Best cleanser for dry skin

5

I seriously cannot be without this cleanser. At night I first I use a teaspoon of organic coconut oil (Trader Joe's) to remove eye make up, and then I use my magical Moisture Boost on my face, neck, and décolleté which cleanses well without stripping the skin. This is one of the very few cleansers which leaves my face feeling hydrated after cleansing. Even my picky/difficult husband LOVES this product, and he literally panicked when he ran low on his bottle. Lucky for him I had a back up bottle! Btw, the Resist cleanser is fine too, but the Moisture Boost is my fave. PS: I do NOT recommend keeping Moisture Boost cleanser in the shower since that once led to mold growth in the cap after one day.

Great cleanser but needs new packaging

This cleanser is perfect for my acne prone skin. Most cleansers dry my skin out but this does not and cleans well. My only complaint is that the cap clogs up. I wish this had a pump instead or bottom of bottle dispenser.

Not for dry skin

3

The product cleans the skin well and the skin feels smooth after using it. However, it's not so suitable for dry skin as it really dries skin compared to some other creamy-textured cleansers for dry skin. Even a generous amount of a moisturizer doesn't help and the skin feels tight

great cleanser

I really love this cleanser and it does remove my most of my make-up. I have to go over my eye area twice to get all my mascara off but I don't mind the extra step. It is a great cleanser for me because I can use it on my super-sensitive eye area with no burning or irritation. I work 10 hour night shifts in a busy level 1 trauma hospital. When I come home from work, this cleanser feels so rich and soothing to my tired face. I buy the bigger size and it lasts me for 4 months.

Amazing cleanser once you get used to the smell

5

This is one of my standby cleansers that I know will not dry out or irritate my skin. Recently, some of my old favorites have been making my skin tingle despite having no issue with the small amount of fragrance before. This one cleans my skin and leaves it feeling supple rather than tight and itchy like all gel cleansers do. It took me about a week to get used to the smell, and I'm glad I kept usingit instead of returning it right away.

Love this cleanser

5

My skin is acne prone/combo and is really sensitive to cleaners. The wrong cleanser will dry out my skin for days after just one wash. This is the perfect cleanser for me. My skin is clean without feeling dry or irritated. My only complaint is that I would like the bottle with a pump or where the cleanser dispenses from the bottom of the bottle.

Excellent Overall Cleanser!

5

I have been using this cleanser for YEARS! Even as my skin has gone from combo, to oily back to combo and sometimes dry as I approach 50 years old, this cleanser is the BEST! It removes all my makeup and doesn't leave my face feeling tight. I wasn't aware it was discontinued because I buy extras when I place orders. I am happy it was brought back and I didn't have to panic! My other favorites are they Hydralight SPF 30 Moisturizer and the Skin Balancing Toner!

Thank you for bringing back this excellent product line :)

I can't thank you enough for bringing back the Hydralight and Moisture Boost product lines. I am so happy. These are the two cornerstone product lines that kept me with Paula's Choice since day 1, and they always provide the best results with absolutely no irritation or tightness, or dryness or redness....and they don't cause breakouts. These are absolutely the two best product lines that you offer (and the best products lines in any skin care line on the market). I'd like to say that I'll be ordering these items right away, but I have a little bit of those products already stocked up from when you announced that you were discontinuing these two lines. Rest assured, when my supply runs out, I will be ordering these products regularly, as I always have done. Please don't ever stop selling these two wonderful product lines.

Mixed feelings

3

This cleanser was very effective and it had a nice texture that rinsed off easily; it did not leave a gross film on my face or give me any redness, stinging, itching or bumps. However, it was not hydrating at all. Maybe it was becasue I put on too much, but I only have slightly dry skin and my face felt totally stripped and rough a few minutes after application. For my skin, it is not suitable for everyday use.
