Really do like this product! My skin never looks so good as when I've freshly applied this serum - I truly do glow. It's dramatic enough that I only get compliments on my skin on the days that I've applied the serum (I don't apply it everyday). I oscillate between this and SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF as SkinCeuticals has their formulas under patent protection. While the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic is peer reviewed in research, it causes me to breakout. PC has a similar formula and doesn't cause the breakouts. I took 1 star off for packaging (not formula) because now I can't see when I'm running low and need to reorder! I used this product over 5 months and had no issues whatsoever with it oxidizing and changing color until I traveled and kept it in my luggage. I stored it in the fridge for the first 5 months, which is cool and dark and supposedly reduces the oxidation reactions.

I really like this C15 - but

I don't like the new packaging, I loved the previous one because when it's low and the dropper doesn't pick it up I can see how much more I have. I don't care for any of the packaging that you can't see what's left.

Definitely recommend

Purchased it for the first time in February, 2018, it lasted exactly 3 months. I kept it in the refrigerator and it did not oxidize at all, 5 star review based on price and effectiveness of the product.

I love this stuff

I have a normal/slightly oily skin type, with hormonal acne. Skin care products often break me out, and so I have to be very careful about what I use. My skin care routine ends up being extremely minimal. Right now, it is the C15 serum followed by sunscreen in the morning, and then the PC 2% BHA followed by moisturizer at night. The BHA does wonders for keeping breakouts to a minimum. But the C15 booster is such a great addition. It is essentially a water-like texture. It is light weight, and absorbs very fast. It does not break me out, the way thicker textured vitamin C products have in the past. Instead, I notice even clearer skin. I have noticed less breakouts and a more even, brighter skin tone overall from this product alone. I love it for preventative, anti-aging purposes and also to reduce both acne breakouts and uneven skin tone. Also-- I do use this around the eye (avoiding the eyelid) and have zero irritation. Sometimes skin care products do sting my eye area, but this does not. For me, the C15 booster does what it is claimed to do, and is a really fair price as well.

Product works but sensitive to light...be careful

This was one of Paulas products I found a noticeable difference from within about a week of use. It changed the tone of my skin to...??...better. Not sure if clearer, but better. Be careful to not oversupply. It had a tacky finish that makes me feel I must rinse off my fingers immediately. Not a big deal. I signed a star because PC products are becoming so darn expensive over the years. They are no longer competitively priced, and there are now multiple effective C products available at the drugstore.

Favorite product, needs smaller packaging

This is hands-down my favorite PC product. It is the one miracle product that gives me 1-day results by getting rid of any red marks or discolorations left over from pimples and such, and it seems to work even better on days when I'm out in the sun. However, I've only been able to buy this twice because of the hefty price tag, and only the travel/sample size, because after reading over everyone's reviews, the full-size doesn't even last for three months before oxidizing. For that reason, I've been waiting for 2 years for them to change the packaging and still nothing. I'm no packaging expert but I wonder, even after hearing everyone's comments, if they insist on selling it at this size, would it work better if they sold it as a set of 2-3 small bottles? That way you'd be getting the same ratio of product-to-money spent, with the bonus that the whole batch won't spoil in one go. I hope they bring the travel/sample size back soon because I love to use this in the summer!

Irritating and Spoils in 3 Months

This is far too powerful to use on my face aside from two drops mixed into moisturizer. It caused a terrible red, painful rash on my face so I had to scale back my usage. As a result, I'm barely halfway through my bottle and it has already spoiled. I emailed the customer service team and they said that it spoils in 3 months and that they wouldn't offer a replacement or even a discount. Waste of money and disappointing service. I'll stick with my antioxidant concentrate serum with vitamin C.

Awesome product but bad packaging

Yes, the numerous reviews about this product oxidizing are absolutely true. I loooove this product - it feels amazing and it makes my skin bright and soft. (I have sensitive oily and acne-prone skin.) I like to think of this product as sunshine and oranges in a little bottle. I've even come to love the pungent smell. But it oxidizes so quickly. It's supposed to last at least three months at tip-top shape, but I'm lucky if I can get it to last a month before it goes bright orange. I can tell that it doesn't work as well at that point. This product is WAY too expensive for this to happen. I used to buy the travel size ones at the slightly higher price so that I wouldn't waste over half of the product, but sometimes it would arrive half orange and one of the phone representatives said that they couldn't guarantee the quality of the travel sized ones like they could the large size. Ultimately I stoped buying it altogether, but it makes me sad because I loved it! To the Paula's Choice team: please consider either smaller sizes of this product that you can guarantee or better air-tight packaging. Maybe both? This product is so worth the extra time and money to get it right!!!!!!!

Clogged my pores

Clogged my pores within a week.

It works but spoils too fast

I found that this serum worked very well for me while it was fresh. My skin felt brighter and smoother, and it also helped with fading of some acne marks I have. I'd add a few drops to my lotion or apply directly. However as soon as the color in the bottle turned from pale honey to orange, this product started causing my skin to breakout. I currently have two half-full bottles that I can no longer use on my face. At this high cost, only being able to use half the bottle isn't worth it. I won't be buying it again. I do use a lot of PC products, and this is the only one that seems to go bad really fast.
