I Love This Product And Have It On Auto Shipment😘

Rosacea, Hot Flashes, Sensitive Dry Skin...all caused major problems for me last winter and into spring! Foundation makeup looked and felt terrible on my face. It became so bad I had to get back to basics, Skin Recovery Cleanser followed by Skin Recovery Moisturizer, nothing else, (couldn't even tolerate the most gentle sunscreen for months). That's all my face could handle. By Summer My face had healed enough to to add Skin Recovery Enriched Calming Toner and Calm 1% BHA Lotion. What a difference these 2 products made! I was healed enough to use the oh so Important sunscreen, Paula's Calm Redness Relief SPF 30 worked for me but if I knew I'd be outdoors in direct sunlight I left off the BHA and added a ball cap, having now developed a sun sensitivity, ouch. So, what does this have to do with Clinical Ultra Rich Moisture?? Everything! Starting this fall my face began to feel dry, itchy and irritated after cleansing; oh no, not again. Even my foundation left my face feeling dry by the end of the day. Enter CLINICAL ULTRA-RICH MOISTURIZER, Yes, Yes, sooo much better. Still needed a little more moisture. BAM! Moisture Renewal Oil Booster added, Summer Time Face in the Winter? Yes Please. So, gentle cleansing followed by calming toner, 1% BHA lotion, oil boost where needed, then ultra rich moisturizer. I do this day and night for soft, supple, happy Skin. Thank you Paula, from the bottom of my heart! Sincerely hope this helps and gives hope to fellow suffers of sensitive, problem skin. Start with the basics of gentle cleansing and moisturizing until your skin recovers. Slowly, Gradually, add additional products, as needed, starting with the lowest concentrations available. The more powerful, highly concentrated products may never be your friend, even if you used to use them with great results as I used to. But having a happy face and foundation makeup that looks and feels good is so wonderful and achievable with back to basics skin care from Paula!

I do not write reviews. But. This , Is .Amazing. I work in an office and have dried out hands even in summer. My cuticles were horrible. I put this on at night (a bit too moisturizing for day time IMO) and wake up to smooth soft hands. Put it on my heals - goodbye dry heals. If you have any issues like, try this.

Lifesaver!!

I've used the Skin Recovery moisturizers for some time now but I recently moved to a colder, dryer climate and wow was my sensitive skin suffering in a big way - dry, red, blotchy every day. I took a chance on this clinical moisturizer and I am SO glad I did, after adding it to my nighttime routine I noticed a huge positive change in the texture and tone of my skin after only a few days! My skin is soft and smooth in the morning without the dry tightness I'd been experiencing and it's just a miracle product. No more redness or dry spots and I couldn't be happier!! It's a denser cream for sure but on my face it smooths nicely and I'm not left feeling smothered by it. Will buy this product again and again any day!

Perfect for tretinoin users

I was prescribed Tri-Luma (for melasma) and tretinoin (.025% for the remainder of my face), and knew that I'd need a serious moisturizer. I apply this after washing my face onto wet skin, wait about 30 minutes and then apply the prescription creams. There was some dryness from the medications but not what was expected. It does go on thick, almost too thick, but please don't let that discourage you if you're looking for something moisturizing. This works! I'm on my fourth week of Tri-luma and very happy with the results and with this moisturizer (I reapply sunscreen throughout the day even though I work indoors). I only wear this at night. For daytime, I use the new Defense Nightly moisterizer or Hydralight moisterizer, with the 10% Niacinamide and peptide boosters, followed by a lot of sunscreen. Also, my husband has seborrheic dermatitis around his ears and forehead. He applies it onto wet skin, and he's very happy with the results. I hope this never gets discontinued or reformulated, I wouldn't know where to start looking for a replacement.

Absolutely wonderful

This is the only moisturizer that has essentially healed my moisture barrier in a week. I tried the Skin Recovery Cream and Moisture Boost but both just seemed to sit on my skin. This stuff, however, is a dream. My skin just drinks it up! After months of too much Vitamin C, exfoliation, and not enough moisture my skin was wrecked (rosacea, dry/itchy, flaky, red). I have been desperate trying to find a moisturizer that actually sinks in and this it! I highly recommend for anyone dealing with moisture barrier issues such as eczema or rosacea. I usually have oilier skin but this stuff is not greasy at all, which makes it great for daytime use. Can't recommend enough.

Perfection!

I've tried all Paulas moisturizers over the years and this is hands down my favorite by far!! My skin is oily, acne prone with dry patches and this moisturizer is perfection...it takes care of any dryness without added oiliness and does not cause breakouts. It actually seems to "normalize" my skin like no other product I've tried. PLEASE, PLEASE do not mess with this formulation! Thank you!!

Pleasantly Surprised!

I use Retin-A and have been noticing some dehydration/dryness in the mornings. I currently use Drunk Elephant's LaLa Retro Cream & it wasn't enough. I decided to try this moisturizer on a whim and I am very glad I did! First - it is much lighter in texture than I was expecting. I thought it would be a super thick 'warm in up' type of cream but its not -- its more of a thicker lotion but still fluid. Easy to apply and my skin immediately felt more hydrated. Small downside - My skin DOES feel tacky a bit after application, probably due to the richness of the product. I use this at night only so this isn't an issue for me but if you intend to use this during the day it may cause issues with applying SPF and/or makeup over the top of it. Overall, very happy with this moisturizer.

Great Product

This is a very nice moisturizer that deserves far more credit that it gets. It spreads nicely, calms redness and dry skin, and works well even in the driest environments. I have tried every moisturizer Paula's makes, and keep coming back to this one. Please do not discontinue or change the formula!!! This is a wonderful product that does not cause breakouts!

It Did What I Didn't Believe Possible!

The Ceramides first attracted me, but I held off purchasing for months because of concerned re some perturbing reviews. Still, the plethora of excellent ingredients "called" to me, so I phoned PC for samples - there were none. More thought, then two things happened: PC added *additional* helpful information (under How to Use) and I was better able to understand it's reportedly more robust effects; and 2nd, it was offered on 23rd anniversary sale - so I ordered immediately, received over a week ago, but still didn't use it right away. Instead, respecting this as a stronger product and wanting this to work well for me, I called PC to ask what I might use underneath, to best cushion my skin, allowing it to accustom itself to the Ceramide moisturizer's more intense effect. On bare skin I used the Omega serum (Calm serum would do) with a bit of the oil booster mixed in - nothing with C or retinol, as suggested. I waited a half-hour, then applied the Ceramide Moisturizer with it's robust C and Retinol ingredients. And hoped. Still difficult to believe - and I'm a scoffer at "overnight" results - but next morning my angst-making beginnings of puppet-lines (from nostrils to mouth corners) were GONE; I had come to accept them, and not anticipated any such thing - only smoother plumped skin: but Gone They Were! - their absence startled me as it took a moment to realize why my face appeared *different* next morning - but it's wonderful! As advised, I've starting slow and skipped two days, but the puppet-lines still remain invisible - with no negative skin reaction whatsoever. Will ease into every-other-day tonight. What an unexpected gift! Going to stay with it for good, now. So, if you've read some less than stellar reviews, give it some thought and try again. I would DEFINITELY recommend to friends - especially my "mature ones.

Best moisturizer imaginable

I was reluctant to order this for the longest time, afraid it would be too occlusive, hard to spread, heavy, and make me break out. I have really sensitive, fairly dry, breakout prone skin. I am floored by this moisturizer. It is incredible. I've been having a redness flare-up lately due to over-experimentation with exfoliants, and have been dealing with break-outs and serious dryness/tightness at the same time. My usual Skin Recovery moisturizer wasn't enough, even with the Boost oil, so I gave this a shot out of desperation. Wow. It spreads like a dream, is not too thick or too thin, and is the first product that finally soothed my face—and did it overnight. I woke up looking so much better after my first use. My skin feels hydrated, soft, clear, redness is basically gone, and it no longer feels tight. It also does not feel greasy at all and it did not cause any breakouts. This is a really elegant, intelligently formulated moisturizer. I have no idea why it isn't selling like gangbusters. Maybe PC needs to market it differently. If you've been on the fence, I encourage anyone with sensitive, tight skin to try it, even you are breakout prone.
