Skin is silky soft, comfortable

I use this right after the shower, and I can put body serums underneath it such as AHA/BHA serums without any problems like pilling or problems absorbing. It absorbs so well and there is never a sticky feeling that lingers such as with other body creams. My skin just feels very silky soft, plumped and well moisturized. Another plus is that there is no scent! My knees and elbows are less crepey. Paula, you must never stop making this luxurious cream. I will always purchase this!

Thick but not very emollient

Has a nice thick texture, but 1-2x daily use is not helping my hands in the dry winter climate. Still experiencing crepey-ness and flakiness.

Not at all impressed

For the price, I thought this body lotion would do way more than it does. I wish it was truly a "Ultra-rich butter" as it states. Didn't see any difference in terms of moisture, after using this for a while. Will definitely not buy this again. Way too expensive for the product size and ineffective performance

Am a Jumping for Joy at how Wonderful it feels.

5

Wow! I have had bad experiences with body creams that had Shea Butter - the drug store kinds. Paula's Clinical Body Butter, to me, is well formulated. For a fussy guy who strongly dislikes greasiness, tackiness, stickiness and oiliness in body (face as well) lotions, creams, butters, etc, I'm over joy at how GOOD this body butter feels on my skin. I'm dry from head to toe during the winter months and my hands, elbows and heels are dry, crack and well...... dry. For me, it does not smell, not greasy (a huge plus), not tacky (plus), nor sticky, and certainly not oily. All of my dry tired parts feels smooth and well hydrated, that includes my crack heels and hands. Another place I found to apply the body butter is behind my ears - another dry area. I JUST wish the price was lower and it came in a larger tube, bottle, tub, whatever.

great, clean, moisturizer for dry skin

I use this on areas of my body that are very dry: feet, knees, elbows, hands etc; I use Josie Maran's argan oil body butter everywhere else. They are both excellent products! As a doctor and product junkie, I have tried them all from the cheap to the ridiculously expensive and these are the two I turn to the most.

Outstanding!

All of the Clinical products are outstanding. I've tried them all, and they are all winners! And I agree with the ladies who find this product to be a multi-tasker! Yes, it is great on elbow and knees, where something richer is called for, but it also works beautifully and is non-irritating, all over my face and neck, even around my eyes. I have not encountered any breakouts when using on my face--just soothing relief! Over the summer months, may find this to be much to much for my face. But during the past winter months, what with the indoor heat so drying to my skin, kept 3 tubes of this going--one in the bathroom, one in the kitchen, and one on my bedside table. I don't detect any odor--pleasant or unpleasant, and i am really sensitive to odors! As far as it being greasy as others have noted, I don't encounter that at all either. This body butter has been perfect for winter, as mentioned, but for summer, maybe it will feel greasy. I fully expect to transition my skin care products according to the seasons. For anyone with seriously dry skin anywhere on the face or body, I would highly recommend giving this a try!

Sorry. Not worth it.

It's not that this is a BAD body butter, it's just that it's far below the standard I've come to expect from Paula's Choice. It moisturizes adequately. It soaks in reasonably well. The texture is fine (although leaves a "dry touch," almost powdery, which I personally don't like but it's a matter of preference). Other than those things, *yawn*. I expected something much, much better - more in line with the amazing other products I regularly purchase from this company. Honestly, I get much better, deeper, and longer-lasting moisturizing from using just raw shea butter, which is about half the price for twice as much product, and the smell-quality is about the same (which is to say, by no means great, but not horrendous). This body butter does absolutely nothing for my dry, winter-chapped hands; "winter skin" in general doesn't seem to be much improved at all. I got my full-sized tube as a free gift, and while I'll certainly use it up - not until the spring/summer, though - because there's nothing WRONG with it, I would absolutely never purchase this product.

I'm buying it again!

I use this on my very dry legs and feet after a shower. Sometimes I mix it with a light face moisturizer and use it on my face in the really dry months. Works great that way!

Not good enough. Does not meet PC standards of moisturizing

Not a fan. Too greasy and leaves skin shiny. I also need to reapply after every hand-washing. Aveeno has a better consistency and lasts longer on my skin.

I WILL NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN

1

I HAVE NEVER REALLY PAID ATTENTION TOO MUCH TO THE COMPAINTS OF THIS CREAM SMELLING BAD. BUT I GOT THIS TUBE AND OPENED IT UP , IT HAD A GOD AWFUL SMELL. IT REALLY DID SMELL OF A RANCID OIL SMELL. I DON'T THINK PUTTING ON RANCID OILS ARE TOO GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN. IT SEEMED LIKE IT HAD PAST ITS EXPIRATION DATE. I WILL NEVER BUY THIS BODY BUTTER AGAIN. ALSO MY HANDS DON'T SEEM TO BE MOISTURIZED BY IT.
