I got these cleansing pads as a sample and my first impression was they were not wet enough, a little on the dry side.

Just ok with terrible packaging

In my experience none of these cloths work as well as washing your face, that being said, sometimes they come in handy, like when we are dry camping. This one works as well as any other, not better than I can tell (disappointing as I've come to expect Paula's Choice to be better), however, I only got to use 2 of them before the rest dried up. After opening the package twice, it doesn't seal back up and popped open during the night and they were dry by the morning.

better sealing and cheaper

I like these wipes a lot and appreciate the ingredients and the fact that they are biodegradable. But to pay $11 for 30 wipes seems a bit expensive especially if I can get 50 wipes for $14 for a 5 star product as viewed on beautypedia.com. Also the seal could close better to preserve moisture.

I discovered the most wonderful hack...

My young children wear tenacious mineral sunscreen on their faces. Even after a shower with a gentle wash, you can still see the sunscreen. I took a Paula's Choice wipe and gently went over their cheeks, foreheads, chins and noses. Guess what...all of the sunscreen was gone. We are taking this with us on any vacation this summer. They are magical and not abrasive or rough at all. They are so soft and effective!

Does not remove makeup as advertised

1

I would describe this cloth more as a freshening wipe, not a true makeup remover. I have been using wipes for years to remove my makeup and have probably tried close to every cloth on the market. This unfortunately does not live up to the description of quickly removing makeup—including long-wear & waterproof. I found that it does not even remove my easily removable mascara. I had to sprinkle Paulas makeup remover on the cloth. On the positive side, these are the most gentle cloths I have ever used and they do not irritate my sensitive skin. I have been using Paula's products for 15+ years and my skin loves the Calm line. I would not recommend for makeup removal.

Gentle make-up remover

4

I've used Clinique's make-up wipe and was happy to see Paula's Choice come out with her version. These work just as well for me at a slightly lower price, but like other wipes I've used they remove eye make-up great but only take off the first "layer" of foundation. I use two wipes, follow with my Paula's Choice cleanser and couldn't ask for cleaner, more night routine ready skin. My only complaint with these wipes is the packaging, it just doesn't seal well once opened. After my first package dried out about halfway through I've begun putting the pack in a plastic bag. Overall a nice product though.

Thank you for making these! Love them!

I've always thought of cleansing cloths as kind of gross: not rinsing the dirt away and even leaving cleanser residue behind. However, there are times when you need a quick fix, so it's wonderful to have this option from a trusted skin care source! These do leave my skin feeling clean and soft, not gross at all like the fragrance-filled harsh ones at the drug store! I'm 9 months pregnant and have trouble leaning over the sink in the evenings to wash my face, so I use these at night. They are also a life saver for mornings when I'm running late and don't have time for a shower. And of course for travel! These are just so great to have on hand. As for removing makeup, I haven't tried, but I don't see how that matters; just use a quick swipe of your eye makeup remover first and then these to clean the rest away.

THEY REMOVE MASCARA AND FOUNDATION!!

5

I bought these because sometimes i am just LAZY!! They work perfectly to remove my makeup and all my mascara. The cloths are soft and and make my face feel clean, they don't rip so they are perfect in thickness. One cloth cleans All my makeup off. My only negative is the package won't stay closed after opening, but the cloths themselves are EXCELLENT!

Contains dimethicone!

1

the covering and trapping property of dimethicone means that it's not just trapping moisture, but bacteria, skin oils, sebum, and other impurities. That a NO for those prone to acne or oily skin. Why not use a natural product like Shea butter?
