Why is it different?

CALM Redness Relief SPF 30 Mineral Moisturizer Normal to Oily Skin pampers sensitive, reddened skin with its gentle, broad-spectrum mineral-based sun protection and soothing antioxidants, all in an ultra-light silky lotion that leaves a soft matte finish.

What does it do?
Moisturizes while providing soothing skin relief and preventing the appearance of premature aging from sun damage. The SPF 30 is a significant benefit as it decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun if used as directed with other sun protection measures. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin and even suitable for skin prone to rosacea.
How to use

Use as the last step in your AM skincare routine. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. If you don’t apply liberally, you will need to reapply every two hours after your skin is exposed to direct sunlight. If you plan to swim or perspire you must apply a water-resistant sunscreen.

Perfect for Oily, Acne-Prone Skin!

This stuff calms my skin so much that it produces about half as much oil as it usually does! Using this was a turning point for my inflamed, broken out, skin and I'll use this forever as my daily SPF moisturizer. It goes on smoothly and doesn't ball up. I don't think it leaves a white cast or gives flash back, but honestly I'm super pale so my skin on its own is white and reflective haha. This also works well under makeup and hydrates nicely although I do find I need more moisture for the drier parts of my face (aka: outside of the oily T-zone) so I just add a serum and I'm good to go! The biggest deal for me though is that it does NOT break me out! And I break out super easy :(

This is fabulous! It doesn't bother my sensitive skin at all. It feels very light. I'll definitely get this again on auto-replenishment! Thank you soooooooooooooooo much!

The perfect sunscreen

Ok, I'm about to sound dramatic, but I am extremely sensitive to sunscreen. I have tried everything, and I mean everything from the cheapest drugstore options to the most expensive high end options, chemical and physical, and they have ALL burned or irritated my skin to some degree. This is the ONLY sunscreen I have ever tried that I have zero reaction to. It is perfect. It doesn't sting or burn. It doesn't break me out. It doesn't smell. It doesn't make me oily or leave a greasy residue. In the morning I put on my vitamin c serum, then this sunscreen, a little translucent powder and bronzer and I'm out the door. I truly didn't think I would ever find a sunscreen that worked for my skin. This stuff is holy grail status for me! Thank you PC!

It's hard to find a sunscreen without chemical sunscreens, and when you do the product is heavy, greasy, and won't blend, but not with this one! Because of the great formula you can put on the appropriate amount of sunscreen (1/4 - 1/2 tsp) without any issues!

Here's what you need to know: no white cast, no weird texture or smell, it's just enough matte (not too matte), moisturizes, goes well under makeup. It's everything I need from a moisturizer with 30 SPF. I prefer physical to chemical sunscreens because physical are less likely to break the skin out.

I was a Hydralight user and thought I'd give Calm SPF normal to oily a try. It's creamier, more luxurious but not greasy or heavy at all. I am super impressed. I would expect something like this at double or triple the price point. So worth it. Calm SPF is my new moisturizer. Rain or shine.

Somebody put out the fire on my face!

This stuff is amazing. I have been having the worst rosacea outbreak and nothing has helped. First Aid Beauty, Cerave, even the Hydralight from PC hasn't done it but this stuff is amazing. I ordered a sample with my last order and finally used some this morning. Within 20 minutes, I went online and ordered the entire line. It literally felt like somebody put out the fire that has been burning on my skin. I am a convert for life, Paula!

My three kids' facial sunscreen for non beach/pool days...

This is the perfect lotion for my children's faces to apply each morning as I would apply a sunscreen. It is mineral based and won't burn or irritate.

This sunscreen is perfect for my combination skin, it is very moisturizing and makes my skin feel soft. I have very sensitive acne prone skin and i have not had any breakouts so far which is good and my redness seems to cool down a bit as well. The only thing I do not like is the smell but I can oversee that from how great it works on my skin!

I'm picky and I recommend for sensitive skin

I don't have red skin or rosacea, but I do have very sensitive skin, including facial eczema in response to some make-up and eye creams. I've been using the product almost daily for three weeks. This is the ONLY sunscreen, mineral or chemical, that I've used that hasn't given me those irritation bumps around my chin and under my nose or caused breakouts. I have tried cetaphil, cerave, vanicream, almay, neutrogena, laroche-posay, and arcona to name a few. I use it as a sunscreen over my moisturizer. The initial application feels silky and moisturizing. As the day goes on I can see how some might find it slightly drying, but with my underlying moisturizer I don't have a problem with that - it does say normal-to-oily on the bottle. When I'm out I am going to try the normal-to-dry version. I am white, with olive undertones and I don't find this gives me a ghostly cast like other mineral sunscreens. I'm super picky and I highly recommend you try if you have sensitive skin.
