The bomb

It's possible I've written a review for this before, but I noticed it had a lower rating than I think it deserves so I had to chime in. 32, fair skin, redness and rosaceae prone, signs of sun damage in the form of fine lines around eyes and forhead wrickles starting to escalate, mild acne, blackheads, ans clogged pores (except almost all better or gone now thanks to PC, but rjats what we're working on). This is a superb HG product. Started using it before my wedding two years ago. It's one you can use and see results with the next morning, and then more as the week goes on. Super powers: pat a teensy weensy little tiny bit on an angry red zit, it's gone or half the size in the morning. Makes my small warts (OH MY GOD I KNOW I HAVE WARTS) flatten and diminish in size noticably after 1-2 uses (!!!). Makes my redness and rosacea around my nose visibly diminished by morning. Makes my little crepe skin around my eyes plump up within a week. Fades big freckles aka sun damage within 1-3 weeks. Keep in mind: they mean it when they say "pat don't rub." It's very weird if you try to slather it on. TEENSY WEENSY layer of film. For that reason, it's best for the little spots not the forehead wrinkles. Go slow, especially if you've never used vitamin c before. Maybe start with a lower dose vitamins c product and work your way to this. It's such a remarkable product it's worth it. It's so expensive I tend to use it less than I should because I TREASURE IT. I'm in grad school and sometimes really neglect my skin. This is great stuff to use to bring my skin back to life after finals and falling asleep in my makeup, eating sugar and not exercising. Side note: so is skin perfecting 2% bha. No one can believe I'm 32 and even though 32 is actually quite young, I did a lot of reckless sunbathing in my teens and early twenties with zero sunscreen. It caught up with me at 27 and Paula's Choice has helped me make up for the folly of my youth!! Thank you, PC!

It takes a long time, but it works...

I have hyperpigmentation where I had acne on my cheeks as a teenager (a long long time ago). I tried the spot treatment for 6 weeks with no difference. After that, the spots started to fade. Now, after 4 months or so of nightly use, I can only see very faded spots if I stick my face right up to the mirror. The 5ml tiny little tube lasts for ages; I only use the tiniest bit right on the spots.

Takes a while, has impact

Takes discipline but it works. I had to apply it daily for a long time but my brown spots finally faded.

This product may be underrated...

I was skeptical about this product, but finally tried it out. I put it on an small blemish--you know, one of those whiteheads that never seems to surface and go away and creates an unsightly bump on your face--to see if it would have any effect. My 2% BHA gel and lotion just weren't cutting it. I was pleasantly surprised to see that after multiple weeks of use (it was not an overnight process by any means) that white bump finally began to shrink and eventually surface to be gently scrubbed away. I am currently testing it out on two other similar blemishes and a keratosis and am finding that the two other blemishes are becoming smaller and more pointed (like the first one before it was ready to go). Nothing else changed in my skincare regimen so I'm giving credit to this little product. Be warned, though--I had to be patient about it. Just glad that I won't have to go to a dermatologist to deal with these blemishes.
