Ratings & Reviews

I love the moisturizer but the packaging -- erg!!!

I don't know what to say. I have three semi full bottles of this stuff. The bottles don't work. I am done with paula's choice and I have been a customer for years. I can't keep buying these bottles that don't work. and, you can't get into them to get the stuff out. I will have to break the bottles to get to the product.

This product was not an issue with my sensitive skin, and it is moisturizing but does not feel heavy. While using for about a month, I noticed the fine lines on my forehead and slightly enlarged pores on my cheeks diminished enough for me to notice. I ran out and the fine lines are back, so I reordered.

Extremely irritating around the eyes

I have been a faithful Pauls's Choice customer for three years and counting. This product has been in my arsenal all along, but cumulative use has sensitized the area around my eyes. It's great for the neck and chest, but a word of warning is in order: retinol around the eyes is not necessarily a good thing. Bottom line, yes, I would recommend this moisturizer to a friend, *with caution.*

Not a good product. Did nothing. Don't waste your money.

Did nothing for me

I never leave bad reviews, I usually just don't buy the product again. But this did absolutely nothing to my skin. No improvement in the fine lines at all, I used the Luna oil for a week before this one and I saw results the first day of using it. I wanted to try a less pricey retinol and contacted Paula's choice customer service. They were really nice and great, they suggest this product after telling them I used Luna before. I really wanted to like it, but I did not :( However I liked the resist serum and BHA liquid.

I really want to like this product, but...

I really want to like this product, but once the product has dried, my skin feels dry after I use this. I have to use a moisturizer on top of it.

A must have for any anti-aging regime

I can't live without this moisturizer. I use it at night after a serum and my skin is so soft and smooth in the morning. I have recommended it to many people who agree it is a necessary component to all skin care regimes. When I visit spas, I am always compliment on how great my skin looks and I tell them about this moisturizer!

A mainstay

I don't know why I haven't reviewed this before. This is an absolute mainstay in my routine. I started using the Resist line several years ago and have been so pleased. I might swap some elements in and out (serums or exfoliators, for example), but I have stuck with this. As the last step in my nighttime routine, this stuff is simply perfect. It is light, smooth, elegant, and soothing, no matter what shape my skin is in. It has not fought with any product I've used (even those that did not work for me). It starts to melt just from the warmth of my hands and soaks right into my skin. No stickiness, greasiness, or bad smell. And it works! I am mid-50s, with slightly dry/sensitive skin. I have some wrinkles and old sun damage. I have also struggled with some annoyances such as menopausal acne, texture issues, and sun sensitivity, and have worked through various solutions. Right now though, thanks to the Resist line, my skin is in the best shape ever. I owe a lot of that to this moisturizer. This. This! I suspect I will continue to use this forever. I rarely say that about any product because I love trying new things, but honestly, why mess with what works and works well?

Like this but beware of packaging

I love this product but one day I noticed what appeared to be glitter all over my face. What was happening was that the raised silver writing on the container was flaking off and I imagine transferring from my hands to my face. Really difficult to get off your face once it has attached to the moisturizer. Iive gotten around this by wrapping a tissue around the bottle and scotch taping it. I like the product enough to continue using it. Hope they can fix the packaging.

Not for my skin I guess

I purchased a bunch of samples of both this product and the Resist Intensive Repair Moisturizer with the intention of deciding which one I'd like to use as an eye cream. The samples lasted forever since I was only using them around my eye area, so after several months my eye lids became really dry. I used more. They became dryer. Then they became chapped; started to peel; turned red. Finally I stopped using them, but my eye area wouldn't clear up, but spread and became swollen. I finally had to go to the doctor who surmised the retinol must have been the irritant. A drying agent in a moisturizer. Didn't work for me, though obviously works for some people.
