin balancing gel moisturizer. I'm positive the results I see are from the niamacide booster because I added the booster to my night routine later.

One of my Favs

Love this product and can't live without it, BUT hate the consistency. Anything liquid, easily spillabe makes me cringe. I don't like mixing products in a palm of my hand as I feel they get mostly absorbed by the time you apply them to your face. Instead, I put the drops directly on my face which is so tricky and inconvenient and still end up sometimes wasting the product. That said, I always wonder why, oh why, PC came up with a liquid formula for this one? Why not a gel like consistency of something like Peptide Booster? I would be so happy if PC could change that!
