So creamy and lovely also works on face and neck when needed ;)
I have dry skin on my body, getting sometimes some atopic dermatitis patches. This moisturizer really hydrates, smooths and protects my skin; it simply does what it says in the description for me. I personally do like to splurge and use even for my body care formulas packed with great ingredients. I apply it after shower, it gets absorbed quite fast in the skin for such a thick cream and I didn't noticed any sticky/oily feeling (I get dressed almost immediately). I can even layer multiple applications with the cream on my driest skin areas (elbows, knees and feet). I didn't noticed any glow after application. I have keratosis pilaris on my arms and some breakouts on my chest (that I keep under control with Paula's Choice AHA/BHA body creams twice weekly), didn't noticed this body moisturizing clogging pores.

Not the best moisturizer - my skin feels dry by the end of the day. It is nice and light but lacks that emollient feel I that I expect from a good body cream. I think if your skin isn't very dry this would work for you but if it is dry I recommend the Clinical Body Butter or Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream.

This is my new favorite PC product, and I'm a long-time PC fan. It is a thick cream, so it does come out of the tube slowly and does take a bit of effort to spread and smooth it into the skin. However, it works so well that the slight inconvenience of application is worth it. My skin felt so soft and smooth immediately, but without the greasiness and slipperiness that many lotions and creams leave behind. Furthermore, once applied, the effects last for hours. I live in the desert city of Tucson, AZ, and my skin is always dry and flaky so it seems I'm constantly applying some kind of lotion or cream. It's such a relief and a pleasure to have soft, hydrated, non-greasy hands for more than an hour or two! This cream has no noticeable fragrance or smell, which is another plus. I'll definitely keep using and buying this!
When I got the product and saw the texture of the lotion, I didn't expect to be as good as it is. It is thick and if you put too much it doesn't glide easily. However, you only need a thin layer in the morning to keep a moisturized skin the rest of the day. Hence, the cream lasted longer that I thought. I just bought my second bottle as I am very happy with how soft my skin feels.
It's not that moisturizing to be honest. It's just okay. Not sure if I would purchase it again because of the price as it doesn't last long. 3 stars.
This cream works. My skin stays moist for a very long time. I can tell a huge difference between it and other highly-rated body creams. It is thick and hard to spread. That problem is solved by wetting my hands before I dispense the cream into my hands. Now it spreads quite easily. Thank you for developing this. Your other body lotions don't moisturize enough for me.
I can honestly say that I have loved just about every P.C. product that I have tried. My face acne has never looked better since I switched from Proactiv to PC. But this product was disappointing. Due to the delayed delivery, I ended up purchasing CeraVe's Moisturizing Cream to try it out until this lotion arrived. Between the two products I noticed that CeraVe last on my skin all through the night and through the daytime without reapplication. PC needed reapplying and it has an odd smell. For some reason mine has a slight smell of a tortilla chip. It disappears after a minute or so, but it does irritate me. It has a beautiful consistency that spreads easily. But I cannot justify paying $22 for a 7oz bottle, when I can just pay $13.00 for a 16oz bottle of CeraVa. I will add that PC Resist weightless body treatment 2% bha in combination with the CeraVe gives me beautiful results!
I really like this. It glides on easily, absorbs quickly, and you don't need a ton to cover your whole body. You can even use this on your face! I was disappointed that this lotion does not contain niacidimides. It would be so perfect if it did. But there is certainly nothing wrong with this lotion. I also love that PC products do not contain fragrance. It is my favorite of PC body products so far. Love the flip top cap too!
I don't think the old Slip Into Silk was real moisturizing, so I've hoped that Paula would come out with a more moisturizing skin lotion. Well, she came out with a cream instead, which is an important point, because it is a thick cream. I'm a bit surprised by the 5* reviews. I'd give 2* for application of the product and 4* for final result - averaged to 3*. Far as I can tell, the ingredients are great. But I put on the cream, start rubbing it in, and rub, rub, rub some more, and it hasn't rubbed in yet, but begins to get tacky. So I rub some more and eventually it softens and becomes oily, which is kind of nice. But...it never rubs in. After all is said and done, my skin is oily. I'm mostly using it on my hands, so after using the product, I can't do anything without washing off the oiliness! Which of course is counter-productive and a waste of the cream! So I'm mostly using at night followed by donning thin cotton gloves to sleep in since my hands are oily. The result is the same even is I use a very conservative amount of product. So I would have to say I'm still waiting for a body lotion - in a pump bottle please! I think my skin in general likes lotions better than creams. But I still want all the good ingredients, and for it to be very moisturizing, but in a lotion form. Thanks!
