Additional Information

Why is it different?

CALM Redness Relief Toner for Normal to Dry Skin is a beneficial milky fluid with a unique mix of hydrating, skin-replenishing, and anti-aging ingredients that smooth, soften, and visibly lessen redness. It is an essential step in any skincare routine to renew skin after cleansing. Can also help remove the last traces of makeup.

What does it do?

Instantly soothes sensitive skin while its specialized mix of antioxidants and skin-replenishing ingredients nourishes and hydrates for visibly healthier-looking, more resilient skin. With ongoing use, helps fight visible signs of redness and wrinkles. It is gentle enough even for skin prone to rosacea.

How to use

After cleansing, apply toner to a cotton pad and gently stroke over face and neck. Do not rinse. Follow with the rest of your morning or evening skincare routine. For daytime, finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.

Ratings & Reviews

Holy grail toner.

I've been using this product ever since I discovered Paula's Choice. It's my favorite for my somewhat sensitive skin. It feels so light & hydrating without being greasy at all. I love that it calms my skin with the licorice extract & other soothing ingredients. I really love it for after I shave my face as well. This toner is perfect IMO. Highly recommend for any skin type, thanks Paula!

Great product I'm already on my second bottle!

I have fair skin with slight redness that is very dry. This toner does reduce the redness in my skin and leaves me hydrated. I'm in the process of purchasing my second bottle.

It is very good

This product is great. I use it twice a day for breakouts on my extra sensitive skin. It also soothes and reduces redness. Love it. I'm ordering this toner and cleanser from another collection for acne prone skin the most. Was frustrated to see this product got bad reviews. Hopefully Paula doesn't discontinue this one. It's frustrating every time I find that one of my faves is not available any more

Disappointed in product, absolutely will not buy again

Interesting. I submitted a review last week and it has not been posted. Short story this toner is unlike any toner I have used in the past. It is heavy and does not leave my face feeling clean. I developed an amazing number of whiteheads using this product and had to get a facial to rid myself of them. I have been using Paula's Choice products for years and have not needed facials until using this product. I have since switched to a toner from another company. I did speak with a Paula's Choice rep who convinced me to order the normal oily toner, which I did, but I am reluctant to use it. I absolutely would not recommend this product.

Clogged pores and caused numerous whiteheads

I have used Paula's Choice skin care products for a number of years. I have combination normal/oily skin, more so normal after number of years using good products. Prior to me using the Redness Relief toner normal to dry skin I had been using the Moisture Boost Toner which worked very well for me. Unfortunately Paula's Choice discontinued that product and replaced it with the Redness Relief line. When I ran out of my toner I ordered Redness Relief, I started using it about 4 weeks ago. Right away I was surprised by the consistency, it was thicker and looked oily to me. Since using the product as a toner twice a day my skin has developed large amounts of whiteheads, so many in fact I had to go to an estethician for a facial and removal of the whiteheads. I have not gone for a facial for at least 4 years as my skin was so smooth and clear from using Paula's Choice products. After the facial I got an Eminience toner I had used in the past and my face feels clean again. I am very disappointed that Paula's Choice discontinued the Moisture Boost toner and replaced it with the Redness Relief line. I do not recommend this product. Last week I spoke with a Paula's Choice representative who suggested I try Redness Relief normal to oily, I did order it but am reluctant to use it at this time.

Not for overly sensitive skin

I would recommend ordering a sample of this first if you have sensitive/dry skin. This toner made my skin feel like it was burning on the first application so I discontinued use.

Works great on my hypersensitive neck

I use this product on the hypersensitive skin on my neck and behind my knees. It gently hydrates and soothes without causing any irritation or redness. I can't understand why this super product isn't more highly rated.

Burns my skin

I used this product for the first time yesterday. I was surprised with how it gave me a burning sensation. Especially since it's for redness relief. I also woke up with tiny little red bumps all over my face and since this was the only new product I used I'm pinning it on this. I would return it but you have to pay to ship it back so il just keep it and try it again. But they know that most people don't want to pay to have it shipped back and end up keeping a product they are unhappy with.

favorite toner

I've never had a toner that didn't smell like garbage until this one. Nice packaging. Thick in texture and I can actually feel it working.

I would buy again but not for redness

Nice, milky, formula that hydrates my dry sensitive skin. I have mild redness that I thought this could help, I also bought the face wash, serum and sunscreen. Unfortunately I don't find this line does anything for my redness.
