I really love this serum!

I have been a longtime user of PC! I have been using the 1% Booster maybe once or twice per week as I love lightweight textures. Anyway, I wanted to incorporate a retinol product more frequently but prefer serums. I bought this and really like it. First, the new packaging is fantastic. Second, the serum is light and only takes two pumps to cover my face. It sinks in, and then I can apply my Peptide Booster followed by my nighttime moisturizer. I will continue to purchase this but still use the 1% Booster two times per week!

Love this!

It does not irritate my skin and I have sensitive skin. It is smooth and makes my face feel soft. I love this and am ordering again!

Heaven in a little bottle

I have ordered this once from Paula and I'm ready to reorder. It it so smooth and luxurious with no scent. I first put on a BHA or AHA. Then I slather this on. After my first use, I thought I would be unable to use my regular moisturizer and makeup. I thought it would just slide off. Now, I just put this product on and wait for about 60 seconds while my skin literally drinks it in. Then I continue with my regular routine. My skin feels buttery smooth using this product on a regular basis. I am 65 years old and I have very dry skin and I live in a very dry climate. My advice to everyone is to start using this product while you are young and beat the age game. 😊

The perfect retinol serum

I have dry skin which means wrinkles even at 26. This product have helped a lot in the turn over of my skin, giving it a smoother more even texture. I use it one or twice a week only because I do experience some flaking if I use too much retinol. I have burned my skin while cooking ( small burn next to my mouth) and in a week there was no scar or and the discolouration has dismissed significantly.

Great option for retinol in a silicon based formula!

The retinol serum from the Resist line is a product I like in my routine, but I still prefer better the Clinical 1% (and I see better faster results). The Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Serum has a very silky texture, gliding easily on the skin; it's a great product for people who like to take their time to massage the skin when applying serums. I regularly use retinol and antioxidants in my skincare, so I didn't noticed any major improvements; but this serum maintained and sustained the results (in terms of smoothing lines and wrinkles) than my good skincare provides me. Retinol is a must in my skincare, helping me with skin texture and firmness. The Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Serum doesn't provide me the same plumpness in the morning after as the Clinical 1%, still. I have combination skin and although silky and silicony, it's lightweight on the skin and it didn't clogged my pores. I'm actually quite surprised how fast it absorbs into the skin without leaving an oily or tacky residue. The dry areas of my skin definitely benefited from the extra hydrating and emmolient ingredients in this product. As it's a silicone based product, I see it a good option as a primer; but personally I keep my morning routine minimal (cleanser, toner, eye cream, SPF). I have quite a strong tolerance to retinol, I can use it daily without issue. But even so, I think that the elegant silky formula makes this retinol serum less potentially irritating. Also, I just love the packaging, from the perfect working pump to the aesthetics of the bottle. I would love to see the new boosters in a similar package.

FINALLY - NO scent!

I stumbled across Paula's Choice whilst looking at another product and was intrigued when it claimed "no added fragrances" and stated there was "no odour". I have been through a gamut of products that promised me that and I have a drawer of items which MAY work well, but give me such a headache that I can't use them. I have tried MANY products now - either in full, travel or sample size- none of them have a scent, an odour, a whiff of fragrance that fades away - Yippee!! This product and the Clinical 1% Retinol are my favourites, by far. I use this in the morning and the 1% at night. This serum looks like olive oil and, initially, feels as such - but I give it a minute or two before I add blush and find it soaks right into my skin. I have also noticed an improvement in overall skin brightness. Am hoping it will help my dark spots, but that may just take time. If it doesn't? Meh - I am happy with the look and feel of my skin now - unless of course, the dark spots get darker.. I am over 50 and menopause is rearing it's ugly head.. LOL So THANK YOU Paula's Choice for giving us older ladies anti-aging products that don't smell like a chemical plant or bouquet of flowers. (P.S. I should thank you for the younger generations, as well - my son inherited my bionic nose and am looking for a product that will help his forehead acne and blackheads.)

Really works

Blurs our my "thinking wrinkle", absorbs quickly into my skin without breaking me out or feeling greasy and neutral scent. And it's only been three days!

Happily Surprised

I love this Serum! When I first recieved it as a sample, I thought, "I can't use that, it'll irritate my skin." But I kept it. After doing some research on smoothing scars, I came upon information about retinol's effectiveness and remembered the sample was still in the drawer. I've used retinol products before for acne (years ago--that was before discovering PC) and they made my skin red and blotchy. Decided to try it and my skin looked great the next day. Soft, smooth, and radiant. No irritation whatsoever. I'll definitely be purchasing this product.

Wouldn't be without

This is a fantastic retinol serum. A little goes a long way. Soaks right in and not greasy. I tried the 1% retinol and had a terrible reaction. However the 1% I can use on my hands and that has done wonders. This serum goes great w/my regimen as well. I use it am/pm. Try it you won't want to be w/out.

Love this Serum

My skin feels silky smooth within minutes of application, just wait a few minutes and it's all absorbed into my skin, and the wrinkles are less pronounced. I like how bright my skin looks after using it. I find it easy to apply, and just a few little dabs are enough to do my whole face and decollete. Couldn't get through the winter in the cold northeast without this serum. Seems to be fragrance free, which is a big plus for me. Highly recommended from this sensitive skinned freckled redhead over age 55!
